Slow down take a run
Wobbly—?dribble?— dabble addled eye balls gawking at.. what is that? First encounter of the second kind
Clanging?—?clinging?—?cloistering—?changin colours in daytime
Running lights off on subway hell
Foil coil toil boil the beef stock until sober
Heat draws itself up?—from the toes?—to the feet?— up up in to— (glands bulge) your inner organs?—liver slowly dying?tangled?—?triangle?— shaped kidneys?—?tingling?—?ringing ears?—?wet hands burning
‘Hot in here, isn’t it’ I say to whoever is near
My partner in this crime of non reasoning
For a squeeze of lemon?— top of the class?— cherry pop given freely without rates
Norman Bates-- scary film!--rhymes with times--dimes--pines--grimes
Steinmann Gloria Gaynor born to be alive pal gal mal Quel?
Slattery lids opening wide with ferocity
Gutteral gluten?— free galloping for horses
Productive?—?creative?—?tired up in addled mind
Hole drilled into a cavity in the brain?—?chemicals floating around point blank?—?blood constricted to a ball of ice-peaked at Antarctica poles apart
Taking the time
Like the wind takes sheath from sword?—?points blank
Shooting fast?— slowing down
Run?— sun?— pun?—?drum for your life?—
Because there’s not much of it left after this
The End
I got choked at a meal, the old rooster
Finally stood up when I had reached the stage
Where I thought my life would turn a page
He kept on eating his meal, definitely not my ego booster
My meal was not much enjoyed, and I felt bad
Others meal I had I interrupted
Even though my thoughts were corrupted
Because I felt he was a cad, to be alive I was glad
The old rooster used to strut around and is such a jerk
Problem is he thinks he's perfect
In every way of life's living and aspect
Good most days he's gone and loves to work
I guess all old roosters have their faults
Some gamble, some drink too much
Some with reality out of touch
There are some who away waltz
All in all, the old rooster has good traits
Some bad things I can overlook
I just go read a poetry book
At least he's not Patrick Bateman at the hotel Bates'
Unusual thing: a Sickness lived in There…
(The Place I spent Walpurgis Night – O, Fool!)
The kids said something rotten in the air
Infected all who’d lived there – some would drool
And some who seemed all right grew violent,
And Something Dead lived in the backyard pool…
…at any rate, that’s what the kids all said
Not one of them went near it, as a rule…
And I went, that Walpurgis, on a dare…
To prove that Frankie Bates was lying to me
When I said ‘SURE!’ he met me with a stare,
That said, ‘if you come out, we’ll all be free…’
For We All Knew that Courage BREAKS a Curse,
So, I took every Crucifix and Charm,
And on the way, I saw a big, black hearse
And prayed that none of us would come to harm…
When we went in, a blind cat greeted, yowled,
And rubbed against my shin… covered with mange…
Then scooted off! The carpet was all fouled
And something moved beneath it, whispering strange…
Words in some language that I didn’t know.
I went upstairs, and there the moon was bright.
There, shadows growled. The others slept, below…
I did not sleep ONE WINK, that whole long night…

So conservative the wild animals habits are
And the birds are behaving traditional
But there’s a one animal who’s gone too far
To show off he progressed from original
The results that were reached are impressive
No one dares to deny the Man’s genius
Man was destined to become progressive
Self-boasting and often fastidious
Though his tastes can be fickle at times
He owns one or two constant traits
He kills other men for the reason he likes
To get what he deserves, then he bates
So a Man seems a bit contradictional
In comparison to other animals
Whose behaviour still goes like traditional
Withing their own kind, they’re not enemies
Hear the Orangutan speaks to his son:
“Seen a man, then rush quickly to hide
They spoil what they touch, and they cease everyone
Man’s a killer, who haven’t yet died”.
Her name was Brenda Bates, a novelist
bewitched from burrowing inside her book
of fiction 'bout a boatman, Bo Barist,
the character who botched her life...betook
control of him believing he was true.
Becharmed, beguiled, she wanted this bold man,
who she had brought to life as best she knew,
and bonded with her plot as life's big plan.
And Brenda shared in Bo's biography
of how he boated seven broad, blue seas,
to one day bring her from catastrophe
and bail her from bad pirates' abductees.
She lived with her brave boatman in a book;
berserk, bewildered...balanced life, forsook.

The End
It must be like any other Sad day in Lonelyville
So bad
The last of the 6 mangy Cats
Have shuffled past her open window
Some call her Ratty
Some call her Tatty
But to most she is known as Spinster Batty
She gets her kick's daily from throwing
Brick's and Barbs
At passing Cars
Because her family gave up visiting long ago
She has no friends and neighbors avoid her
But its hard to ignore her
Because she gets her kick's
Behind the anonymity of a computer screen
She exists solely as a troll online
Because she can't interact with human kind
For she revels in causing suffering
It makes her feel like she is a big deal
But here's the thing
Those she bates
Can still await at knock at there front door
Or a well timed telephone call
From a real person who wishes them well
While all she has
Is her Avatar as a Sleazy Troll
So scroll away
Dig away you poor lost soul
If it in anyway fills your gaping hole
They came from all over - Manchester, Derby
and. Connemara - icons, O'Toole, Bates and Finney,
who would believe the power of future stars,
although they spent their time fighting in bars.
RADA was a dream, a long way from country,
Reed and Marvin muscled in with Shaw and Connery,
Caine gave a sleepy-eyed look for mystery,
while Mitchum was instructed in English history.
Imagine King Henry sending 'Alfie' to the tower,
whilst Connery, Reed and Bates began to cower,
although the former pair wrestled in front of a fire,
If you didn't enjoy 'Women In Love,' you were a liar.
When Reed had his nose in a variety of *****,
O'Toole was enthralling us as Lawrence of Arabia.
When we first met
Your light blinded my senses
I got too close
When your presence obliterated my fences
No boundaries with you
Your fragrance made me tired
As your promise of passion
Got my furnace all fired
....up
Up, Up, Up to your face
Of golden beauty
Causing me to forget
My marital duty
Promises, Promises
Just words spoken on a rainy day
But this is real, because I can feel
All that my flesh wants to say
...downward
Wait, where am I
What are these silky threads
That are so soft
My heart presses my mind to dread
The sleep has waned to a stupor
And my legs are wobbly with lack
What brought me to this...place
I don't think I can get back
...on track
Oh, there is no track
I'll just lie down for a while
"GET up you sluggard!
Your husband knows you're defiled!"
My body becomes limp
With every try to stand erect
The threads grow tighter
And burden my elect
...tion, shunned
............what have I DONE!
MY LORD...WHAT HAVE I DONE
JESUS! PLEASE COME
That cry, that Tehillah cry
Brought down Daddy God
Who knew all along
That THIS road I must trod
So that the lies of wrong vs right
Would never persuade me again
Because the long and short of "sin"
Is doing anything without HIM
The reason HE is in charge
Is because HE walked the way out of hell
When I chose to yell and expel the enemy
I walked out as well, now I am charged to tell
....YELL HIS NAME
HIS EARS HEAR
His arms are infinitely lengthened
His LOVE is all encompassing
To find His children and strengthen
....the heart to FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!

Note: A tehillah praise is a yielded heart cry that reaches a LOVING God from a place of complete dependence. I can't count the times, when in the night, I have said, "JESUS!" What I find, every time, is that He is the overseer, pulling out of me, strength, and resilience I was unaware of, and it can only be found IN Him. Oh, and the first time I heard of this type of cry, was listening to Tommy Bates. That message is on YouTube. Check it out.
