Dear Thursday
though you are a day yet hours away,
yet let me love you.
I write to you from inside a skull
because Wednesday can be hollow and bony
as you well know.
Though you are as yet untried
I am this man of great faith,
not unlike those earlier alchemists
with their gathered elements about them,
their cauldrons and scales,
their mystic science brewing
into crescendos of disappointment, yet
always working towards one more day,
a transmutation to gold.
My heart is in an attic under a dome today
and I write this way so you will know
that love is not a stranger to me,
even though I work alone in the dark bone,
I look toward you with great love.
Dear Thursday, a bright window has appeared,
has materialized, formed I think
from these laden words.
It is full of light and delight dear Thursday,
this Wednesday has bloomed
as a lotus will from the dark mud, and while
I shall always be faithful to you
my dearest Thursday
I must go now for the sun is rising,
a bird in a golden tree sings for me this day,
dear Thursday,
and not you.
The forlorn valley seems to beckon me,
Only one cottage midst so many trees,
So many shrubs where nightingales are wont
To find repose in any place they please.
Few are those that visit the bleak, sad vale,
And hear the sweet song of the nightingales,
Their trebles with high and low crescendos.
I wonder what really are their tales.
Above many flowers they fly in glee,
Drink from sweet flowing water of a rill,
Enchant their love mates with melodies spree.
Evening comes, the sun sets behind the hill.
I wish that lonely cottage was my place,
There I would live in quiet, peace and grace.

Flitting and buzzing in a
playful, poetic dance
a whirr of delicate wings
crescendos and decrescendos
among a colorful carpet of
sumptuous, silky petals.
Daring drones speed dizzily about
barely resting, constantly competing
in a crazy chase for their sticky prize.
Swooning with drunken lust
they dream of its sappy sweetness
and long for its golden glory.
Insect tongues sip and suckle in tandem
greedily drinking with delight to the full.
Soon they whisk away with their
sticky stash to unseen combs.
And I wonder where they go
and how their delectable delight grows
in that hidden world that only nature knows.

Lento is the rhythm our hearts once beat.
Mementos we idealized from the past.
Tempos orchestrate our crushing defeat
Crescendos into what could never last.
Of course, we loved the blessed symphony
Endorsed sacred songs mutually shared.
Divorce brought along its cacophony
Forced a melody of chaos unrepaired.
Judges and lawyers pulling wicked strings
Trudges to the beat of our tragic age.
Grudges hammering the half-notes that sting
Besmudges our reputations with rage.
We shall forever cherish the sweet lento.
The easy swing of love so compliant.
Sheet music must come to an end though.
Be in separate beds lone and silent.
Deepest Heights
Weaving mountains together spinning intricate threads
moving slowly through the mosaic fabric of innocent time
the mantra enlightens self fulfilling intimate prophesies
~ Sacred texts waning waxing swelling ~
Delirious pleasure calligraphed onto skins curvaceously inked
loving crescent words ancient utterances living the dream
the lovers drink from a well of readings writings prosaic embrace
~ Blushing crescendos teasing pleasing positioning ~
Samsara imbibing union transcending for another moment
anticipating postponing awaiting in the future here and now
the flute shivers to recipient tunes of castanet flow and tempo
~ Fiery symphonies trusting thrusting combusting ~

To Being
My eyes are blurred
my vision consorted
Rocks are thrown
Keeps breaking
My windows tears, I cry water drops
shed down my cheeks
I stand in the rivers in the bottom of my feet
To my thighs I am wet by the currents water rise
They throw stones yet I am covered
Tears flowing upward to the skies
I confess I'm not worthy yet I'm warranted grace
Blessed mercy Christ has rain down on me
I stand in the populace sacrifice my Liberty
They throw stones at me and break my windows
But yet I stand strong in Him my Father's crescendos
I am covered surrounded by Him
No more cloudy distorted vision
They throw stones yet I am covered
I see beyond the blinds I'm In open heaven
Though they throw rocks at me
I am covered by my Father Elohim
They throw stones yet I am covered
Hallelujah Amen

