Have you ever started at the bottom
And was wondering how you will make it to the top
You couldnt see it
Your vision blurred
Seems like all your obstacles occurred
What did you do
You faced them
Dr King had a dream
He said chase them
So you stop sitting
And there was no quitting
A whole lot of go getting
No longer in silence
Let your voice be heard
You can fly
Be the courageous bird
Dont give up
You can do it
Just put your mind to it
He chose love
Somehow lots still choose hate
How can you relate
We should build each other up
If its to much
Lessen the cup
Know what you are worth
Sometimes it takes alot
To turn the other cheek
Dont get it twisted dosent make you weak
It makes you courageous
No matter the stages
"The ultimate measure of a man
Is not always where he stands"
Dr King knew the plan
He spoke his truth
He did it for all of us
Tried to protect the elderly and the youth
He didnt choose violence or silence
He chose to stamp it and had the world behind it
He left his mark and his legacy
He left room for unity , equality ,he left room for apologies
He left room for you to right your wrongs
He left room for us to overcome
And to become one
One nation, one sound
Tilt your head put on your crown
Left visions
Made decisions
Exercised our rights
He didnt want to dim our lights
We are smart, we do our part
You see he never saw color
He saw the characteristics
We can Change the world
Come on let's fix it
Never give up on your dreams
Turn them into a reality

One day
When we all thought Saturday was a depiction of the sky raining with birds..., singing..
Blue as the day comes with heat..., ready to call itself a sunny day
My loved one received a call...
Her father has just passed on
A phone call that changed the flavored air that was in the room that had bottled up oxygen made up from the amount of deep breaths taken by the thought of perfecting a goodbye
One day..., One of us...,will cover the cost of a funeral with more than just groceries and R200 airtime
My love...,
there could never be forever's here, So you will have to hang up..
God is on the other side of the speed dial
I have never lost a parent before..
All my life I have watched those who are near and dear to me trade a touch for memory
So Dear Mother
Before you pass on I will marry this woman
and together we will spread and stretch the branches of our arms to keep her warm
I will believe in rituals, I will believe in the forever part
I will believe in the story of two souls conjoined in one body...,
you will live in her eyes
Dear Father
our timeliness do not have eternity printed at the back of the book, so I am coming Home, the smell from a dish death prepared for us has made its way to my kitchen

I love you
There are dreams, other dreams, and there are nightmares. Dreams really do have something to say, and if able to capture them upon awakening, we are well served by them. There are dreams from God* whereby He is speaking to us, and there are other dreams
in which vagueness covers their message. Oh, did I mention there were dreams that turn into nightmares? Anyway, that's another subject for another time, but blessed of God and wiser by far are those who know and understand the difference. For example, I will often dream and forget the dream or a dream is too cloudy and scrambled. And then, there are dreams that one cannot forget and will not go without attention. I had a dream last night that was short and to the point envolving a person that seemed out of character, and the portrayal of that person in the dream was very defined and real. In this case, I suspect the message in the dream is not so much about the person as about the characteristics displayed which points to matters of importance in the lives of everyone. In these types of dreams, I try to discern what The Lord might be showing me and for what purpose. In this dream, I concluded that God was saying, "Take note and see to it that you beware and avoid the following": Avoid being Distant, Disconnected, Distracted, and Detached; Avoid being Rushed; Avoid being Indirect, Indifferent, and Irritable; Avoid being unstilled, unsteady, and unfocused. Such flaws permeated the person in my dream. It appears that God was using a dream to remind me to be unlike the person I saw in my dream. Indeed, God often speaks in mysterious ways.

Our personal characteristics
So necessary to who we are
Others may think them strange
But we do them ,no matter how bizarre !!
I thought it would be good to share
So I will tell you mine
Just two of my many strange quirks
Please leave all judgements behind!!!
No matter whether it’s hot or freezing cold
Every night when I am in bed
I need to have a fan on full blast
Blowing cold air on my head!?
I cannot drink a full hot cuppa
I “have” to leave nearly half the drink
The thought of actually drinking the rest
Makes me physically sick …..a mental thing I think!!?
Please feel free to share your strange traits with me
No matter how extreme
The only thing I ask of you
Is please just keep it clean!!!

I am a slender looking sea bird having forked tails,
long hooked bills and a white under belly.
My genus is marked by sexual dimorphism.
My mate tries to do so many wonderful things so that
I would fall for him.Likewise,wonderful courtship display allows me to do a perfect selection and hang on to an everlasting relationship.
Possessing fantabulous stamina and striking feature~
he inflates his red gular throat pouches like heart shape,kept drumming love call untill I became impressed.
Each male took turn to out do each other ..
But, I loved him at first sight attracted to his musical performance.Aah..he looked magnificent with puffed chest.Shortly we engaged.He gave me a cozy nest to rest.
We, at times perch on tree tops at night for romance.
Being aerial ~he soars throughout the day
hunting for food and late night he comes to me.
Essentially categorised as kleptoparasite ~either we catch other birds or snatch food from their savings.
Swooping down to feed on squid and fish he is often attacked by our predators tuna or dolphins and chased to the surface.
I worry for him untill he is back home.Once he's back we enjoy, care & fulfill each of our desires.
Laying single egg, each year we relish the experience of parenthood every breeding season.

I`m not racist.....but
words that:
inflame.
words that:
causes pain.
words that rises anger inside-
and all that is left is,
shame.
deluded are those,
who think it means nothing-
and saying those words
doesn't hurt one who looks different-
but that some-one is the same inside-
as you and me.
because;
they might have a different outlook
because;
they might have a different view
does it mean can we look down on them?
because;
we are dealt a better hand-
does it mean we are better than them?
-if we are cut, don`t we all bleed?
living life in blinded fear,
you try to justify your words
but-
those words,
just condemn.
behind your patriotism lurks the dark,
and the darkness swallows the rainbow.
your ears, hear words -
they only want to hear.
and monocolour, the only colour-
your eyes want to see.
the fact`s clouds your single mind
and you selfishly want your idea of a utopian world.
It's a place where people are judged on their
physical characteristics-
and not their mental ideology.
a place that has no trespassing if your
red, yellow, black or brown.
so let us erect a wall
a wall that blocks out reality
a wall that silently say`s
"this wall is built upon hate and ignorance"
in a place that says "you're not as good as me
so you're not welcomed"
a place that judges colour superiority
and only those that win can come in.
you say that wall is to protect us from them
but it protects who from what?
that's the big million dollar question
The Lord Jesus Christ brings His merciful grace
this grace of God is gifted and free upon all
God's righteousness at Christ's expense no less
for guilty sinners so they need not ultimately fall
God has many characteristics as our father
showing His great love so eternally full
this is displayed in Christ's sacrificial obedience
dying for sin this saviour our blessed jewel
The holy spirit comes down in sweet communion
to fill us with His spirit so evidently pure
this is a blessed privilege only for selected few
to know God in spirit convinced to be sure
This is God's benediction so fully complete
coming upon his people such are blessed
what majesty displayed in all His attributes
now to be still and enjoy His eternal rest
