People say there’s a reason for everything,
But somehow you don’t see the reason in me.
You know I’m tropical, just like you,
What reason will you give to your monsoons?
We all break down, and that we should,
Whenever currents turn stormy and clouds blue.
You taught the manners – it’s impolite to ask
Something that I can’t get out of my heart.
You shouldn’t push, nor should you pull,
Nor should you force an action of nature’s rule.
Because I won’t speak doesn’t mean you should go
It takes time to gather a heart broken long before.
Please don’t – I pray you please don’t go,
Maybe that missing piece is you and you alone.
The ugliness you feel in every moment I scream,
Is your unwillingness to see the bitterness I feel.
I tried to stop the tides with my bare hands,
But water will one day flow over once dry sand.
You say people won’t love me if they see me this way,
But is it truly love if you can’t hold me while I break?
August 16, 2022 Scripture Meditations Based on Daniel 7-12
Key Verse – Daniel 9:18 O my God, incline thine ear, and hear; open thine eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by thy name: for we do not present our supplications before thee for our righteousnesses, but for thy great mercies.
MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR BEHOLDING MY DESOLATION
Thank You for beholding my desolation and adversity
Not hidden from Your omniscient sovereignty
Indeed actually exposed midst sins’ obscurity
For my spiritual prosperity.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and anguish
Not remote from Your tender mercies, iniquities can’t extinguish
Indeed truly near midst hatred causing soul to languish
For my mind to discern folly and then ignorance, distinguish.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and loneliness
Not distant from Your loving kindness
Indeed constantly ready midst bitterness’ gloominess
For my joyful eagerness.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and boredom
Not blurred from Your bright wisdom
Indeed radiantly glowing midst dark earthliness’ kingdom
For my heavenly bliss toward eternal freedom.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and failure
Not far from Your victorious gesture
Indeed triumphantly successful midst losses’ closure
For my divine cure.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and affliction
Not covered from Your great compassion
Indeed abundantly bountiful midst sorrows’ reaction
For my ministerial jubilation.
Thank You for beholding my desolation and discouragement
Not blocked from Your inspiring involvement
Indeed actively helpful midst sad predicament
For my fruitful betterment.

I don't want this—kindness!—she utters with bitterness,
like a storm breaking out unexpectedly,
may the heirs remain in the secret abyss,
prodigies of the stars that dance in the night sky,
brothers of darkness that embrace silence,
servants of the moon that watches over sleeping dreams.
Why must one yield to the other,
when both can coexist like two flowing rivers?
On the hem of my ancestors’ garment,
adorned with stories woven through time,
in the kingdom of my heart, a hidden sanctuary,
let there be neither flicker of light nor drop of life,
nor traces of the vines that bind earth to sky.
May this realm remain a beacon of lineage,
an indelible dream from minds, a sanctuary of shadows,
where stories intertwine with the dawn's light.
Leaving behind only echoes of unfulfilled desires,
like whispers on the gentle evening breeze,
in this world where duality dances,
like two flames in a silent and eternal symphony,
souls find their balance in embrace,
like two stars meeting in the vast sky.
And perhaps, one day, we will all understand,
that between light and darkness is a sacred space,
where hearts sing their eternal tale,
a harmony of existence enduring through time,
a song that resonates beyond time and space,
a bond that can never be unraveled.
Where did all the sunny days go?
I feel my Soul tell me it knows
Howbeit I’m constantly chasing shadows
Through bravado and deepening sorrows
Endlessly I hear life's soprano
Though it sounds empty and disturbingly hollow.
My Soul tells me which rainbow to follow
Daily however, I live in this empty burrow
Not listening to you tell me which way to go
For I am lost in the depths of my restless mind
Mine eyes are blind as I push you behind.
This is the life I created with strife
Running away and bitterness rife
These are the times I chased after to find
The challenges constantly here in my life
And I hear you speak to me in the night
For I feel a trembling and I see the light
But I question is this even right?
How do I know you my Soul knows?
When I have been playing this Comedy Show.
How I live my life the same everyday
Look at the people around me I say
They also travel over shameful and blame
Nothing much changes
This is no hall of fame.
