Where to start?
Asleep is the hope of mine
In the shadows of my dreams
The crimson curtains have collapsed
And are cemented to the floor
Entombed behind the stage
Petrified
Where to start?
Ardently athirst
For my music to become a reality
Are there any more enduring rays
To blaze this shroud and open the pathway
For this song to be born
Upon the heavens, hear my call
How many tears have fallen?
I am only just a dim shade
Once bright
Arching across the sky
Wishing upon the moon
Wishing upon the stars
The song of light
Awaken me from this night
Thunder and Light help
Replenish my heart and mind
Energize my ai’s
Revive me from the tomb of stone
Loan me thy sight
Enthroned with thy might
Eroding this mountain of rubble and turning it into sand
So, I may peel medusa face from my form
To be reborn
How many tears have fallen?
I am only just a dim shade
Once bright
Arching across the sky
Wishing upon the moon
Wishing upon the stars
The song of light
Awaken me from this night
To stand on holy ground
With a new coating
Of majestic color
And armor burnished bright
My yearning invocation
My yearning benediction
With the breath of life
Burn away the scar
See a cherish diamond star
How many tears have fallen?
I am only just a dim shade
Once bright
Arching across the sky
Wishing upon the moon
Wishing upon the stars
The song of light
Awaken me from this night
How many tears have fallen?
I am only just a dim shade
Once bright
How many tears have fallen?
I am only just a dim shade
Once bright
Arching across the sky
Wishing upon the moon
Wishing upon the stars
The song of light
Fight
You got this
Fight
You got this
You got this, so fight
You got this
So fight, fight, fight
(Wooooowwwwooooo)
You got this
(Wooooowwwwooooo)
I’m in the position of a responsible orphan
I’m left with no plan…abandoned
I turn aside from being caught up in denial, though I’m stumbling
upon affliction and bafflement, entangling me in its web
These unkempt, cemented words—they are strapping
The griminess searing through my skin and bone
I’m left in the chambers of my words
How can I talk myself out of this position?
They are cemented to my soul,
decaying in debris…chained to envy and fear
I write down my experiences with cemented ink
My fear-binding words weigh me down,
cemented with bewilderment
My toes trickle with grime…my life is but a frown
My body becomes weak… leaving me with a print
My depression dunks my head down
I write down my feelings with layered ink
Decaying in filth…chained to fury and terror
Chipping my soul…peeling away everything I adore
I am demolishing along with
my last lick of luck
How can I get out of here?
I’m left to find my own way out
The draftiness singeing through me…goose bumps
leaving scars of tousled emotions—they are strapping
These portraying words crawl in my cranium…
Perturbing my every thought
Abandoning all the doubtless hopes…entangled with uncertainty
My worries are shot
With ink…
blotching my heart
I’m unprepared on my flight
I’m in the position of a bewildered orphan…
lost in the ink-cemented night
In the beginning we all longed,
To be in comfort’s arms, held strong.
Never to be too far too long,
But we all have fallen, gone wrong.
Now as you pray with faith today,
For holy trust to obey,
And follow Christ who is the way,
You know that life is great!
With every breath you exhale, intake,
And each unending vow you make,
Cemented and set to never break,
Your joy won’t fade nor ever shake.
Your life’s experiences from before,
Tell you that there’s always more,
For your growing heart that soars,
On the glory of the Lord.
So as a rule, rule out the bad,
And everything that makes you sad.
In time you’ll find you’ll feel quite glad,
For everything that’s right is rad!
Be blessed, be smart, be clean, be true,
And most of all be you, yes you!
Someday all you want will come true,
And even then you’ll have more to do!
Concave Reasoning
he seemed a bit demented
then again, his head was dented
yet he tried his best – and meant it
once they got his head cemented
some said he was tormented
his thoughts too long fermented
inside a head once dented
yet only recently cemented
he seemed to be contented
in a world disoriented
and he never quite repented
for the thoughts he only rented
so that he could present it
mental cash – he quickly spent it
on reasoning augmented
with logic yet unscented
so his teachers all lamented
these theories he invented
after all – his head was dented
only recently cemented

I changed
the locks
on our place
.. yesterday
I was
physically
and metaphorically
changing
the locks in
the place
I live inside
unchaining
The hold
you had
on me
Then
readjusting
my safety
So you
couldn't
roam free
Coming
and going
inside
my head
protecting
the soft spots
that are
now cemented
with the
epitaph
that read
You once had
a place
inside
my head
But now you
don't have
the key
because now
you are dead
take that
place
You
once had
inside
my head
and
dig a hole
then
shovel dirt
over it
then
walk
away from
that
burial plot
and
breathe
a sigh
of relief
and think
to myself
now im
eternally free
because
you don't
have a key
and
now you are
dead to me
(Omg try to write with a new puppy chewing your toes)
There are secrets to be uncovered in the rain forest
Something mushrooming from a medicine tree.
What goes on in the woods, and Jungles? -
While we hustle -- bustle.
Pacing the pavement like ants...
Never to become one with mighty trees.
The buzz saw and blades -
Working to create another beautiful mall.
I am stifled,can't breathe.
These earthly home wreckers are earth disturbers:
My environment is clinging, on holding on for dear life.
Rats share space with me.
Viruses fill the air on subways.
Yet right here on this small planet;
I once could tap tonic from trees.
