let me take thee dear reader rabbit alas and alack
on an imaginary carpet ride whisk king ye dis family back
rheumy eyes started to water from nostalgic clack
until reverse time warp registered
late 19600's, without one kink
smooth all the way akin
to a flawless artful lettered link
no harm to any animals,
though a near head on collision with a mink
crossing the bridge o'er Tarabithia one gruff troll
nearly upended our smooth sailing thru ether with a roll
over maneuver that near went awry,
but for the amazing grace of dog a poll
lease trained pooch,
who cuz born on Christmas christened Noel
accompanied with lady and the tramp
no major plans did we need to revamp
and upon arrival at destination
received good house keeping stamp
of approval to begin playing an all time favorite
pass time (with rules adapted as needed) to hit
a high score, when at some impromptu moment lit
an unseen spark, then after determining
who would go first, (while whirling in a small orbit)
now both of us far to involved to quit
we applied “rock”, “paper”, and “scissors”
and commenced our aim
which entailed (either me or shari)
to choose other than our own class picture to claim
for the other sibling to identify the correct name
though thru countless repetitions, the novelty did not get bland
a minor bit of concentration each of us did politely demand
of student (or teacher), whatever kid our index finder did land
number of iterations continued, how many...oh brother,
sans gesticulating rigmarole without asking mother
father, nor eldest sister, 'til eventually every girl and boy
(from respective grade including the other)
accurately identified, than back to the future we went
after what seemed like an eternity spent
revisiting nostalgic day of yesteryear,
when upon arrival to the heron now birds-eye view
our bodies morphed aging at warp speed
thomas sister this yawping crotchety old fogey gent.
I remember you and the promises
the feel of the embrace of love
the tenderness of feeling whole
I remember loving you
and everything it so entailed
the magic of our togetherness
and the mightiness of our bond
Basically I remember you loving me
and me loving you ~
we’re caught in a cosmic dance
I’ve let the grieving take its course
it fills me now with less of a longing
and the healing is more of a blessing
that overcomes me with gentle warmth
Strange how the pain has slowly vanished
to make way for waves of love
that feel dauntless and eternal

Just when they
thought you were done
here you come again
pen & pad in tow
Ready to go the distance
and to depths
they'll never know
They say
you never know
who it is you may
be entertaining
Is it an angel?
A demon?
Who is it today
we're defaming?
Maybe shaming
a sinner by
throwing rocks
at their glass
How about praising
saints that rig boards
& hide behind checkered
pasts?
I know!!
Let's be devils for a spell
or a few because we can
then grandstand in a pew
on Sunday
Fun days throwing
caution to the wind
as if you never knew
right from wrong
Shew others
because they're
not like you
Same old
broken record
song
You win
as long as you
repent again & again
Right
This world is a
bright heaven for sinners
& hell for saints
with starter packets
Who wants to wear
that jacket anyway
even if it does come
equipped with wings?
It seems the caged bird
only sings to keep from
having to tell its sad story
All the gory details entailed
depict a horrifyingly
ironic comedy
Often mistaken
for shtick
this dramedy
is sickeningly real
You have to feel
what I'm putting down
in order to pick up
on their spiel
They lay it on real thick
but thinly disguise it
so that you remain
unaware
Who cares what YOU
have to say anyway
right?
Hey you with the glasses
how about we have you
lead the masses to
destruction?
As long as you
follow instructions
your blindness is
alright with me
Are you following me
or are you tracing
the outline of some
blind architect?
More power to you
but respect is given
to those that
respect themselves
How many shells
does it take for us to
see what's at stake &
think for ourselves?
Enemys throughout, the day they very met
fighting tooth and nail, with both warrior hearts
dominance of the town, being the ultimate prize
hatred adding fuel, enlighting inferno to prevail.
My best pal from knee high, would rather do without
the confrontations hanging on him
i will call the oppostion shaun, although fine with me
thriving fear, bullying yet an awesome stature.
The fatal night in question, etched in many minds
a long long fight ended,my pal oblivious towards
a knife was placed into his hand, while recieving extreme beating
lashed out, everything stopped, pal overcome with relief.
At court not guilty verdict, the jury did return
on the basis of harrassment, and all that it entailed.
Yet families effected, can see it from both sides
loss and freedom, though my pal lives with everyday.

In Germany today, no one is allowed to
say a funny jibe, on poli-tic-ans..As it seems they have grown real thin skins.' The measures anti are quite

Harland had had enough
Twenty-three years of racing
Twelve years of giving children rides on his back.
Today his master said there would be no more rides.
They were giving him a good home. He fed him an apple.
Harland knew what kind of home it was.
He had heard about the "good home" from his cousins
Who went, and did not return in flesh form.
Only in spirit form. He nudged master for a second apple,
which he was also given.
The so-called good home was no home at all.
It entailed making room for the new horse who
had been led into the next stall secretly last night.
That poor young horse that had no idea how boring his life was
going to be for the next thirty five years or so.
Because he knew his owner was not wise enough to
pick up on it, Harland stuck his tongue out at all of them
before they led him out to the woods.
After the loud gun shot, he found himself in spirit form,
and was thrilled to see all of his cousins, brothers and sisters,
mom and dad by his side.
If he had known how wonderful the good home was, he
would have come a lot easier, and he would have never
stuck out his tongue. He began to race his cousins, flicking
up his tail, energetic, and proud, young again, and loving life!

When Wild is the Night
In the pitch of a moonless night
When dogs bark to their full delight
And stars shed their simmering shine
On greenish leaves of trees entwined,
When the hooting of howls nearby
Tears down the silence of the sky,
When ceaseless chirping of crickets
Invade the thick thorny thickets,
When wolves whine madly for their prey,
When starved lions roar not far away
And, in midst of whirling wild winds,
Deep in the heart, rises a twinge,
When the spirit is at low ebb
Woven inside a spider`s web
After demise of a brother
Stolen in prime youth by nature,
When even fairest flames of faith,
To lift the gloom, can`t carry weight,
When even the sparkles of stars
Cannot brighten the night afar,
What`s entailed to clear the darkness
Is the inner light to harness,
What`s needed when wild is the night
Is light of the soul to ignite.
Albert Einstein was renowned as the greatest scientist of the 20th century.
In fact one of the greatest scientists in history but though he was a brilliant scientist he was not perfect. He was a flawed human being like the rest of us.
He was not only responsible for developing the theory of general relativity but advancing the law of photoelectric effect.
This won him the Nobel Prize and he became the physicist elect.
He contributed much to the philosophy of science and today many on his theories are still reliant, but as a husband and father he miserably failed.
He seemed most uninterested in what it entailed.
His oldest son once said the only thing Einstein ever gave up on was him.
He married twice but they were both filled with cares,
For Einstein preferred to have simple short affairs.
Though his personal life was a shambles, as a scientist no one held a candle to this little man whose brilliance out shown any and all other scientists known.
But in this instance Einstein was not alone for through history it has been shown that most geniuses have trouble dealing with people.
John Stachel once said ,"Too much of an idol was made of Einstein. He was not an idol he was just a human being and that is much more interesting."
