Accepting Trails

I rely on my unflinching courage
and on my unyielding strength
fighting for virtues that instill knowledge...
until understanding dispels rage
without leaving bitterness on the breath,
or the horrible feeling of revenge!

Will the vast unknown increase fear,
will this journey be hindered by storms
and frighten me by what lies ahead?
Be it bliss, be it wonder, or be it a dread:
they'll be revealed by fate that conforms
to the measure of faith in the believer!

God sets the limit of my demises,
the perfidious path I trod on is awfully dark
and without moonlight, I stumble upon a rock
and kneeling before Him: I accept my trials!

Africa silhouette

A velvet skin, a golden glow,
Where the savanna breezes blow.
The eye is caught, a pleasant sight,
But perfection, they say, is not quite right.
If the chest holds fruits of heavy prize,
The seat is small, a modest size.
A bust that whispers
Look at me
Leaves the hips a slender tree.
Yet, if the hips do softly sway,
And the "Yansh" takes over the day,
A shelf that stands with gentle pride,
The bosom small, has nowhere to hide.
Yet in this dance of form and grace,
A unique beauty finds its place.
Each silhouette, a story told,
In patterns vibrant, brave and bold.
With strength that carries through the years,
A laughter that dispels all fears.
The elegance of every stride,
With dignity and inner pride.
No single mold can ever hold,
The many wonders to behold.
In every height and every line,
A radiant spirit starts to shine.
So walk with grace, with head held high,
Beneath the vast and watchful sky.
In every features' soft release.

Keats Nightingale

Keats’ Nightingale

The romantic poets were too early to postulate total atheism,
And so freshened up the church by aligning god with nature,
And I believe they had a preference for nature over god or theism,
Because they never posit him as social with high, tall stature.

Keats says that the nightingale exemplifies nature as active,
As bestowing upon all human beings meaning, sense and worth,
Since the bird’s song objectifies how nature truly is effective,
Fulfilled by happiness, and aimed at contentment and rebirth.

Nature triggers in us thoughts and words to settle and allure,
Offers us our language to dispel pain and find the cure,
And Keats contends that poetry, the credibility of its form,
Epitomises what nature proffers, a receptacle rather warm.

When you feel awkwardly suicidal with nowhere else to turn,
Nature lullabies you into your own sense, one you can rip and burn;
No controlled access freeways, no road signs for your safety,
Only soft, quiet communication that's never guilty of brevity.

Just as nature is beautiful, so Keats claims people as beautiful too,
As he uses the word beauty right in the middle of his nature exposé;
He referred to flora, the moon, the stars, the forest and what seems true,
Tnat song of the nightingale that's for anyone, as this bird is not choosey.

He suggests that light or positivity in nature means movement,
That the soft breeze dispels the gloom and mossy pavement;
Quantum physics does reduce matter back down to interactive particles,
In which kinetic energy can be mistaken for minuscule, motionless articles.

His mentor is the nightingale as part of nature’s whole,
No minister or clergyman to advise him on his soul,
Stillness and bird song scent his poisoned air surrounding,
And it is all but for the silence of that beauteous music, astounding.

Nature does not irritate him when he surmises and introspects,
But upholds itself in majestic grandeur with unquestionable prospects;
It speaks about life, your life, your daily happenings and exotic dreams,
And forever exists for us when sense is just not within our means.

OF THE ESSENCE OF LIFE AND LOVE
(Apropos Of 37 Years Of Onderful Onement Oneness)

The essence of you, is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
Whenever I find myself with you,
It seems there is nothing I cannot do:-

Yes, your essence is sweet life and love;
My dear angel sent from heaven above:-
The light you bring into my life,
Dispels all gloom and strife:-

You promised to leave me never;
And I, to love you now, and forever:-
Hey angel, you mean the world to me:
And I shall love you throughout eternity:

       For you are the essence
Of my life and supreme love
       My blessed angel
Gifted to me by God above:-

Under a shivery midday embrace
In a shade of algid sun's rays
a hung flamboyant, peacock flower
leaving the air agape
with their genius hues
bead petals shimmered
as gemstones lead the way
to nature's sublime dream
a soft breeze blew across trees
nurturing comfort of time
beneath a sparkling, lovelorn sky

With fortitude fetching flute tune
echoes through the valley
It signals cease of a journey
Its courteous aromas fit lovers
warmth rekindles dead twigs
nature's oasis is
vibrant and fragrant
vibrancy, stimulation
a gentle breeze carries
an intoxicating scent of flowers
enhancing sensory experience

Flames fiercely flare flowers
speckled sheen starkly studs
rosemary-blue butterfly
swirls in the air
as the Phoenix's skyline
dispels all gloom
a powerful song fills
the hallowed halls.
dreams and wishes
echo resoundingly.
Phoenix's tale of renewal
bravery and grace
is a story of vying
ashes deeming success
with poise zest
It's time for fresh
fieriness to flourish
and nothing can stop it

Winter doldrums are nearly over
restore obliterating radiance
bleak black charcoal
awakening an upward world
a kaleidoscope of colors
and a loud choir
utterly unique and dazzling light
ornamentals adorned stars
soaring high, aiming at the sky
Phoenix flight reminiscence
to achieve solace and delight
we glimpse ourselves in it.

