Women Inventors/Creators Of History
In Honor of the following great women inventors and creators:
(*Vera Rubin, Cecilia Payne, Chien Shiung Wu, Nette Stevens, Ida Tacke, Esther Lederberg, Lise Meitner, Henrietta Leavitt, Joyce Bell Burnell, and Rosalind Franklin)
Lost in oblivion, tossed into the abyss
Sisters of creation missed their mark
Stripped from the pages of history
Removed, dismissed, buried in the underground, in decay, lost identities
These ten, not even remembered as a myth
Gone without a kiss of recognition
The wave of time waves good-bye to these fine women
Denied their recognition and place in time by men
Oppressed and overlooked
Vast and noble discoveries
Contributions to the human condition
Created by their genius minds
Now covered by the abyss of ignorance
Cheated, removed from the book of time
Their names should be memorized by children
But they reside in the trash bin of history
A catastrophe on a monumental scale
Advancements claimed by others
Who deserves this mistreatment?.... Not men…
Smart women in this world remain unclaimed
Lost like luggage on the brutal side of life’s airplane
Crashed with no survivors
And how disturbing to be deprived of such monumental findings
Their works turned over to incompetence in vile form
Discoveries in the sciences and nature simply blind sided
Where is their truth? Where is their justice?
Men, culture, ego and shear ignorance, persists, prevails
And who permits such atrocities as this but us
We wage war against these geniuses
In our silence is our shame
Removed from the pages from history are their names and fame
Blame humanity as we forget these ladies
Denied the truth and beauty of their contributions
Their names are not remembered
We can honor them here and now
By not hiding them on shelves
Teach the children. Educate them and ourselves
There is nothing like discovery
There is nothing quite like the truth
April 18 Scripture Meditations Based on Esther 4-6
Key Verse – Esther 4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME YOUR PEACE
Thank You for giving me Your peace of assured salvation
Always silencing my fears brought by doubt-caused desperation
To calm me down against panic about unknown situation…
Now, I’m confidently settled in Your eternal redemption.
Thank You for giving me Your peace of secured eternity
Always protecting my faith against any uncertainty
To teach me Your principles’ stability…
Now, I’m steadfastly kept within Your Word’s infallibility.
Thank You for giving me Your peace of everlasting life
Always healing my soul from wounds of transgression-strife
To strengthen me midst challenges that are oppressively rife…
Now, I’m definitely guarded by Your sword against foes’ knife.
Thank You for giving me Your peace of joyful worship
Always delighting my heart in Your offered relationship
To encourage me toward fruitful stewardship…
Now, I’m absolutely guided through Your leadership.
Thank You for giving me Your peace of sovereign might
Always controlling my being through Your illuminating light
To help me do what is acceptably right…
Now, I’m fully geared toward Your holiness-height.
Thank You for giving me Your peace of heavenly standard
Always moving my all for service against vanities that retard
To revive me to fulfill my tasks as Your steward…
Now, I’m willingly committed to work in Your vineyard.

A face masked with beauty,
And a heart engross with
charity.
An eyes as blazing as the
sun,
Attached to a creature that
brings fun.
Lips that produces an
astonished smile,
That can make the air still
for a while.
A nose that makes up her
beautiful face,
Wonderfully created in the
whole of human race.
A tongue that speaks for
the truth,
Of a unique creature down
from her root.
A pair of hands that
embrasses love,
Love of her father above.
A chest that protects her
special heart,
From thorns that can tear it
apart.
Hairs both dark and brown,
That helps fit in her beauty
crown.
A mind that's as peaceful as
a dove,
Connecting with a will to
show love.
A pair of ears that makes
her a good listener,
And 2 fist that makes her a
good fighter.
20 set of amazing fingers,
That makes her beauty
lingers.
A reddish fluid that flows
through her veins,
And tears that help wash
away all her pains.
In her face lies 2 dots of
dinpples,
That makes her lovely,
gorgeous and simple.
A slimy gorgeous body of
hers,
That makes her more
beautiful than her pals.