Spinning on wheels of empty emotion
Trudging and turning over spills of devotion
For should I let be all this tribulation
What will I do, if I listen to you?
I am coming to see you dear, I have no time to spear, I am coming out of the shadows of doubt to find out what this thing is about, I want to experience a brand new tomorrow and leave the darkness behind me as I journey towards the pinnacle of hope to fulfill my destined journey.
The sun has dried the moisture out of the clouds and summer is on the run, the birds are going east, west, north and south and the wilderness with its forward premonition is lock with time near the ocean of the divine, while autumn waits patiently under the bush for the perfect time to cook.
The guests are pouring into the town and there is preparation all around, the kitchen staffs are running in and out with trays loaded with fresh baked cakes and bread, they arrange them neatly on tables in the halls and hungry people are getting ready for a ball.
It’s is more than a treat for the hungry people roaming the street; there is lots of food around so excises some manners before you go inside, don’t eat more than you can manage and don’t be a glutton you will have more the next day and what is there is just for today.
I am coming out of this town and shake the entire demon to the ground. I have broken the ropes and chain and flush the portion down the drain.
I have pulled up the whist from around the plants and prepare the land to make a brand-new start, the bad energy is exorcised from the property and the bitterness they throw into the gate is sent running down the lane.
The bad men have left the town and summer is walking around. The heat is rising and the country girls are singing, they are getting ready for a brand new beginning.
I am locked up in a strange place and I am sandwich between the walls and the gate, the brazen sun is approaching the hill and my heart is singing a strange rhythm and I want you to listen in.
My heart is connected to the ground listening to the melody of a familiar sound but time continues to move around to defeat the origin of that dreadful sound.
I have evolved.
some ladies are annoyed
because boys will be boys
they call it toxic masculinity
based on logic they think they see
feeling there is a need
to teach us boys
how we should be
and that means more pleasant
than we are presently
they say that because they know more
that’s what they say but I’m not too sure
believing they’ve been sent to save us
from our ghastly horrid behaviours
when really they should go away
or understand the way we play
cus they see nastiness in us
interactions torturous
that we banter just because
that's the way been taught to us
by the older males who are horrible
according to these women fools
who fail to understand the difference
between hurtful and hate filled speeches
and banter with our near and dearest
for laughter to make an appearance
through their eyes it’s all just weirdness,
but then again they’ve got no shlong
they ain’t men so they are wrong
don’t like what you’re looking at move along
men and women are not the same
we use humour we call names
while you judge us like we’re insane
then interact just to complain
and tell us our ways can’t remain,
I think you might have half a brain
please remember
we’re different genders
and you can’t mend what you ain’t been
just go on home luv and flick your bean
then try and learn to understand
that men don’t flick they hold in hand
we’ve very different parts on us
and banter isn’t harming rough
because it’s humour look that word up
then look up the word retardedness
that’s you little Miss Marvellous
as you have never been a boy
next time when you feel annoyed
coming our way with your noise
is not a very clever choice
no patience left for your stupid voice
boys will be boys
and since you ain’t one
Bugger off!!
Girls fight behind each other’s backs,
Why don’t you concentrate on that,
not like boys who go face to face,
no, because women prefer to be two faced,
honourless bitterness and all a fake,
behaviour littered with mistakes!
Understand your flipping place!!
A voice of pure honey
Too bad you have that face
Busking in this alley
Seems an appropriate place
You are so skilled
Woodcarving is in your soul
Without that wheelchair
You could be free to go
....where words don't cut
You ruin everything
Can't keep a secret to save your life
You're a waste of breath
So sickly, you might as well die
Bitterness runs in your veins
Hate spews out of your mouth
Violence in movement
Stop breaking sound
....where melodies settle dust
Lazy, worthless, lay about
Go find something to do
Depression has no pill
The streets are calling you
No vision, no hope
You're a blob of wasted space
You screwed up my life
I had "a place"
....where matter makes tattoos
Little baby with sketches
As deep as a ravine
Don't allow those wounds
To have the power to mean
Liars are sprinkled
Along life's walking path
To prevent authenticity
From having the courage to take back
TRUTH
...where TRUTH restores soul

Lurid looks have been thrown at me
Deadly daggers sent to pierce my heart
Why do some insist on acting beastly
waging war in attempts to tear me apart?