Greatness

Greatness

Born of hearts desire
A flame of inner fire

Dies to quiet fear
Fades and disappears

Or rises like a dove
To the atmosphere above

Of contempt and envy
Where mediocrity reigns

For doth not heat rises into hovering cold
And light disperse into the black of night

Indeed so

But greatness finds a way
When guarded day by day

Encased in iron will
Protected from the chill

Burning as a glow
For they who find and know

To lock away all aspirations
Within the iron vessel of courage

For heat contained destroys the cold within
And light encompassed dispels the dark

Guard therefore

Every goal and every dream
Let your purpose go unseen

Keep it ever tucked away
Til at long last come the day

When all shall look

And see…

Greatness

The year 2017 will I not forget
at that time received really bad news
diagnosed with prostate cancer no less
shaken in my core really got the blues

But God drew near in midst of it
showing Christ is indeed my mighty rock
He brought calming peace in the situation
whispering His love in midst of my shock

When you're told you've got cancer
it takes some moments to sink in
in my case, it was just five percent
then the treatment would have to begin

But Jesus was with me through it all
proving Himself a saviour of all might
touching me in and through my treatment
so that I would know His awesome light

Now in 2018, I am much better
majority of cancer is now gone
trusting the healer to do it all
dispels the darkness before the dawn

(Recounting my experience of 2017 having been diagnosed with prostate cancer and praising God for his healing hand in touching my body in his power and now feeling much better with needing no more treatment just yearly checkups.
This was written in 2018 and now in 2023 I am still just getting yearly check-ups with cancer still under control.
Praise God! )

The Story of Promises Kept: A Father Comes for His Children

O Maker of the stars and sea,
You breathed Your life and fashioned me.
From dust to soul, from void to flame,
You called me forth, You knew my name.

I stand amazed, my heart undone,
By love that gave Your only Son.
He bore my shame, He took my place—
Now I am clothed in saving grace.

O Jesus, Lamb who chose the tree,
You died to set the captive free.
You rose again, the grave defied—
Now I am Yours, and sanctified.

You plead for me, my Advocate,
Your mercy makes my soul forget
The chains I wore, the lies I knew—
You speak, and all becomes brand new.

O Holy Spirit, breath divine,
You teach, You comfort, You refine.
You stir the truth, You light the way,
You guide my steps from day to day.

You wash me clean, You make me whole,
You write God’s law upon my soul.
You whisper peace when storms arise—
You lift my gaze to heaven’s skies.

Born again, I rise in light,
From death to dawn, from wrong to right.
Baptized in grace, I leave the grave—
A child reborn, a heart made brave.

My mind renewed, my thoughts made clear,
Your Word dispels the voice of fear.
I walk transformed, no longer blind—
Your Spirit tunes my heart and mind.

You made a vow, You did not lie,
You sent Your Son, You heard my cry.
The veil was torn, the way made free—
Now I belong eternally.

The prophets called, the promise stood,
You turned my heart from stone to good.
You came for me, You did not wait—
You opened wide redemption’s gate.

Behold, You make all things anew,
The skies, the earth, the morning dew.
Creation groans, but hope is near—
Your kingdom comes, Your reign is here.

Until that day, I walk in trust,
My frame is weak, but You are just.
Renew me, Lord, in every breath—
Your love has conquered sin and death.

So here I stand, Your child, amazed,
My hands uplifted, heart ablaze.
I thank You, Lord—my soul You’ve kept,
This is the story: Promises Kept.

The Voyage of Life: Childhood, painting, 1840, Thomas Cole

The Voyage of Life: Childhood

A gentle dawn, a tender hue,
Where innocence begins anew.
The river flows, a silver gleam,
A baby born within a dream.

The small boat sets out from a cave,
Symbol of man`s source, from earth brave,
And streams down in a weather fair
Amidst greens under divine stare.

The boat`s prow holding an hour glass
Marks dawn of life and how time pass
In the voyage of human life,
As in diverse phases man strives.

At first, a lush shore, a bright start,
Delights the tranquil, happy heart;
With eager eyes, he gazes wide,
Where future currents softly glide.

The world unfolds, a vibrant scene,
A tapestry not ever seen,
Each flower bud, each hissing breeze,
A symphony amidst the trees.

No heavy thought, no weary sigh,
Beneath the vast and azure sky;
The babe floats on, with spirits light,
Bathed in the sun's pure, golden light.

He laughs and plays, without a doubt,
As life's unfolding paths branch out.
A nascent spirit, brave and bold,
A story waiting to be told.

The gentle slope, the banks so green,
The fairest sight he's ever seen,
He trusts the stream, its steady pull,
His little world so beautiful.

No shadows loom, no darkened fear,
Just all that's lovely, holding dear,
The child's pure gaze, so clear and true,
Reflects the skies of azure blue.

The journey starts, a quiet grace,
On this serene, watery space
A time of dreaming, pure and free,
In a parental modest lee.

His heart a bud, about to bloom,
Dispels any whisper of gloom,
He sails along, with gentle sway,
Towards the promise of the day.

The river's song, a lullaby,
Beneath a vast and watchful eye,
The childhood phase, a fleeting art,
Engraved forever in the heart.
