FAITH IN GOD WHO ENABLES US TO UNDERSTAND DIVINE TRUTH
God enables us to understand divine truth by His discernment
Toward being assured of our salvation settlement
As our faith trusts His Word of empowerment
Surely securing our eternal fulfillment.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His heavenly vision
Toward being grateful for His compassion
As our faith abides in His will with His supervision
Surely protecting our souls from sin-oppression.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His wisdom
Toward being aware of experiencing genuine freedom
As our faith seeks first His favour along His kingdom
Surely driving us to serve Him against boredom.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His preaching
Toward being exhorted to learn from Biblical teaching
As our faith increases along stewardship’s enriching
Surely letting us progress for mission out-reaching.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His light
Toward being illumined against deceitful blight
As our faith depends on His omniscient insight
Surely directing us for triumphant flight.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His Scriptures’ glow
Toward being conscious about His wonders of omnipotent show
As our faith progresses while we spiritually grow
Surely propelling us to do our best along His blessings’ flow.
God enables us to understand divine truth by His holiness
Toward being sanctified to walk along paths of righteousness
As our faith exalts Him with His gracious forgiveness
Surely preserving us upon His victorious steadfastness.