But now earth is choking, she’s crying "I cannot breathe".
So, many secrets to be uncovered in the rain forest
Something mushrooming from a medicine tree;
Could cure us, yet I am forbidden to reveal.
I am afraid, I may never get to feel the cleansing of a forest breeze.
I chant ... to feel that which has left my womb and disappeared;
May summon the spirit of unknown secrets to come
Enter my energy field.
Take me to the place where I may see streams of pure water;
Hear the callings of ancient voices... and play in red clay...
Molding clay pots, and weaving fabrics on my loom.
There are secrets that could mend us.
With knowledge of leaves, roots– Red dirt, and water.
We can know of all things that lie in the thick.
Steaming lakes- instead of cesspools,
we’d have tonic water, and mushroom juice-
We never had a chance on these cemented grounds.
Pacing back n forth like ants; Killing habitats, and creating havoc.
Can you plant a small tree in Manhattan, for me?
For her, for them.
They put us here, and now they leave.
Wealthy folks, head for the hills and mountains,
bathe in natural fountains.
Now it’s them that are draped in gold and Amber-
Put a damper on our habitat. Plundered all the earth.
Replaced grass with turf.
While my bare-feet know not the grass, nor soil.
Stench and debris arise from pavements in boiling heat.
Blocking the charge,
that would release this
negative energy from my feet.
I as myself as did countless other folk
I witnessed today
Going about our daily mundane day
to day chores
Passed through the square where
a man stood there with unkempt
disregard for his very own personal
grooming
Underneath a sign he had himself
wrote on a piece of cardboard he
had obviously dig out the trash
He held up with both of his hands
as high as he possibly could above
head so everyone was able to see
With a message displayed on it
which read
Keep calm and carry on regardless
We have all of us got this under control
Our role is simply rather to not to question
but follow
Everything we are told by the power's
that be that are currently in charge of
the future of all us
And no matter however implausible nor
insane they seem or appear
Know this 1 thing for sure trust and
believe at the heart of every single
decision
They might make and be forced into
take they sincerely do on all behalf
Is with both heavy and our very best
interests at heart
Otherwise ask yourself this why on
earth would we have taken the decision
in the 1st place
To use you and offer you up as merely
sacrificial pawns unless we didn't initially
think we could or thought you wouldn't
let us get away with it
But so confident are we and cemented
in our beliefs that you are so inherently
stupid
We took a vote on a show of hand's and
it passed with such a majority
We then all though unto ourselves
oh what the hell let's give it a go
What is the worst possible outcome
that could happen
Much like every and other day before
and tomorrow again
Their smiles , citizens, unafraid to so do.
Is what brought me back to San Francisco.
I’d get inane ideas , that Chicago was better.
But once back there,I loathed the weather.
Being a Chicagoan, born, I had many warm ties.
But my heart beat only, for San Francisco skies.
I longed to hear the magical cable cars ring.
It seemed my suitcase, in the closet, to that tune , would only sing.
One New Year’s Eve in the midst of an icy snowstorm ,
At a party, I announced. I was moving
back west, to where I belonged!
My dream was met with angst and derision.
The more people said, “No”, they really
cemented my decision.
The decades like a zephyr train , simply
whizzed by.
And I have lived here and met incredible
people under California skies.
Sunny skies, those western, smiles, are a
year round event.
And as my grateful days, come to close,
I pray to heaven, I will be sent!
I live in the ether, the place I know
where thoughts of heart and mind do flow
in a conscious state of epiphany
where intelligence lives in harmony
from this place the sources of task
to direct my body to do as I ask
I find I’m not always in full control
of what is residing inside of this soul
The rarest of gems therein resides
where our own cognition abides
exquisite delights are there to be found
to make sure our thinking is sound
Firmly cemented with it’s epoxy
not dedicated to orthodoxy
the place where one can search for the truth
about the things we learn in our youth
This system of things is so full of lies
and to see through them one must be wise
the beliefs that history has handed down
holds firmly in grasp its blinding resound
I find in it’s closets things I must clean out
that overshadow my heart and it’s doubt
the war that exists inside of man
that damages things within reach of his hand
The source for all kindness and it’s living balm
and when we face conflict for keeping us calm
for understanding all of this life
for making peace when meeting it’s strife
So many colors with varying hues
herein is where I first found my muse
painting it’s pictures on tapestry mind
weaving it’s patterns the ethereal kind
Each of us has been given this gift
and to it’s sharing for others to lift
a vast chasm and depth in this well
for composing design and doubts dispel
source of insp Proverbs 1-5 on thinking
ability, understanding and wisdom

No one wanted to get to know her.
She’s a Pandora’s Box waiting to happen!
This intrigued me; I ran toward her.
Loving the challenge of it.
She was not easy; had been a recluse for years.
We became friendly, friends, eventually best friends.
She was not easy to unleash,
She had cemented herself inside.
When her husband died she had stopped living.
Forcing herself into a barren cave, a cell actually.
It was not a gentle process to remind her of her humanness
Luckily I am a party animal, and was up to the challenge.
I dragged her out of her darkness,
I forced her into trying new things.
I became her advocate and champion
Until she eventually championed herself.
Then I let her go, but not easily.
She and I are still best friends.
She now travels and does daring new things
Without my aide; and I am ever so proud of her.
