Soaring On Glory

In the beginning we all longed, To be in comfort’s arms, held strong. Never to be too far too long, But we all have fallen, gone wrong. Now as you pray with faith today, For holy trust to obey, And follow Christ who is the way, You know that life is great! With every breath you exhale, intake, And each unending vow you make, Cemented and set to never break, Your joy won’t fade nor ever shake. Your life’s experiences from before, Tell you that there’s always more, For your growing heart that soars, On the glory of the Lord. So as a rule, rule out the bad, And everything that makes you sad. In time you’ll find you’ll feel quite glad, For everything that’s right is rad! Be blessed, be smart, be clean, be true, And most of all be you, yes you! Someday all you want will come true, And even then you’ll have more to do!
