What is this friendship we covet
Is it special is it right.
It doesn't need to be sexual.
Sometimes I prefer you when your Intellectual.
A game two or one can play.
Endless childish fun all day.
Watching butterflies flutter bye.
Caterpillars racing them onto the leaves.
Honey bees that don't want to sting.
They are too busy collecting nectar for their queen.
Ladybirds of different colours racing up stems.
Spiders on webs waiting for a friend.
Flies that get stuck in her trap.
She cuddles them and wraps them in a bag.
Walking by the slow flowing stream.
We come to the pond. And play with frog spawn.
The dragonfly on red wings .
Catches a damsel fly to eat.
The birds sing gaily in this secluded spot.
We open our hamper and begin our picnic.
A squirrel comes over to see what he can nick.
You laugh at his boldness and throw him some biscuit.
He takes his prize up a tree he was right to risk it.
Across the pond a heron stands forlorn.
Waiting in the shadows for a fish meal.
I watch you captivated you haven't seen one before.
You take out your camera and get ready to take the shot.
He hears the click and goes into the air.
Your still excited even though the picture is blurred.
You turn and kiss me and thank me for spending time with you.
Two friends out for the day in the afternoon sun.
No need to rush no need to run.
This is what friendship is, just a day of fun.
But all things end and this day will too.
But never this bond between me and you.
Every sleepless night comes with that thought,
The itching feeling in my heart it has brought,
Where are the rest of them sleeping?,
Days without food, their hunger creeping.
My food and water feel like a choke,
My tears get stuck, my heart is broke,
The thought hits like a bomb in my head,
How will I face my Lord when I'm dead.
When He asks why I was blind,
To the suffering and pain of His mankind,
How could I be comfortable when hands were cut?
How could I be so callous and left it to rot?
The children screaming for help,
How could I ignore their helpless yelp,
Can I sleep peacefully with what they've lost?
How can I claim to be righteous at all cost?
How will I make it up to them,
Say we are one, we are brethren,
How can I call myself their kin,
When I betrayed them and stayed within?
I did nothing to help, I did not move,
I did not stop Israel from their cruel groove,
How do I live with the guilt and shame,
The price of my silence is now my name.
Each day I climb a dozen poles
Or venture into underground holes
To run the lines that carry tones
Of voices into people's phones
Protect me Lord as I climb high
The poles that reach into the sky
And please, Lord, catch me should I fall
But better that not happen at all!
And as I crawl through dark, small spaces
Don't let me get stuck in one of those places!
And Lord, give me a sturdy truck,
And trusty tolls and lots of luck
Because my job isn't glamorous
Or thrilling, hip or amorous
But it can be fun, though kind of scary
Which is why I need you to be wary
And make sure I come home okay
At the end of every day
And as I run each telephone line,
I'll thank you Lord, for making this job mine
Rise Up
Rise Up
Please Stand
Give yourself
A chance
You may have fallen
You didnt get stuck
You continued to Rise up
Rise past your circumstance
Rise past your faults
Rise past your mistakes
Rise and do whatever it takes
You can do it
It's not tough
Just remember to Rise Up
Rise up ,Yes you
You have
Alot to do
Even when times get tough ,
Dont stay there
Rise up
(Repeat 1x)
Rise up
To the challenge
Of being the better version of yourself
You can handle it
Rise Up
To the top
No matter what
Never Stop
Rise up
Elevate
You cant every one with you
Lessen your plate
Rise above
Do it with love
Rise up
Dont fall down
If you do
Dont hit the ground
Bounce back
Get on Track
Rise up ,Yes you
You have
Alot to do
Even when times get tough ,
Dont stay there
Rise up
(Repeat 1x)
Rise up
Stay humble
Even when you fumble
Dont get stuck
Continue to Rise Up
Rise up ,Yes you
You have
Alot to do
Even when times get tough ,
Dont stay there
Rise up
(Repeat until chorus fades)

You can hang upside down as a bat
you could dive into the abyss of silence
you could swallow all the keys and get stuck
you could hear the sea calling your name
revere the luscious azure skies
admire its assured and relaxed paddling.
You can stay locked in the medicine cabinet
you can drink as much as you wish
and do whatever you need to do to stay
you can do what you need to do, love or hate
or alter the world's name to yours.
Dear heart
my calm follows your heartbeat
even if you break, I'll moor you
alike the historic tales, my spirit remains
you retain my blood flowing and me living
to survive, we battled bravely.
You can say goodbye to yourself in the mirror
you can despise what you have inherited
It's okay to feel dead in a throbbing city
It's okay to be a whale who never comes up for air.
There might be grief hidden behind your smile
there might be tears behind your laughter
realize that you have my unwavering support.
I will cherish you for the rest of my life.
because you gave me something I couldn't buy: love.

