Sonnet: Leave the Past Behind
Remember that there's always love and hope
And that at the end there's always a light.
To illuminate our uncertain steps
As we journey life's roads ‘very day and night.
It is so very scary how time drifts so fast
And what it was a while ago just yesterday
It is now for us but so many years back.
Seasons come and go- nothing the same stays.
Be cheerful when you look at your days ‘head
Forget the past and never look too long back.
Don't get stuck in self-pity and only regrets.
Remember there's a light in all this dark.
And there are so many ways with life to cope
Because for you there's always love and hope.
