YOU ARE MY STYLUS
MY BLUEPRINT EMBEDDED
WRITTEN IN THE SMALLEST PARTS OF ME
YOU DREW ME FORTH
AND MY DESIGN
WAS TO CARRY OUT YOUR INSTRUCTIONS
YOU TRACED OUT MY FRAMEWORK
FILLED IN MY OUTLINE
YOU DIVIDED MY FORM
CONSTRUCTED MY MOLECULES
AND EVERY CELL WITHIN THEM
INLAID WITH THE VAST ARRAY OF POSSIBILITIES
YOUR GLORY THEREIN IS DECLARED
THE VESTIBULE OF MY FABRICATION
MY SHAPING AND TRANSLATION
THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR OWN
DIRECTION
THE AUTHOR OF MY ORIGINS
YOUR MEDIUM NURTURED ME
IN THE WOMB OF LIFE
BROUGHT FORTH MY BEING
AND CLOTHED ME
MASTERFULLY
WITH EVERY DESIRABLE ELEMENT
YOU COULD GIVE
YOUR HANDIWORK AMONGST
ALL THAT YOU HAVE CRAFTED
YOU HAVE WRAPPED ME
WITH YOUR OWN ELOQUENCE
DRESSED ME WITH THE FABRIC
OF YOUR OWN MAKING
THE SETTING OF YOUR OWN TREASURIES
HAVE BECOME MY GEMS
THEY ARE A PRAISE THAT EXALTS
THE WORKS OF YOUR OWN HANDS
YOUR BLESSINGS ARE WITHOUT NUMBER
AND YOUR RICHES ARE TO VAST TO COUNT
FOR MY DESIRE IS SUBJECT
TO ALL THAT YOU HAVE LAID
BEFORE ME
YOUR OWN WORKMANSHIP HAS
ADORNED
ALL THAT IS TO BE TREASURED
YOUR OWN PENCIL HAS LEAD ME
TO THE DRAWING OF LIFE
THE PATTERN LAID OUT BY YOUR
ONLY BEGOTTEN SON
AND WE ARE THE WORK OF HIS HANDS

I am alive enjoying the breath
endowed by the self-existent “I AM”
fully persuaded to maximize
existence-vitality yon survival-difficulty
while sharing radiance of divine goodness.
I am a new creation
bearing the image of the Lord
accepting flaws with yielded heart
toward transformation-glow
while striving to do best with kindness-zeal
I am a vessel molded by virtues
gradually, yet struggling against pride’s grip
as self-righteousness lurks
yet submission to the Almighty braces my heart
while faith continues to cleave to grace and mercy.
I am a privileged servant
indeed, verily blessed
to work in the ministerial realm
reaching-out, proclaiming Gospel
while ceasing not to seek first God’s kingdom.
I am a grateful child of the Father*
surely benefited with His love and care
guided by the Holy Ghost
with the good Shepherd’s truth
while my soul exalts Him in my obedience.
I am a hopeful believer
envisioning eternal victory
propelled to run life’s race with patience
against challenges, trials, despair
while fulfilling my entrusted role as a life-builder.
*Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."

January 14 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Genesis 41-42
Key Verse – Genesis 41:16 And Joseph answered Pharaoh, saying, It is not in me: God shall give Pharaoh an answer of peace.
HEART THAT BELIEVES GOD WHO GIVES AN ANSWER OF PEACE
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart triumphs in His victory
With His assurance for our salvation by His glory
That secures our eternal future against hell’s fury
Midst sinfulness attacking us along guilt’s misery.
God gives us an answer of peace as we show our heart’s sincere gratitude
With His approval for our faith-anchored attitude
That strengthens our trust-fortitude
Midst challenges in life along trials' latitude.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart serves Him midst Christ’s gearing
With His righteousness for our holy faith’s soaring
That upholds our soul against transgression-caused torturing
Midst frustrations in discipleship’s fruit-bearing.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart offers sacrifices of humble presentation
With His grace for our constant purification
That grants our iniquities’ forgiveness-sanctification
Midst pride in meekness-practice and performance-perfection.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart exalts Him with joyful praises
With His gladness for triumphant worship our spirit expresses
That lifts up our commitment against laxity’s forces
Midst discontentment in worldliness’ success.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart magnifies Him upon truthful excellence
With His standard for our effective and efficient diligence
That corrects our complacency and negligence
Midst slothfulness in working, devoid of competence.
God gives us an answer of peace as our heart seeks His favour for our labour's sincerity
With His commendation for our dedication’s tenacity
That blesses our obedience of love for Him in honesty
Midst provings in abiding in His will of nourishing prosperity.