Some minutes consume me like venom darting up your leg
Straight to the heart
No restraint
Like ice melting on a summer day,
the silence of a forest on a frosty day-
Relentless,
Cold,
bittersweet,
The sun rays provide no warmth
Just hope.
Some seconds I fall into the depths of my own sorrow
Forgetting what was, what is to become
And I retreat-
I fall down the sinkhole,
Trapped deep within the dirt
But I’m alright here.
I have found comfort in the treacherous cold,
The pain I feel in my heart-
Almost empty
A kind of frostbite chilling to your bone
A hollow void you’re stuck in like a continuous loop
And yet we must keep moving-
Can’t get stuck in the past
Even though there’s more comfort there than anywhere-
We must survive.
There’s a constant battle of remembering and living-
Living in the past, present, and future
Neglecting anything that doesn’t serve your life
because we aren’t promised another day
We aren’t even promised a year
Let alone a decade,
And as we swallow the doubt that love will ever consume you again-
A hug you look for in every person-
We must look within for guidance
Look inside to see the light-
There will never be light outside-
In the cold dark unforgiving world,
Now in survival mode, we must have faith-
Believe in the invisible linings
Remember that there's always love and hope
And that at the end there's always a light.
To illuminate our uncertain steps
As we journey life's roads ‘very day and night.
It is so very scary how time drifts so fast
And what it was a while ago just yesterday
It is now for us but so many years back.
Seasons come and go- nothing the same stays.
Be cheerful when you look at your days ‘head
Forget the past and never look too long back.
Don't get stuck in self-pity and only regrets.
Remember there's a light in all this dark.
And there are so many ways with life to cope
Because for you there's always love and hope.

Pass a million cars on my way
Back to the small room that I called my home
Getting stuck in traffic physically and mentally
So fast and alone
Little dusky dewdrops cascading upon all my memories
Of that year
Back when I'd get stuck in traffic
Just to help you relieve of all your fears
Hey, you're fine
Come sit along with me in my room
Crank your 3DS speakers
Our hunt began
You'd hold me close and we'd melt down to
Our tender bases then
Brightly shining summer sun illuminating pages
That were so rare
Recommend me favorite teas and offer me some prime loose leaf
To warm our air
Weighed down by my laptop bag for some useless class
I'd drop anyway
Hear the legends singing things I still haven't forgotten
Unto this day
Hey, I'm fine
My room's been empty ever since then
Except for your memory
I relived
Every time I'd need some fuel
To help me make it through the cold nights
Slaying chaos druids on my seventh cup of coffee
Outside, there's snow
Cold December raindrops clinging to my windowsill
That we used to know
I remember the frosty zephyrs and how we'd crack it open
To breathe deeply
Smell the frost of Winter, cooling skin and warming hearts
As you'd cling to me
It was never fine
You know it died when we first gave up
Buried in a cemetery
Built for pets
You came to tear out my Achilles
And you knew that I would let you then
Here alone in my room nearly one thousand days later
And still thinking
Not about returning but just joy I felt back then
Dangled from a string
We're both living our best lives and cursing each other
Unto this day
I know that I once loved you but it's not the case anymore
I can safely say
Hey, I'm fine
Drinking fresh September dewdrops
Getting drunk on nostalgia
I don't mind
The memory of you and me
Doesn't burn anyway anymore
So, it's fine
A thousand days have passed and I'm alive
Drunk but feeling sober
I'm alright
More dusky drive than winter traffic
I've already rolled back home now.
Most local folk lore is intended to unnerve but
I think there's validity to the Haunted horse shoe curve.
The building of our nations rails took a terrible toll
on the Irish, the Chinese, and many other souls..
This was once a very thriving railroad town,
now the population dwindles yet some ghosts
still stick around..
Three years ago I bought my condo in a bit of haste.
I never asked my realtor for a ghost reading of the place..
It's a building designed for seniors so obviously some passed on.
Apparently there's one who is not completely gone,
it's small like a child, might be a leprechaun?
This is factual and not some kind of joke,
in our non-smoking building there's a faint cigar smoke.
Drawers and doors will open where there's no other folks.
Some times out of the corner of one eye, a shorter fleeting
person quickly passes by..
Similar experiences have been reported from coast to coast but are
they actually signs of a visiting ghost?
Initially I read up on ghosts and did a bit of learning,
promptly I bought some sage and had my first burning..
Now I just play tambourines and ring a loud bells to chase
away any stuck energy that dwells.
Living with this ghost has not been a big deal.
Some times I just interrupt it's energy field..
If per chance I should get stuck before I'm safe and heavenly.
I pray that some one out there will do the same for me..
Fallen Stars / Forgotten Dreams.
Who are you to come to me?
To tell me that it's me you see,
Just laying down there in the street,
Upon the cold hard floor of defeat.
The freedom you see in me, is a memory of a forgotten dream,
Of all the things, you never did.
You tried to become just like me,
But we both know that can never be.
So wish away your every dream
And no longer wish you could be, just like me.
The star that you used to wish upon;
The fallen star, who used to sing your favorite song.
The one who got, what was on your mind;
The one who keeps writing the words, you simply can't find.
Those words that get stuck, upon your silver tongue;
The one who clearly, is good enough
