The Bird

Early This Morning,
I observed a little black and white bird perched on a dry tree limb,
Without a care, without sentiment, nonchalant as ever.
Was it a he or she I could not tell, But He/She was very relaxed and unafraid,
Exhibiting the Emotion of sweet Happiness; And also one of of Pristine Peace, Peacefulness, Peaceableness, that transcended throughout my tender and welcoming Heart and Soul at that tender and welcoming moment.
And That Happiness transmitted to me like an electric wave.
I felt an electricity so strong that I felt like passing it onto someone else.
I felt the strongest inspiration, AND irresistible Urge and Motivation to pen this poem.

And Then out of the Bule all of sudden, It Started Chirping.
The Sweetest Music to my ear.
Like a beauteous and harmonious trumpet in A-Minor, or a resonating Orchestra,
That had me so soo Spellbound.

Who says we cannot learn from a Bird?
Here's proof, that's a falsity...a fib...an empty fallacy or farce.
When One Can so deeply appreciate a scene like this,
There is Beauty in the Day.
And these simple little observations and appreciations help us to survive well,
the inclement vicissitudes of this lovely but unfair life.

Blessings like these take away the stresses.
And for these small mercies we should be forever grateful.
Much better to spend a little time appreciating the good of this world,
Than to be locked in some frivolous overzealous and unnecessary fruitless, useless
And Pointless Argument with some moron.
Or repeatedly murmuring and grumbling miserably in utter misery about something gone awry.
Not realising that miserableness and negativity and stressing are catching like coughing and yawning, Just as Positivity and Happiness are.

a wall with a perfect diminution
rough lumber built wide and strong a hollow
box with a window space cut through
sand, bank run, cement or Aircerete and straw
packed down and dried to fill the
hollow space and make a stone interior of
                                   a rough lumber wall.
belt sanded and stained and shellacked
six of these were constructed and like
                             rammed earth wall they would
be the focal piece and design
                              connected by more modern
                                         materials'
to create a perfect arteezy space!
Earth home or a hobbit house had been mounted
in rough lumber walls to be attached by more modern
appreciations. Finding it cheaper to use plyboards
and vinyl exterior coverings to make
Clear lines with perspective and perception

A garden of lavender shall make a beautiful scent.
Riverstone, cement and sand was used to cover the earth home

Track One, Side Two
                          by Odin Roark

It was time.
He knew it.

Like the cuts on so many of his albums,
As he passed through the “got your attention” of side one,
He’d often considered the “time to acknowledge some chancier-experiments” of side two.

Yeah…
Back then, even though he was only thirteen,
His father had been prophetic.
After all, how many fathers would think to give some philosophy
As a birthday gift.

But that was long ago,
And now it was time he finally rejected society’s pre-ordained lifetime marketing blitz on how to live
And allow the oft times sleeper-ideas to maybe awaken discovery.

Just like his career of producing long-playing albums
Creating the safer decisions for side one was only rewarding
When there was risk mixed in, usually on side two.

Today…

He was going to welcome the task of searching,
Go beyond the choices he had been living,
Gamble on the unexpected,
Travel down the multitier-senses
Where less familiar ideas
Might muster appreciation for more of a being’s tempo,
Rhythm,
And harmony.

When he thought about it…

How enticing that flip side of the so-called normal existence must be
Finding out what one’s unknown appreciations are all about
That discovery of a finger-snapping epiphany
Ready to produce surprises for the future.

Lest he forget
Passing time was becoming more precarious
Making life’s tomorrow a hit
Would require risk of another kind.

He recalled his father’s birthday message at thirteen,
“Embrace the unexpected,
Indulge the inordinate,
Find the willingness to try track one, side two of your days,
It’s waiting.”