Your lips preach freedom,
but your hands drip with the oil of innocent blood.
You speak of peace,
but your bombs have baptized the earth in chaos.
I have seen your flags fly high
in Baghdad, in Kabul, in Tripoli—
not as symbols of liberty,
but as shadows over graves you helped dig.
You called Saddam a demon,
spoke of weapons never found—
but the only weapon that killed thousands
was your lie, polished and televised.
You turned the Holy Land
into a furnace of weeping mothers.
And still, your voice says:
"We fight for democracy."
But democracy does not come
on the back of tanks.
It does not wear uniforms that trample
the cries of the oppressed.
You speak of the International Criminal Court—
and yet,
you silence it when the gavel falls
on one of your own:
Benjamin Netanyahu, the accused,
bathed in Gaza’s smoke,
but guarded by your shield of denial.
You call yourselves the civilized,
but your soul has forgotten
the God who lifts the humble
and breaks the prideful.
Now, the Global South is rising—
with the dignity you once denied them.
They remember Congo.
They remember Haiti.
They remember the long night of colonial cruelty.
You call them enemies,
but they are only your mirror,
reflecting your sins with sobering truth.
And I say to you:
> What you do unto the least of these, you do unto yourselves.
For every empire built on lies will fall by truth.
Your children will ask one day:
"What did you build, father?"
Will you say:
"I built prisons in Palestine and playgrounds in Texas?"
No—
the world will not forget,
and neither will God.
> “For everyone who exalts himself shall be humbled,
and the one who humbles himself shall be exalted.”
Amen.
Jesus Christ the very son of God
lived a life of humility so real
being a servant to all He saw
washing their feet was real deal
This Jesus showed His followers
how He wanted them so to be
by His life full of abundant grace
showing His loving mercy so free
So learn to be that humble person
that is for you the Lord's will
for in that position of humility
God will exalt you just be still
This humility is so very pleasing
in God's eyes and in His heart
for in that He sees His son
in all His fullness not just a part
Humble humble humble humble
drum it in continuously display it out
show this world God's on His throne
this is what Jesus is all about

“Jesus, Lover of my soul, Let me to Thy bosom fly
While the nearer waters roll, While the tempest still is high!”
This is the first verse of the hymn “JESUS, LOVER OF MY SOUL”
penned by Charles Wesley
Secured in my Saviour’s compassion-might
Blest to be so loved, though undeserving
Oh, my heart in Jesus Christ finds delight
Precious best Friend*, eternally loving.
Offering boundless mercy, hope and grace
God reaches my soul, granting full pardon
Settling me around His divine embrace
Precious best Friend, eternally loving.
Facing trials, my faith valiantly stands
Upheld by the Lord, triumphantly strong
He’s my Fortress, vanquishing doubt-demands
Precious best Friend, eternally loving.
As called steward for His work partnership
My spirit exalts the Supreme Master
While blissfully meeting Him in worship
Precious best Friend, eternally loving.
*Proverbs 17:17 A friend loveth at all times...
John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

Forty years ago, we said “I do”
You pledged to me, and I pledged to you
And in a fleeting moment’s span,
our journey through life began.
Our friendship over time has grown
Despite the curved balls, life has thrown.
God has His divine magic spun
Uniting our souls into one.
As we have grown closer to Him,
Our love was kept from growing dim.
His love for us makes ours strong
Even at times when things go wrong.
A better wife I could not find
One so affable and kind.
You have been patient with my faults
When my ego itself exalts.
As we start another year
We can do so without fear.
For the one who pilots our ship
He never falters, nor does he slip.
In this world engrossed in sin
May His light shine from within.
So, a soul forlorn and lost
Will be rescued from life’s frost.
August 2 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Isaiah 22-26
Key Verse – Isaiah 22:17 Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee.
FAITH IN GOD WHO CARRIES US
AWAY FROM SIN-CAPTIVITY
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward grateful thanksgiving
While counselling us to trust Him, always His Word believing
By His assurance to which we are constantly cleaving
As our faith increases for our triumphant living.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward wise spirituality
While guarding us against destruction of fear’s fatality
By His deliverance proven in our salvation-certainty
As our faith stands upon His truth’s verity.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward joyous praises
While freeing us against bondage of unbelief’s curses
By His sanctification and forgiveness for our confessed carnal choices
As our faith trusts Him to cover us with His compassion that encloses.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward holy fight
While leading us to walk for maturity-height
By His direction nurturing us to do what is right
As our faith flourishes for stewardship delight.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward victorious promised land
While instructing us along His command
By His precepts through His governing hand
As our faith abides in Him for sincere service as He planned.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward divine fruitfulness
While ruling over us to conquer our doubtfulness
By His blessings showcasing His graciousness
As our faith keeps on clinging to Him against sinfulness.
God carries us away from sin-captivity toward everlasting treasure
While bringing us to His save heaven against grievous pressure
By His strength upholding us midst His cheerful pleasure
As our faith exalts Him for His greatness beyond measure.