From the crown of her hair
to the sow of her feet,
Looks so radiant without a
zit.
A pair of legs that keeps her
moving by faith,
And also enables her to
raise above hate.
She possess a skin so
bright like a star,
And as sweet as ester.
All these unique parts
comes together,
To make up a special
creature altogether.
Believe me when i say she's
amazing to be with,
And a perfect world without
her is incomplete.
Her face is made without a
scar,
That's why her beautiful
name is ESTHER.
Esther’s apartment is almost the same
As it was when she lived in its space.
Her son and her daughter-in-law (my dear friend)
Live there now and her vibe they embrace.
All her furniture’s there and her dishes and lamps
And the paintings of many a child
(Even Esther), plus one of a rabbi and all
By her father, professionally styled.
For the last twenty years of her life, Esther made
The apartment a welcoming home,
Where her family, including great-grandchildren, came,
Never thinking they’d be in a poem.
But my favorite thing was the album, quite big,
Of her wedding, a gala affair,
All the images captured in black and white shots
With a true 1950-type flair.
Esther’s spirit lives on, which would not be the case
If my friend and her husband weren’t there,
But they’ve honored her past as their future is made
Which, to me, seems so special and rare.
Nomenclature
Nomenclature robed in wealth of words
The hot sauce that makes the tongue hurry
I am the live in the lively garment of merry
Like a hare I burrow to the worlds.
Esther had a dream last night
She said I am called Victory
Like in the Mordecai's story
To darkness a spill of light.
I am what I am called
Spiced and baked in Grace
I am a perfect breathing oeuvre
In clean clay, mixed and kilned.
I have written my name in gold
Bright effect, large format and space
Stellar polished over and over…
I am dark shine and bold.
I am the Goodness kidnapped by blessing
The laughter on the lips of sadness
The contagious smile pocketed in the hollow of frown
I am the throne of the King mercy.
I am the tiny thing in the Bosom of The I AM
The decorated ass of gladness
The new noise in town
Like the celebration of the new yam...
I am the greatly true and real
My name is not in the book of abstractions
My fate is not the man of superstitions
I am the planted dead grown cereal…
I am the branch in the Vine
Sprouting abroad…across nations
Godly-spread intending intentions
I am the wonder and my root is Divine.

May 29 Faith in God Bible Meditations Based on Esther 1-3
Key Verse – Esther 1:4 When he shewed the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honour of his excellent majesty…
FAITH IN GOD WHO REIGNS IN HIS GLORIOUS KINGDOM
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His majestic perfection
Over humanistic riches of temporal exaltation
While radiating His supreme heavenly declaration
That brightens our faith along His eternal salvation.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His mighty deliverance
Over wicked arrogance of deceitful endurance
While prevailing with His peace-filled forbearance
That empowers our faith by His Scriptural assurance.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His tender mercy
Over abounding iniquity needing His clemency
While showing His orderliness and decency
That straightens our faith along His standard of excellency.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His awesome goodness
Over abusive treatment with grievous rudeness
While highlighting His care and loving kindness
That encloses our faith around His constant graciousness.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His ready upholding
Over frustrating downfall because of lack of understanding
While asserting His protection He is not withholding
That drives our faith for service-prodding.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His wondrous name
Over oppressive sins that bring to us guilt and shame
While offering His forgiveness knowing our weak frame
That strengthens our faith toward revival flame.
God reigns in His glorious kingdom midst His triumphant Word
Over wrong doctrines with their attacking discord
While vanquishing falsity by His Spirit’s sword
That champions our faith, testifying that He is our Lord.

One of God's blessing to a
man,
Is to send him an angel in
the form of a human.
Each day i keep thanking
the stars,
For blessing me with a
friend as amazing as the
stars.
A friend i found in you,
With a caring heart
available to few.
A friend like no other friend,
That i can lay down my life
to defend.
A friend not so far from my
heart,
Someone i can call a
sweetheart.
A friend i don't regret
meeting,
That keeps my heart
beating.