Why do I hunger for justice,
for love, I can’t keep this emptiness
inside, this void annoys
pulling me under
I cry in pain, I gain nothing
and I wonder,
Why do I find comfort in turning away
from the beliefs instilled upon me
It’s so much easier to ignore
the teachings before me
To live as if it doesn’t matter
who I hurt, treat like dirt
Whose path I’ve changed
with my narrow mindedness
For I've outgrown the things
that once defined me
                  ~o~
I used to take safe harbor
within the cove of fleeting happiness
but the cove grows dank and confining
Words prove banal and empty
Set sail in the broad open air
Beckoning world of hope,
seeking God, the Almighty,
in natures glorious bounty
a catalyst for change
and regain passion
                  ~o~
Something far more sacred
things inexplicable
that I can’t rid
I’ll fondly take responsibility
for myself, for others
show care like that I’ve
been given and share
Eager I use old despair as a driven
Tears I shed no longer,
with empathy I grow stronger
                   ~o~
St Francis of Assisi
found God’s presence in nature,
Brother Sun, Sister Moon
I too have found this same rapture
This a realization, 'tis with me
from my deepest self I reveal
an emotional rapture beknownst it be
Enamored in love is how I truly feel
of the combined sacred oneness
Emotions unfurled
Respect, charity, and love
for God and his creations
and appreciations
'Tis common in the world religions
'Tis the common essence
Shared are His values when in His presence
Realization from my deepest self I reveal
Enamored in love is how I truly feel
a strong sense of collectiveness
felt with all things

Premium Member Oh Lord Jesus, Please Help Our Unbelief

"Oh Lord Jesus, Please Help Our Unbelief!
We very commonly and collectively pray
to our beloved Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ. Knowing that if we ask anything
in the name of our beloved Heavenly
Father, in Jesus' name He will grant our
desperate pleas.

Yet, how many of us, who are God's
special children? Even take the time
to realize that unbelief is a sin against
God, Almighty Creator of the Heaven
and the and Earth! Unbelief is a sin
that blocks us from receiving His
wonderful blessings!

When Jesus Christ walked on the earth
among men, He healed the very least
of them. Jesus of Nazareth also
preformed miracles as well.
But in His own town of Nazareth,
He only performed a few healings!

All because of their unbelief,
they also sought to kill Him by
throwing Him over a cliff! Thus
adding the sin of attempted
murder to their collective sins
of unbelief.

Repeated sins of unbelief not only
lead to us having hardened hearts,
but also to us having stony hearts.
God has a harder time penetrating
hardened hearts. And yet even He
considers our stony hearts impossible
for Him to penetrate!

When that does occur, we need to
humble ourselves and pray to
our Savior, and our Redeemer,
Jesus Christ! Asking Him to remove
our stony hearts and to replace
them with ones of flesh!

Once He does that, He can reach
us and help our collective sins
of unbelief! The more people
pray to have faith, hope, and
trust for Him to answer our
prayers!

It makes Him feel all of our love
and appreciations. Whenever
that happens the windows
of heaven will open wide for
all of us to receive, "showers
of blessings!"

Love in Christ Jesus!

The Mystery

As the saying does go,
A barking dog seldom bite,
Am not here to bark nor mime,
But to say what is in me,
A burnt child does dread fire,
For I have seen many go to drain.
When a child is surely born,
Celebrations are all over,
‘He’s pretty, he’s sweet, he’s mmwaah’
But the mystery still remains,
What will he be when he grows up.
A danger once foreseen,
We do say is half avoided,
The young upcoming adult,
Will do have a lot to check,
Expectations, Imaginations,
And maybe appreciations,
All surround the little child.
Go baby go! Go baby go!
Are voices from every corner,
And the mystery still remains,
What will he be when he grows up.
Visions are really followed,
The routes are set in place,
“When I grow up,
I want to be a doctor”
Injecting and treating the sick,
Bringing smiles to all the sick.
Others have the zeal to fly,
Flying up and above our heads,
Ssssshhhh! Brrrrrr!
Hovering all over the world.
And yet to many others,
Speaking Jesus to all the nations,
Baptizing them in name of Jesus,
Making them Disciples of Christ.
But the mystery still remains,
What will he be when he grows up.
Questions, ambitions,
Reasons and visions,
For all new born babies,
Hopes, dashes and rushes for jobs,
When time comes for adulthood,
Who, who, who will they be?
But the sweet melody in our ears,
God will be with them,
Mmmmm! I repeat,
God will be with them.
AMEN!

