I made the decision to leave you
I just did it..Just like that
I left you in tears with a torn heart, broken soul
And a dieing spirit
I wanted another smile from another woman i saw as a pet
just like i valued you, an occasional goodie
I was happy to turn your love die,
I murdered your passion
And now the ghost haunts me
You were an angel, i so you turn into a demon
When i left as you chose to fill my place with smoke
each day i saw your skin fade in your bones
I started looking at the veins in your skin
And your lips went dry like Egypt
I enjoyed the game, of killing you softly
I saw you illuminate from humanity,
You were a nice movie to watch, i turned the world on
And laughed at your patience
You slowly and softly breathed your last
Out of love
And entered hell
Hating the one who enjoyed your pain and hatred
I laughed and laughed
Until the dream ended and i got out of sleep
To discover it was just reality
Only that this time
It was me you were killing, softly
That's why i have decided not to give you
Another chance to kill me any more
I will let you walk away
As i discover another way out
We go through life
With dreams
And so it seems
To get answers
For the things we scheme
Sometimes we fall
And have to crawl
Leaving our dreams behind
For them to prey upon our mind
When you’re standing down that hall
Of broken dreams
Try to rise above it all
Be strong
Learn to carry on
Put yourself first
Try not to let yourself hurt
Love you with all your heart
Don’t give up don’t fall apart
Take a look all around
Hear what everyone’s saying
But don’t make a sound
Learn to stand your ground
Live by these words everyday
Don’t let them ever go astray
No matter what anyone has to say
You’ll never be wrong
If you learn to be strong
Oh yeah I know
What it’s like to be alone
To get through the night
With no one to hold
It’s so lonely and cold
You pretend to be alright
Everyone around you has been blinded by the sight
That you’re really dieing inside
And all you want to do is hide
Everything is starting to collide
As hard as it is
Put all emotions aside and
Be strong
Learn to carry on
Put yourself first
Try not to let yourself hurt
Love you with all your heart
Don’t give up don’t fall apart
Take a look all around
Hear what everyone’s saying
But don’t make a sound
Learn to stand your ground
Live by these words everyday
Don’t let them ever go astray
No matter what anyone has to say
You’ll never be wrong
If you learn to be strong
Ooh yeah be strong
God protect me
how long is left for the unknown
if life is short
in days like this ones of nowadays
where do I belong
do I belong in a dieing world
cos my soul stick to nature
were I view the troubles of
life from the mirrors
of spirituality
I wonder who else belongs
to this existing dieing world
it is developed they say
but in reality humans are
just but numbers
occupying a dieing world
God protect me
protect me from the evil
power of a chemical man
protect my soul
from polluted scientists
strangers in a natural world
eager to captivate always
never they can accept
what they offer
to us cos to rule
the world they believe
is their inheritance
so the world in turn ablaze
with their iron hand civilization
which has turned our
dignity to a nonsensical mess
till today shadows are what
we bleed
so I realized am not safe
in than hand of intelligent human
am not safe in a smart world
except if
God protect me
The dead and dieing laying in piles
carnage of the pointless war
buildings hazed to the ground
devastation where ever the eye could see
Young men and women back from the front
suffering from the horrors seen and committed
knowing they have blood on their hands
and for what!!! Certainly no gain earned.
Blindly following orders made from afar
people who have never seen the awful carnage
who sleep safe in warm beds with pleasant dreams
no deity asked for this war just the greed of man
Maybe if they had to spend a couple of weeks
fearing daily for their sorry worthless life's
amidst the wreckage that they have caused
maybe, just maybe they would stop and think again
“You’ll be sorry when I’m dead.”
Truer words were never spoken
And the death and dieing breed
in fearsome promises oft broken.
“Why cry?” We said. “See, we are here.”
Your children mother, please stay.
“Do what I say and maybe dear
maybe, I'll stay.” But still she teared.
"You’ll be sorry when I’m dead."
Her heart and ours were broken.
She'd run and hide and cry in bed.
Truer words were never spoken.
Seventy some odd years she had
Gone now, still I hear her say
"You’ll be sorry when I’m dead."
As, I wipe my tears away.
*Profound saying, "You'll be sorry when I'm dead."
A memory crosses my path, playing scenes of blues and greens, which quickly fade to black.
The darkness brings something familiar, yet sadly a sense of betrayal by the love that I now lack.
An aching from within begins to grow , creeping up slowly until reaching what's left of my heart.
It stabs me over and over and over again, I'm bleeding inside, I'm dieing slowly, I'm falling apart.
Anger tries to follow but is blocked by all the pain engulfing my soul.