How long can I go on pretending I'm not in pain
hiding my tears by calling them emotional rain?
I need compassion but I'm afraid to ask
so, I conceal my trauma behind a face mask
There's an art that some have honed,
weapons sharpened to break my bones
Not the kind of childish chiding of 'sticks and stones,'
but those spoken with bitterness and taunting
The kind that fires torpedoes from torrid tongues
flaunting their ire and desire to wound me in a fight
with words that shatter like shrapnel in flight
A flame throwing pen, firing splotches of ink
to pierce my skin, tattooing me with their brand
Mark me as 'prey,' shooting as if in reprimand
Just enough to keep me flinching... not quite dead
They laugh it off, calling it 'friendly fire'
No excuse accepted from those who conspire
No burning steel rod can cauterize my wounds
I cannot anesthetize the festering gashes
A sharp-bladed tongue bites much too deep,
making my blood flow in repeated clashes
No mere prick or scratch do they inflict
as thorns draw drops from a finger opened bare...
foul words end relationships with a bullet's nick
I still breathe and I've no fear to speak
I've been set free, and no longer weak
My tongue holds daggers of its own
and it's been whetted on a grindstone
I hungered for strength and parched with thirst
to take vengeance as my anger grew
Emotions boiled that were long past due
but felling them would label me a wrong doer
which is something I never want to be
Vengeance will never be mine to take
realizing that is what set me free
Emotionally, I was a casualty, a tragic story
about pens and mouths becoming an allegory
Symbols used as extended metaphors
But why is it I was being targeted in wars
by Gollums and Freddies, and evil Chuckies?
Shrapnel lodged in the heart leaves jagged scars
The world is full of violence, death, chaos and so confusing
And it seems that in most of us our minds we are losing
But there is this one thing that I want you to take to heart
That no matter what's happening in your life you are important to God
Now God can't come down to earth and fix things with His own hands
So He puts us in positions to carry forth His plans
Yes, God sent us a play book perfect in its commission
He just wants us to remember what is our position
To be in that place where we have the ability to receive the Holy Spirit
Positioned in that place where we are strongly connected to It
Now able to download the anointed word of God
Positioned to take it into the depths of our hearts
To understand that we may have to leave our comfort zones
Believing God will never forsake us nor leave us alone
To clean out that hard drive full of memories that won't allow us to move ahead
To remove the cookies from your chip that are unused, unread and dead
Able to let go of long ago hurts, pains and bitterness
Making room to download God's righteousness
Now with the capability to upgrade and receive the heavenly key
For you are important to God and He wants you to increase
So allow God to position you where you will prosper and be strong
With the key of perseverance in the place where you belong
For God will upgrade you through trials and tribulations
As the sweetest victories always come after difficult situations
Yes, the world will judge you based on your performance and whatever you do
While God is only concerned with your character
and the level of perseverance that's in you
Now perfectly transitioned with godly maturity
For you are important to God and He'll send godly opportunities
Just don't allow the enemy to discern your expectations
And give it the opportunity to determine your destination
Perfectly positioned, fully loaded, upgraded and transitioned
As you are important to God so go forth with your Great Commission
Farcical is the modern age?
Yes, and reason thus:
Solemnity killed the sage!
Rage, refute! A plus.
Kindness, do ye often pay?
Those who sway, betray.
Poison in my pen, to slay!
What then will they say?
Dragonfire, thy fullest plume!
Vampire, choicest vein!
Choke, O mortals, on the fume!
Now to end the pain!
Hound dog, bay! O banshee, wail!
Bitterness, tell tale!
Slave down river, bill of sale?
Slops in master's pail...
Break down, communication?
O constellation, bow.
Ergo, elevation?
Keelhauled from stern to prow.
Welts around the beggar's neck?
Pigeons, how you peck.
Ships at sea, fear ye a wreck?
Hope, become a speck!
O fortune, bane or beckon?
Fates Three, call Muses Nine.
Tell them back in Kingdom Gone!
Hell and Heaven, fine...