The Journey

I have breathed you in it seems a lifetime of times, correlated in seconds becoming rarer.
Each shorter than the last, each with more adoration as i exhale every molecule of trial and error.
My cup artlessly empty at the commencement of our eternal long embrace.
Filling gradually my cup of discovery, tracing the lines of wisdom leaving their trails on my face.

Fighting my knuckles to the bone, then wishing you would leave as the paint cracks on our master piece.
Dropping to my knees as the hallways loose their luminosity, becoming filled with cries as they echo for your kiss of peace.
Without delay you cup my face & replenish me with hope, love & serenity. A few of the beautiful un-held possessions you grant this fading vessel.
Perceptions changed, ties undone, silver linings captured by flashes of gratitude, then plunged into the weariness as i tire
showing the threshold in our trestle.

I have waged war upon war on you just to be met each time with another venture.
Relentlessly picking at the wounds attained along our way, whispering promise of astounding adventure.
Ungrateful! I am guilty! So many a times i have put to shame the vastness of your beauty.
Demeaningly i have shunned your guidance & care. Blind to your intention of growth. Forgetting you are loyal to the exemplification of duty.

Vicious to be benevolent. Timelessly this shall be your aspiration.
In your ways and in your time you pulled the wool from my eyes to see the suffering as my inspiration.
With each collision comes a valuable lesson. You taught me to embrace even the darkness a gift in itself through wisdom.
Appreciation, love & patience! You created every situation for me to hold in my hand the key to freedom.

Belated but felt i stand with new discoveries astoundingly compelled to give to you a tribute.
Perceiving your perseverance enduring. Sharing now the secrets i hold! The greatest thing i am able to contribute.
To my ever changing paramour i tip my hat! Owing to you my praise for revealing there can be no beauty without strife!
With refreshed vision radiating from my appreciations for my abecedary. Known by all. L.I.F.E!!!!

Pretend

This is their moment
Place on your makeup and let us begin
Cast the shadows of deceit with a grin
Curtain calls and the show begins

The world is their stage, action consumes.
Warm hugs and I love you’s
Serene and pristine,
O, look how they are giving their all to you.

We are one they proudly say
but your hand is the one bent like clay
at the expense of putting on this charade.
You comforted them for their loss
Though their arms were folded when you lost your heart
I did my all, and I've given my best
I made them who they are, o how I'm blessed
How perfect
how right
how just
These lines read with sureness and might
Bravo
Bravo
how deep shall this go

Your fate lurks in the darkest corners
There you will find your:
Trauma responses
Fight or flight
Trust issues that sing aloud
Worthless, characters,
Keep your makeup up on
The show is not done.

The script is read, how dramatic indeed
Her part is played with vigor and feist.
With the roll of a dice, all are against her
but the sword welded came from her

Nameless game,
Adjectives should do
here let me spell it out for you
Weak,
Smug,
pathetic,
Delusional
you're no longer you, but what they think of you

This house is their stage, let the act begin
A wonderful family they say.
as they step over the sharp edges of bloodied mirrors
that scatter on the inside of our feeble bodies.
That mercilessly cut at our heels, we are forever
nails against chalkboards that go unnoticed
We are the thousand shallow graves that were dug without names
O how we give and give
and they take and take
Justify, manipulate, and cast the blame.

You've taken their hits,
Felt their pain,
comforted their sorrows
but what have you gained

Fake appreciations,
Blind assumptions
Degraded and in pain
Serpents venom spat
back at you.

If hate were a color this world
would not be blue

But only if they knew
that dancing among the rain, to hide our tears
The red was never from allergies

Curtains go down
applaud,
smile,
Encore
Encore