A friend i can't scream at or
fight with,
Not even in my time of
writhe.
A friend i love so so much,
Treasure and care for so
much.
A friend like you is like
having no worries in my
life,
That's why i choose to keep
you even in my afterlife.
A friend i don't want to lose,
God's amazing gift that i
can't refuse.
A friend created with all
measures of beauty,
Made with every sense of
human and heavenly
beauty.
A friend i have always
wanted,
Someone i have chosen to
keep even when being
taunted.
A friend like you is like
being in comfort all day,
And an heavenly blessing in
every way.
A friend with an angelic
smile,
That can heal a broken
heart from a thousand mile.
A friend that makes a heart
that never pains,
That washes away my
misery like the rains.
A friend like you is that type
of friend,
That puts all of my fears to
an end.
A friend that changed
everything around me,
By your side is where i
want to forever be.
A friend whose beautiful
name is ESTHER,
Whose future is so bright
like a star.
You are a smile in my
tearsful face,
And a wonderful memory i
can't erase.
You're a friend i promise to
keep till the end,
And forever i will be proud
to call you my best friend.
Divine Intervention
Don’t be upset, don’t grow weary,
When plans collapse, when doors close suddenly.
A man’s heart deviseth his way:
But the LORD directeth his steps. (Proverbs 16:9)
You begged to get on that flight,
To your long-awaited destination.
But the gate was shut,
And your heart sank in frustration.
You wept, you shouted, disheartened by delay—
Until news came of disaster,
And your soul whispered, thank You, Lord,
For this was divine intervention.
You missed the train, because the tailor was late with your new clothes.
What felt like anger and wasted time,
Became your rescue—
The train met tragedy, and you realised it was not the tailor’s tardiness but divine intervention.
Esther was crowned, Joseph was sold,
Stories of sorrow in Scripture are told.
Yet God was working through every pain,
To bring His people life again.
What seemed like loss was God’s design,
Yes, this too was a case of divine intervention.
And think of us all—
When sin entered the world,
Darkness sought to consume us whole.
But Christ stepped down from heaven’s throne,
Took on flesh, bore the cross,
Rose victorious.
The greatest act of mercy was God's divine plan to save man
The greatest Divine Intervention.
So, child of God,
When plans are broken,
When roads are blocked,
Don’t lose heart.
Lift your eyes and trust His hand—
For every delay,
Every detour,
Every disruption—
May be His protection,
Maybe His love,
Surely it will be His divine intervention.
Praise Him!
Praise Him still—
For His mercies never fail.
Praise Him!
Praise Him always—
For His Divine Interventions.
Eve, the mother of all mankind,
Adam found his helpmeet in her.
Old Sarah, through faith, was confined.
Rebecca, the first twins’ mother.
Shiphrah and Puah, brave midwives
Saved Hebrew children, fearing God.
Fearless Jochebed hid her child,
Because of her, Moses survives.
Rahab hid spies for she was awed
By the true God, who on her, smiled.
Like Deborah, who could you find?
Her bold judgement caused quite a stir.
Jael, Heber’s wife, was brave of mind,
She killed Sisera on a spur.
Naomi was a good mother
To her daughter-in-law named Ruth.
Ruth left her all to follow God,
Was one of Jesus’ ancestors.
Prayerful Hannah in her youth
Gave child Samuel back to God;
Intelligent Abigail soothed
King David’s wrath, became his wife.
The young maid of Israel smoothed
Naaman’s healing from leprous strife.
Daring Queen Esther without fear,
Saved the Jews from being wiped out.
What can I say of blessed Mary?
She bowed to God’s will with all cheer.
Dorcas, Lydia did not pout,
Active were they in church early.
Women from all walks of life are
Found in the Bible to teach us,
Each, in her own way, is a star,
A vessel for God, a great plus;
Rhoda, Priscilla and others,
All are equally paramount,
Only a few have I mentioned,
Sisters, daughters, wives and mothers,
There are so many, I can’t count,
Let’s learn from them as intentioned.
