I have always admire hair waves back then,
My hairstyles speak of culture far the sea...
A place I dream but I have always pen;
Maybe if not wrong, my country would be
Just like her, one day.
Visa henceforth, won't delay...
What government portray.
My swags recount past familiar legends
Of insightful pride taking love's guardian,
Haunting down ego to help all survive...
The beast of time, change and grace-- being alive.
Just as fierce as fire,
Dreams keep whole, intense desire
Burning to acquire...
My stepping while on every walk seems cool,
As though I am a peacemaker cum chaos...
That film beasts tempting forsaking wrath's tool,
Ego had long abandoned to hamas.
Just as Gaza cries,
Daily for relieving sighs...
To bring war's demise.
Only my wallet has never, not once
Envelope dollars with handy texture,
That holds transformation to trusty bunce...
Cum life cycle's change- an adventurer.
Just like chance stakes luck,
Fate's creation plays faith dumbstruck
Cum enough havoc.
My supposed tribal marks leads on dispute,
Betwixt my parents; each for a nice take
Arguing her stand of him to bail repute.
How early I am ancestral heartbreak!
Just wondering why so,
Yoruba looks Igbo pro...
My look shines aglow.
I sometimes try but obviously am
bound to more often than not fail
To hide behind my cocoon spun
silken webb of lie's
For fear of otherwise being exposed
that I doth not possess any or little
or no intrigue or mystery at all
Besides what you see cowering
dastardly in front of you here before
you now
So mistakenly I take a bow forgetting
rather I should have been curtseying
instead
But regretfully for me my head over
rules my heart
When like baby I feel trapped and
am unable to react and am forced
into a corner
As fear has stolen from me my
confidence and silenced my voice
so I dare not wish speak out
As I am so frozen statuesque dumbstruck
to the point I can not even in or through
the graceful ambient language of sign
Have the ability nor emotional depth
to display the sense of inner turmoil
pulsating through my veins down to
my core
And the reason why what not only
I but the world sees now in I is
Someone suffering from a terminal case
of Imposter Syndrome
Your pale face seen through a glass
of Rosea, lips painted,
gashed scarlet by the dumbstruck songs
of your blood.
Your eyes are a cosmic darkness
yet as bright as Samurai swords,
blades that piece both my mind
and yours.
We were discussing erotica,
how freeing it was to be bound,
how the flimsy drapes of black on white
or white on black can make the skin glow
like the soul of a virgin.
Such choreographed passions
should be a dance upon a slow fuse,
for the flash of the fire itself
is but a brief sun-flare,
and quickly
leads to meaningless words of love,
or the gagged silence of separation.
November again!
Striked euphoria, inevitable pain
clouds dry with no rain
dried are those eyes
and those mastermind lips
clichéd, dumbstruck! only losses, no gain
Little sweetums!
it's your fault,be in shame
It's November again!
January excites, May takes away
misery extends till predator's pray
reticence of melancholy, no words to say
August pours in the void
Till the fall you become paranoid
hopes were false and true fears came
It's November again!
to which it's almost an end
but with the end and the stain
Little sweetums!
It's your fault,be in shame
It's November again!
I was hiding in the shadows,
he didn't see me there.
I watched him kiss her lips,
And stroke her long dark hair.
The body language was sure,
There was no reason left to doubt.
He was cheating on me,
And I had just found out.
I was left dumbstruck, but I remembered,
He was going out each day and night.
But he always fed me excuses,
I chose to accept instead of fight.
Keeping a calm mind and body,
Refusing to unhinge,
I'll stay focused and strong,
While I plan my sweet revenge.
10 years of love and marriage,
It now seemed such a waste,
To have married this sorry loser,
I will leave him post-haste.
I will take all the money,
As you probably already knew,
The cars, the gold, the house,
And the boat, which was new.
I will get some satisfaction,
Although I may be sad and blue.
I will move on with my own life,
With a man that is true.
I am fed up of falling this failing fall
no person has fallen this far before
have fallen through the very floor
can’t force further (crack) there’s more!
How much farther can I take?
rather damaged worn down straight,
dumbstruck as to what I gravitate,
numb touch powerless to heavy weight.
