The Question Is

we ask oh conscience!
  most faithful friend.
you give comfort,ease,relieve, defend:
 but if for some reason my dear friend would go ;
i;ll be left with my deadiest foe.

[for our conscience tells us that
we were not put here to play to dream or to drift,
we have hard work to do and heavy loads to lift.
so
blame not the struggle face it tis god gift.
are not these days evil but whose to blame
we just fold our hands in shame,
its time to stand up speak out in gods name.
be strong- doesnt matter what goes wrong ,
how hard the battle or how the day is long
 fiant not fight on
for tomorrow comes a brand new song..
yet
hope springs eternal in the human breast
,man never is ,but always to be blessed.
know the youself ;persume not God to scam.
for the proper study of mankind is man.
the same ambition can destroy or save.
to determine weather you 're weak or brave.
honor and shame from no condition rise,
do well your part for thats where your honor lies.....

Short Slam

Slam is the creative expression of oppression
thoughts gathered from anguish and depression

energy being conveyed through words
so that the human being may be heard

the release of energy in an unorthodox way
slam expresses what the soul cant say

the problem with slam is that many times it points a finger
and negative thoughts should have been left to linger

the cycle of energy that slam evokes
is sometimes a cycle that is slammed down our throats

if words could be swallowed then slam would be it
and if poetry flowed like water slam would be thick

this is my very first slam and im "proud" of it
because this slam is expressing how slam doesnt fit :)

...........i feel like slam in my opinion releases a deceptive energy back into the world a false sense of love i feel like slam induces guilt and fear. but of course what do i know im just a human

Powerful

Feel the blood pour down
Like rain on my face
Looking up to the sky
Try to find my place

Is it here looking down
To be gazing upon you
Your corpse is the product
My hate is the feul

I let out a smile
This feeling is different
I feel in control
No need to repent it

Is this truly freedom
Or a falsified illusion
When it comes to destruction
I feel some confusion

Im powerful, capable
Able to end it
But just cause i can
Does it mean i should do it?

Its only up here,
Looking down at your bones
That i feel all this power
So i sit on my throne

The throne is of thorns though
Something not quite right
Because, though it feels good
Doesnt make this alright

I soak up this feeling
Write it into a rhyme
And ill hold myself back
Well... at least till next time.

The Other Side Where the Wind Doesnt Blow

You’ve traveled past the mountains way up high
Where the heavens above reach down and touch the sky
Above the rain where the birds fly
You’re with God who makes the clouds cry

I knew the lord had to take you away and you had to go
To reach the other side where the wind doesn’t blow

I look up and pray for just for one sign
But you are gone beyond the point of space and time
I search for you but I still cannot see
But you have voyaged beneath the deepest sea

I knew the lord had to take you and you had to go
To the other side where the wind doesn’t blow

I need your love and your helping hand
But you have crossed over the longest desert sand
I’m here alone while you are free
Taking a journey across the entire galaxy

I knew the lord had to take you and you had to go
To the other side where the wind doesn’t blow

Deja Vu

I used to care a bit before but
I really don't care much no more
You threw our love out of the door but
Feels like I've been here once before
So I really should've seen this coming

This Deja Vu
Just makes me move
Wherever the wind takes me
I really don't wanna lose
Feels like I'm coming unglued
Waiting on someone to save me

I'm just dancing in the dark
Quit tearing me apart
I'm feeling mellow
Got a broken heart
It doesnt bother me much
It just helps with the art
It gives me content and stuff

Tripping on the stars
They say it won't get me very far
But I gotta have faith
I know it's not too late
I don't need anyone to save me

This Deja Vu
Just makes me move
Wherever the wind takes me
I really don't wanna lose
Feels like I'm coming up soon
Not waiting on someone to save me

