melancholia

Almost everyday there's another problem
And I don't gotta therapist to help me solve them
I don't tell no one this, but when I was young and blitz
I'd cry alone and watch the flowers blossom

I waste my time thinking about who?
I can't sit here and pretend I'm not missing you
Told myself before you pull that trigger, think it through
Everytime I take a picture, I would think of you

I've been falling but I'm in too deep
I'd do anything to go back to when you were into me
Take me to court I'd do anything for a plea
I wanna go way back when you liked me for me

Always wondering to myself am I wasting my teens
Chasing a girl like she's one of my dreams
People ask then, 'like why don't you tell her?'
Can't just say, 'oh, it's like having my arteries severed'

Can't hear shxt because my music full blast
Didn't see it coming because my phone screen black
Ask who she was like oh yeah, she passed
She didn't really but she may aswell have

I've been falling but I'm in too deep
I'd do anything to go back to when you were into me
Take me to court I'd do anything for a plea
I wanna go way back when you liked me for me

If there was anything I could do, I'd do it for you
But that's like pulling the trigger, gotta think it through
I hope from now every picture I take, it's including you

Chasing Rainbows

Dangerous, violent, aggressive the storm;
Stuck out in the cold, seeking out somewhere warm.
I've drug my two feet through the rock and the mud;
Thought it couldn't get worse, then it started to flood.
Way of in the distance, as i started to drown,
I fought to tread water- for a light had been found!
I swam and i swam to chase after that beam;
But each time it got closer, it kept drifting it seemed.
The sharks now below me, but i can't give up now;
I cannot let go of this hope that I've found.
From a light to a rainbow it then had transformed;
A luminous beauty amidst this great storm
I imagined the place where the colors did touch;
And i yearned for the warmth it may bring oh so much.
I finally get closer, though my body is weak;
I am now unafraid of the hazards around me.
I outstretch my hand, for it's now within grasp;
I've finally found safety- protection at last!
But now that i touch it, the colors they fade;
A mirage of safe haven now swindles away.
I flip to my back to just float, and I gaze;
Lock eyes with the clouds as that dream dissipates.
My soul becomes heavy, and I start to sink;
I thought of the rainbow which now is extinct.
The water engulfs me, my lungs now collapse;
I'm done chasing rainbows, and fate takes me at last.

Premium Member Old Favorite Bicycles - POTD

(Verse 1)
Rust on the spokes but the memory shines,
Dust on the frame like a map of old times,
Handlebars crooked from corners we’d take,
Chasing the sunset down every mistake.
Scraped knees and laughter stitched into the air,
Freedom was something we didn’t know we’d wear.
(Pre-Chorus)
No keys, no clocks, no place we had to be,
Just spinning wheels and a wild, wide “we.”
(Chorus)
Oh those old favorite bicycles, rolling through our days,
Chain-singing summers in a hundred golden ways,
Pedals pushing promises down every street we knew,
With the wind as our witness and the sky as our view.
We were kings of the cul-de-sac, queens of the lane,
Riding forever, never feeling the chain.
(Verse 2)
Bell that would ring like a bright little boast,
Racing our shadows we loved the most,
Trading our stories at the corner store,
Counting loose change for a dream and more.
Tires would whisper on warm, worn roads,
Carrying secrets only childhood knows.
(Pre-Chorus)
We thought the world was a circle we’d trace,
Round and around in that reckless grace.
(Bridge)
Now they’re leaning in garages, quiet and still,
But I swear I can hear them beyond the hill—
Calling my name in a soft, spinning rhyme,
Turning the wheels of a simpler time.
(Final Chorus)
Oh those old favorite bicycles, echo in my mind,
Rolling through the roads we can’t rewind,
But somewhere in the distance, in the dust and blue,
That child is still riding, still breaking through.
With the wind as a whisper and the past in flame,
I ride them again every time I remember their name.

Mr Sorrows

One day God was suffering from sorrows
Because everyone complaining about the sorrows.

Angry god made his mind
Curse a face without any kind.

Thus sorrows became Mr Sorrows
Now Mr. Sorrows will face the sorrows.

Real world and real sorrows
Ready to welcome Mr Sorrows.

First day of new born Mr Sorrow
Will pay interest for past borrows.

By hook and cook he found
Deserted village far from crowd.

The poor knows the poor's need
So he got both without any heed.

Warm welcome was going on
Till the introduction was not on.

Mr Sorrow sang his brave tale
Myself caused all of your hell.

Destroyer of all  happiness
Thief of health, wealth and peace.

All hatred works for you i done
Because i liked pain with fun.

I seperated your dear ones
Countless time not for once.

No sooner did he stop reply
A thunder flashed in the sky.

All memories and sorrows post
As swarm of lusts recalled host.

Mind became mirror of the past
Sea of emotions ready to blast.

Uncontrolled mind and heart
Echoing revange only i want.

Blood is running in veins hard
Sound of slapped listened without gaurd.

Slapped first, kicked and hand's blow
Never tasted past the poor fellow.

Kill him! Kill him! Kill him the sound
Echoing everywhere ,forest as hound.

Catch and kill him unpleasent sound
Chasing him with increasing sound.

Mr Sorrows was running fast
 Bare feet with heavy heart.

Everyone after introduction
Threw stones without interruption.

Surgical Reflections

Days after the surgery I was not myself.
A millennium of stuttering expeditions
through metallically gleaming brain-tunnels
illuminated by a flickering
sixteen millimeter movie camera
shuttered my wandering soul.

The hospital was empty
except for one pretty nurse, and a few
demented ghosts---their exposed bottoms
gawking like beluga whales
from the cracks of ice-white gowns.