I scream inside for help, I scream at the darkness, I scream to be let go.
For a moment, a small sliver in time, it retreats and once again I can breathe a deep rigid breath.
But even my breathing comes with a distant pain and reminder of of what comes next...death.
Here I am. Alone here I sat.
My mind wrapped in many thoughts.
Those I care not to have.
The ones of my life, a woman near my heart.
The pain and pleasures are like doing uppers and downers.
Feeling your hearts going burst if it don't cease.
What does one do in this case I wonder?
It's not of my heart I want destroy but loving as the man I am.
There the differculties are with being human.
Not being able to control the thoughts as they run wild.
What is it really like to live alone?
I know its lonely but how does one cope with this?
Even when their thoughts are upon things that matter.
How does the mind think or is it really the heart feeling these thoughts?
I know that's where the pain exist because its not my head that hurts.
It is the thinking of having everything you ever wanted in life.
Including the woman you love so dearly.
It is of my sucess I have accomplish even after many have robbed me blind.
It is that will to survive that keeps my fight alive.
But that of my inner being telling me that life is a lie.
That it's only a joke to live.
But there I have struggle still standing tall even when I am knock down.
It is the eye of the tiger and the roar of a lion I cry.
That of my soul just feels like screaming to the top of my lungs and falling to my knees and
saying,lord take me.
Ease this pain I'm in.
But let not life kill me nor my thoughts I have.
But make me stronger in thy ways.
But end this day and not let me wake.
For I am dieing of these thoughts and feelings I have,Please!
Somebody help me before I go insane and lose my mind.
These thoughts are crazy but of a woman I love.
That I can not stand the thought of her in others arms.
But my thoughts is I must go on.
Because I am the man I am and there's nothing I can do about this.
Except stay strong and survive until the day of my life has come.
By then,I probably be old and grey, still wondering how I'm going to make the next day.
solution is a necessity
be a part of the solution
turn down all negativity
let the revolution begin
after all we got nothing
to lose at the end of the day
if we can't stand up
who will stand for us
so buckle your shoes
of faith
set your hope on
God given energy
use the head when needed
use the heart when needed
let the revolution begin
be a part of the revolution
solution is a necessity
are you a part of the solution
are you a part of the problem
you must be a part of one
cos life bleed it so
I guess is not funny any longer
this hunger and hardships
in our third world communities
any more
we have risk it all
we have suffered it all
we have bleed it all
we have died enough
despite we are still dieing
so the youth need a chance
again are you part of
the problem or
a you part of the solution
whose part are you
cos the revolution is on
solution is a necessity
solution is scarce
now we need to make it available
we need to bring Justice back
from it obvious exile
we need to change the change
they can't change
we need to return our love
one home to work for what
they ever dream about
our continent is over populated
I guess with what ?!!
with young youth jobless
and hopeless
so let the fire of the revolution
of solutions keep burning
on the cities of destruction
and you must be part of
the problem or
part of the solution
if not then you could feel the
revolution or join it
is a revolution from the
soul
is a revolution of truth and love
is obvious we need a solution
and is neither a lie that now
solution is a necessity
Prescript: My collective works, I've titled Silent Songs/I Was Here.
Is a collection of my thoughts I put down in prose.
Whether I really was, nobody really knows.
I was left behind these doors.
Drifting endlessly on these dried up shores.
The sad thing is, I'm not alone.
I know of so many others who are unknown.
Who sail across these oceans of empty hearted sea's.
We're all slowly dieing of this by ourselves disease.
The window has a two-way mirror.
It see's outside and in.
But when no one desires to look.
You'll never know what's been.
I'll leave this world and die one day.
And what I've said, is all I'll say.
Van Gogh and me, well just maybe.
But I'll be gone, I'll never see.

I visit the apple grove I tended with love so long ago
I learned so much about life, love, patience and taking it slow
The grove was my uncles and he showed me one day how to trim
He used a ladder but I in my youth would climb from limb to limb
Carefully choosing which limbs were crowding and which were dieing
I clipped or sawed them off close but not to close as I grew strong from the climbing
Shaping the trees so the good limbs had room to grow
Inspecting the leaves for disease and bugs like a doctors exam from head to toe
The fall breeze blowing putting the trees to sleep
Preparing them for the cold and the snow so deep
My rewards were good apples we picked before fall
To be canned, frozen or packed in wood chips and enjoyed by us all
The grove is long gone cut by someone who didn't know
But the lessons of life are part of my heart and my smile as I grow
So I visit the apple grove in my memories
Thanks to you my Uncle steve