Bang! whoosh the fall stops,
flying now in control at pace,
and I can’t even see the top,
but am getting out this horrid place!
acquired harsh scars my skin carved
mentally emotionally starved
my on fire heart
alike matter in stars
I matter shine light solar
shooting shredding but never over
hell bound to ground moves ever closer
then I rip out my own orbit ferocious
Confusion seeds both depression and gravity,
fresh understanding brings me clarity,
Ima mine resource fuel this mission out of me
making hard work and success a familiarity.
until finished forgetting head drops
and spaced expressions, saving face,
those glorious days long forgot,
reinvent so no longer hard to trace.
If tired and I cannot concentrate,
I’ll pace rest and accumulate
strength snowballing non to waste
desire for progress and then I’ll race!
I was raised with a warrior core,
I’ll fight to fly, glide and endure,
negative energy in procedures
to positive power of believers!
undoubtedly kick the doubt out of me
no being down and drowsy
drawing in air a surrounding sea
repeatedly thrust arms kick feet
I'm minced meat sharks can't eat
sick of the dark so light I seek
majestic hunger never weak
crowning the monarchy
my throne my seat
been battered bruised not beaten
how have I lost I’m still breathing?
claw all above til down beneath
steal my life back from the thief!
Cus if you breathe it be it,
then you'd better believe it,
you can breed it bleed it,
forever your being!
always believe,
always being,
the being,
you're being,
make being believing.
Thought I was defeated
oh please, looks deceive
Onslaught Now I’m back up
victory is believed, destiny.
I'll be what I set out to be
Chemistry, a labyrinthine topic-cum-tantalising potent cryptic art,
bane of eager scientist with half a top-notch mind and ample heart
Teachers in this field strain every muscle but knowledge has its
phoenix like bugs.
bungled shots at mastery whet an inborn urge for random hugs
At twenty two a third year paper found me in this vicious circle dumbstruck,
my blank expression shook with disbelief as I sought a golden wink from Lady Luck
Nervous giggles, comic errors, bold retrieval seldom count as fun,
but never fear, triumphant marks, percentage wise a glowing grade A one!

Reality has found its way in
A world forever unwelcome
Where have I truly been?
Is there another world into I run?
I was dumbstruck and dumbfounded
I do not register well finding... a one me
I wasn't yet I feel restricted and bounded
And I thought I am alone... how did I be?
The overwhelming world consumes and control
The undermining world assumes and corrupt
Our balance not only can we not uphold
We all chose to oppose for the better beyond conduct
Some dream to save the world
Others just want to survive
Every dream to make the world swirl
For the dream in us where worlds die
Every wanting commands a demand
The world will not die if we let go
Is there not always something we want?
Just know... reality is a never morrow
Can a god build walls on the horizon
Hang chandeliers from zeniths above
Let the ocean drain into the nadir
Turn platitudes of doubt into love
Can a god look west, to watch sunrise
Go back in time, see humanity evolve
Walk barefoot across the suns corona
Make reason, meaningless to resolve
Can a god bring order to happenstance
See through charades of pantomime
Grow vaccines on earths magnetic field
With a mere thought, distinguish design
Can a god travel faster than light speed
Cross our galaxy, in the blink of an eye
Throw caution to the winds of tomorrow
Leave us dumbstruck for pondering why
Can a god see through endless darkness
Bring a smile to a heartbroken face
Take delusion, and banish it forever
Whisper in a dying ear, your soul is safe
Can a god truly answer all questions
Is it meaningless to pen poems of trial
If a god comforts through your prayers
Who am I, to cast doubt or denial

She does not look like a Christmas witch, his uncle said.
But she is, his nephew insisted. She can make magic.
His uncle scoffed, thinking the child was being dramatic.
Christabelle walked closer and said “hello” to uncle.
His eyes met hers and he was immediately bewitched.
“I told you!” his nephew said.
His uncle nodded, realizing for the first time
That this was the beauty in his dreams.
The woman he never thought he would meet in real life.
His tongue got heavy and fell into the floor of his mouth.
He could not speak. He was dumbstruck.
“A Christmas witch!” His nephew whispered, trying to pull him away.
But Uncle was mesmerized, and enthralled.
Completely bamboozled and confused.
He was a goner.