I walked the bare corridors on spindly legs
borrowed from an old horny man.
Those legs kept me chasing the pretty nurse
even though I knew the surgeon
had successfully removed my libido
and fed it to the hospital cat.

I found her as I drifted through
the intestinal coils of a prone delirium.
She stood before a brick incinerator
its iron door gaping wide.

The oven fumed, fed it seemed
by the desires of spectral dreamers.
The nurse undressed
throwing her uniform into the fire.
Blowing me a kiss
she jumped silently into the flames.

‘I must be out of my mind’ I thought.
The person who was not myself
turned, seeking a bed
where tubes dripped a steady flow
of surreal cravings.

That night I strapped a laptop to my eyes;
then tucking my tail between my legs
I wrote a love letter to the hospital cat.

Me and the Tiger

I was sleeping with my childhood
    friend in the loosed cot.
 The weak boy was recovering from
    two months long typhoid's knot.

    November night not so hot
    But pleasant time stayed a lot.
    The nightmare began with
    Running and shouting of villagers
    From hill side to their nests.
   Unfortunately It was the daily routine
   From home to hill after a night's rest.

    A roaring tiger with red eyes
    Was chasing them to get more cries.
    Villagers were healthy and strong
    So they can run fast to save their lives.
    Feeble can't compete them in race
   So it was me who was going to be prey.

    The real chase in false world
    I ran as fast as i could
    But damn tiger had more power
    If trees can hide they certainty try
    Perhaps the devil's eyes forgot to blink
    So i have to climb up
    But the damn followed me.

   When I saw danger without think
   Jumped from the thin boughs
   And ran towards the high wall.
   The clear warning was written there
   ' Be aware of dogs ' but who read and care
   By hook and cook i climbed on wall
   Seeing the dogs i recognised my fault
   The danger was on both sides
   So without thinking i turned back twice.

   Trembling and sweating in cold night
    i was neither living nor dying
    Silently pray my lord to save my life
    Got blessed very soon
    Opened eyes in full moon
    Relaxed when found in the cot
    Lying beside the buddy as ice hot.

   That horrible night
   Me and the tiger
   Played hide and seek
  Closed eyes the tiger chase
  Opened eyes friend beside
  But thank the Almighty
  Who saved me with all priority.

Summer Nights in the South

Green fireflies blink in the quiet of night

and our sleeping old dog heaves a sigh.

Dreaming, she sprints through a youthful blue sky

chasing delicate clouds, cotton-white.

A red-sunset tanager* colors the warm air

from a perch in the majestic oak limbs above

professing by lullaby, sincerely devoted love,

like some sublimely recited evening prayer.

I lay back and smile, through the leaves, at the moon

to the sound of crops rippling in the breeze

thinking how precious are nights such as these

when alone, with the Earth I commune.

*Summer Tanagers (Piranga rubra) are native to the southern U.S. but are not true tanagers. They are actually members of the cardinal family.

Deep inside where shadows lounge
True love was lost no magic found
That fleeting thought run now it's not too late
Never fathoming his deceptions so great

The magic once encompassing both
not knowing how far afield he'd go
One content with passions flash
The other forever chasing **ASS**

Both now knowing somethings not right
Could it have been his continual lies?
Trust in her he failed to do
That lack of such - he respected few

Passions dimmed and flames went away
Both responsible for the path they lay
Question, curse, fight till dawn
The demons inside released for none

The trick to regain the Sorcerer's touch
So simple even wee people would gush
Stop seeking that which you should not attain
The searching causes both great pain

Be humble and love that one you have
Or all for naught be forever sad
Stop looking seeking far afield away
Or else true love will fade away.

Premium Member Anchored To Her Soul

Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu had a surreal journey through life,
inspired by a vision.
She left her home in the rural countryside
of Albania and went to Calcutta, India,
a place lost to time.
The established traditions of the people
included ones of casts, servitude, and privilege.
She witnessed wanton cruelty
and bigotry openly displayed.
Among the crowds, she saw starving children,
untouchables, with bloated bellies begging for food
as scorn and laughter mocked their pleas.
And she made it her mission in life
to help as many of India’s poor as she could.
She was appalled that another’s pain could trigger
such barbaric behavior.
Fear forces a self-imposed silence
that unwittingly enables bigots and bullies.
So, we look the other way and shamefully walk away.
We have little love for strangers,
even though Jesus asked us to
love thy neighbor as thyself.
Most humans are a selfish lot,
chasing the almighty dollar no matter the cost.
Most, perhaps, but not all, have severed their souls
from their hearts; there are still a few tethered to both;
the ones we call Saints.
Mother Teresa was one, firmly anchored to her soul,
she held her ground until the day she died;
choosing not to walk away.

The Black Cross

I SPOT a lofty black cross
Standing conceitedly on a rock-strewn mount,
Where nothing akin to a tree can be seen,
Murky clouds hovering over it,
It is on this cross that she will
Sacrifice me for the sake of love

I OBSERVE dry as a bone grass,
That left chasing precious emerald existence
Because the master of life-rain
Could not depart the lucrative comfort of cloud nine
To reprieve underprivileged earthlings;
As the sunburned grass sever to shreds,
I perceive her love for me fading
Radically till nothing of it remains,
She tramples upon me unfeelingly

WHEN I raise my eyes to meet up hers,
Tears COURSE down my cheerless cheeks,
In her face I discern weariness, withdrawal.
She appears dull and outrageously sorrowful-
Conceivably I am a great irk to her,
She cannot let me feel her lips once more.

NOW alone I contemplate smoke rising,
I bathe myself in the glee of solitude,
Shrewd that hours of night must go a way
Paving way for hours of dawn that must also go a way;
That the putrid soul of mine
Possibly will one day be rapt and inspired
Though she has departed from me