Premium Member Hold Tight

.....Lonely .....
In the end they decide im not what they want.
They become anothers memory that will come back to haunt.
Say you want me you really do
Then in the end im left feeling blue
Is there any love thats true
Why must i always be left behind
Sits heavy on my mind
Lost everytime i have tired.
In the end im the one that has cried
Love for others seem to come and go
And my lonely starts to show
When will i ever be someones one and only
Instead i sit here feeling so lonely.
Will ot always be this way.
Will i ever find the right words to say
To make someone want to stay
Will it always be
Lonely me.
thats all i seem to see
Maybe in some point and time
Ill come up with the right rhyme
Intill them ill see them walking out the door
Leaving my heart on the floor.
Arm in arm hearts ready. To soar
But all i do is fail
Doesnt do my heart so well
Seems love ,i will never find
Just memories left to remind
Lonely is the night
When no ones there to hold me tight.
Doesnt seem right

Where I’m from

I'm from a street where there is hurt
But no comfort to be found
I'm from a path where there is no such thing as hope
I'm from crossroads that dont know where they'll take me in life
I'm from a lane where redemption never reaches me
I'm from a home where there is rivalry but no peace
I'm from a world where there is hate but no love
I'm from a color that only brings shame to me
I'm from a cloud where noone notices if it disappears
I'm from trauma that leads me to my past
I'm from rejection when I need acceptance
I'm from fear when I think about my future
I'm from an orphan heart who doesnt even know who she is
I'm from somewhere in the middle of nowhere

Premium Member My Heart Doesnt Know What It Needs

trees dilly-O sing.
mellow skies surmise —
they’re not quite blue, white nor gray.

knocking in front and back —
pileated woodpeckers, shockers
with crests, crafty
to home owls and bats,
like royal courts of yore
dillydally the enemy within
mine walls.

the oaks shade their eyes,
press into my panes,
scratch during a storm,
rain on my parade.

yet, I can’t help...but adore
the pines and oaks,
ivy that wraps serpentine around bark,
wild flowers ready to leap
on ballet toes,
touch my nose with romantic scent.

so Spring,
the sachet of hidden things,
like a freeze game come to life
with intrigue, potentiality
of pairings — doves, robins,
crows and the like.

what if i could climb the tall trunk
high, below the unseen clouds —
easy does it.
my hair sailing like a pirate.
my grin foolhardy.
my heart doesn’t know what it needs.

it needs trees.

Gods Moral Obligation

I may question your beliefs
but my standard is not my own

I can not trust my thoughts
because my thoughts are not yet grown

My moral compass points to me
and I realise this truth

but you fail to realise you
also subjectivize yours too

and everytime you violate the
thoughts within your mind

you may take two steps forward
but it still sets you back in time

what may be true for you may not be true for me
living in expression is not a certainty

theres a difference between intention and living necessity
one exists by virtue the other sets you free

sincerity doesnt determine truth its a mere way to abscond
morality is coherence a truthful way to correspond

when you rise above the chains of predetermination
freewill then takes its place as Gods moral obligation

The Man I Call Dad

Theres this man I love and care for dearly, Its just a shame he cant see it quite clearly.
Theres this man whos made mistakes, but no matter what in my heart he'll stay.
Theres this man id do anything for, but he needs to realise I cant take it any more.
Theres this man whos ever so strong, but what hes doing now is cruel and wrong.
Theres this man who I hope sees sense, cause the worst thing for this is the consequence.
Theres this man who I know can do it, cause I know hes strong and he does not quit.
Theres this man that has an addiction, to different drugs not the ones on perscription.
Theres this man whos also depressed, wakes up in a morning and dont want to get dressed.
Theres this man who says hes okay, but deep down inside doesnt want to stay.
Theres this man who I call dad, really is the best dad I could have.
Ill get you there and make a plan, but you have to help me as much as you can.
I need you to listen and I need you to know, it really breaks me when I find you on the floor.
We can sort this and make it right, I know you have the will power and certainly the fight.
Just hold on and keep on trying, I know you feel as though im mivering.
But its gone to far and it will not stop, we need to get a grip of it and put you on top!