Make a start
Not in any order
Go on the outer
Then circle the border
Fly your kite, let it soar
Do not take less, when you can get more
Never you sigh,
Or ask the reason why
Break free, break free
Glide through the rapture
Ride the torrid winds
Expand your horizon
Search for hidden things
Play your music high
Play your music low
The salient notes, the hidden crescendos
Floating and waning, entering chasms
Soar to where eagles fly
Let me shout, take me high
For brave men seek glory
While cowards choose to die
Never to gain freedom from
Failure to try
Break down the walls, join the battle
Jericho's walls were the trumpeter's cotton
As the orchestra plays
And conductor wields his baton
The fiddler tweaks his notes
To the strings of the harper's tussle
A harmony of notes
Toeing and frooing, crescendos growing
Seeds are sown and harvest flowing
Savour your journey, never to be forgotten.
In passionate embraces
Spoil me rotten.
Drink from the fountain
Take from the well
Wield your magic ,then cast your spell.
Not in any order
No rules are laid
Just make the effort
Go on the outer but don't cross the border..
Dawning Desires
Whispering apricot beams shine upon frilly sheers,
lazy shadows dance in daffodil dawn colors,
pirouettes of pleasured moments,
silently flowing on smooth brush stroke walls
You breathe, softly, the sweetest sonnet,
rhythmically exhaling beneath satin sheets
symphonic…bringing a grin to the sunrise,
blushing clouds hide behind a bashful horizon
Placing a gentle kiss upon rose petal shoulders,
you stir ever so slightly…eyes flutter like chiffon wings
hugging the pillow wistfully, floating within,
cascading between dreams of us
Exploring the mesmerizing curves of your body,
my lips touch warm porcelain skin,
the faintest sigh escapes, a smile appears
as your wispy fingers seek my own
Probing gentle folds, serene recesses of silken slivers
sipping the morn’s perfect elixir, ambrosia,
seeing your eyes wide open now
and falling once more deeply into their hypnotic beauty
Hands fondle my hair, wavy lengths, grasping
tickling heated embraces, melting into the warmth,
maple syrup cravings, sweetened stickiness in
pleasure flavored temptations
Sunshine illumines the room with sparkled effervescence,
writhing deep into the blue sky destinations,
azure visions of springtime promises kept
and green grass wanderings
I rise with you, fall with you…with this perfect time,
mirroring movements in reflective crescendos, rapidly,
as your voice sings my name, feathered pillow melodies,
an ending ovation in hummingbird inspired quivers
And you collapse, tethered breaths, tiny giggles
pulling the sheets tight to your chin playfully
I peer up, cinnamon eyes gleam, twinkle,
rejoicing as brand new day begins…in love
Good morning Soupers
Ebony skies a backdrop for salty,
sweet staccato ecstasy
a tune of elation.
Ivory limbs play out crescendos
upon seabed gems, crystalline towers,
aquamarine dreams and tortoise shell agates;
pink anemone and corals
wave-dance amid swaying
amber Carolina sands.
Octopii link arms
in a mesmerizing reel,
as scorpion tails tip-tap out rhythm
on on the cannon of a skeletal ship.
Stroboscopic eels keep the beat;
using their bodies to form lyrics.
Upon his chariot-throne of Lapis-Lazuli and Gold,
escorted by dolphins, rides the king
and festivities have begun.
It’s all good at
Neptune’s annual Briny Ball;
come dive down for some fun!
While crimson dawn orchestrated the sky,
Birds spread sweet notes at morning breeze’s rides;
As sunrise calmly croons with smile on high,
Rays kiss us tenderly with warmest glides.
Clouds tunes magically in peaceful tones,
Tree branches smooch the light in windpipe song;
Mountains and hills stand tall in rhythmic thrones,
As garden flowers sway with leaves along.
Dew drops mingle with strings of golden shafts,
Buzzing crowd preludes its rise in towns;
Chats and laughter are crescendos of wafts,
Sun’s sonata plays for our graces’ crowns.
Rejoice with daily sunrise symphony,
To make our day light, stress free and happy.
