When a child is surely born, Celebrations are all over, ‘He’s pretty, he’s sweet, he’s mmwaah’ But the mystery still remains, What will he be when he grows up. A danger once foreseen, We do say is half avoided, The young upcoming adult, Will do have a lot to check, Expectations, Imaginations, And maybe appreciations, All surround the little child. Go baby go! Go baby go! Are voices from every corner, And the mystery still remains, What will he be when he grows up. Visions are really followed, The routes are set in place, “When I grow up, I want to be a doctor” Injecting and treating the sick, Bringing smiles to all the sick. Others have the zeal to fly, Flying up and above our heads, Ssssshhhh! Brrrrrr! Hovering all over the world. And yet to many others, Speaking Jesus to all the nations, Baptizing them in name of Jesus, Making them Disciples of Christ. But the mystery still remains, What will he be when he grows up. Questions, ambitions, Reasons and visions, For all new born babies, Hopes, dashes and rushes for jobs, When time comes for adulthood, Who, who, who will they be? But the sweet melody in our ears, God will be with them, Mmmmm! I repeat, God will be with them. AMEN!
