Come fluttering words, come drifting words to me . . .
Open my eyes to what I can’t see,
Their on the floor I found what was missing,
As I recall all the nights we spent kissing,
You ran out so fast and did not give me a chance,
I told you my heart and you just gave me a glance,
Now on the ground I spot are new fate,
A ring filled with pearls, I must be too late,
I just needed a moment to truly explain,
Instead you ran quickly into the pouring rain,
You spoke with passion, hunger and thirst,
I felt as though my heart would suddenly burst,
But then you enquired about me being your bride,
It caught me off guard like the evening tide,
Marriage is sacred to me my dear,
I cannot just say yes and have you disappear,
I know you are leaving early tomorrow,
And now I taste tears filled with such sorrow,
But I would have waited here for you,
For there is no one else I would want to pursue,
The nights hold our love like a candle with its fire,
Your touch is so precious my ultimate desire,
Please come back to me and make this right,
I will wait for you on this disastrous night,
Even the stars scream out my plea,
Floating through space and eternity,
I meant no such harm by the words I spoke,
They echo in mind as I simply choke,
Oh dreadful darkness have mercy on me,
Bring back the one who makes me happy,
I am left paralyzed in the silence of this night,
With just a symbol of our love to fill my hearts appetite,
If morning comes and you’re not back,
Nothing will fill this internal lack,
So I scream out to the crescent moon,
While Praying that you will come back here soon.

"What is she thinking"
Pitifully, it seems my volcano has erupted—Somerset Mougham
Awaiting ink and feather to perform, my volcano has erupted
Gloomy den, I listen to crackling fire, nothing of worth to pen
Suffer to produce work that last forever, an unwritten rule inducted
Cupped in hand, a cobalt bottle, I rub it, and call on its Jinn
Last resort, I sort out the day’s events, journals I’ve constructed
Graced ideas and creativity dead-ended, no nativity, a blank page
The ink has dried, writings seen under scrutiny, in a fishbowl
Sorcery a bitter end, acquire a student, mentor, what I now wage
Appetite gone, blithe verses, Chicken Soup For The Soul; soulful
Poetry to please; plush oriental magnolia’s, birds of paradise, sage
Speechless, lost in words of little sense, strained thoughts, struck dumb
Poet's bemoaning what's penned in a year, should've taken a week
Muses ebbed, Coleridge, Dickenson, to writer’s block they'd succumb
Inspiration depleted, curtains drawn shut, I may never again peak
Gloomy den, a chilling season, I listen to the wind, comfortably numb
Hear the buzz
Do not disturb
The hornet's nest
Don't cross the line
Where right turns wrong
And tact criminal
The path is set
Each to a fate
At many fork roads
There will be time
For frustration to blame
Guilt and regret
Be steady now
While you are here
Mix and mingle in grey shades
Yet black is black
And white is white
Feast appetite with peace
Drink your own cup
Lest thirst breeds poison
In avaricious strides
If you must live
Live a good life
Evil is loss of ease
If you must die
Die for a cause
Bigger than you
Beyond human laws
Of right and wrong
Innocence seems weary
Guilty until proven
Innocent or whatever posture
Swings the other way round
Do not cede to temptation
Insidious violence grins
Control is in vain
Walk then the way
That middle path
Where life is found
Live simple substance
Beyond the sad buzz
Of cynical hypocrisy
If cynic or skeptic fits
Yet be true to your soul
For earthly days are brief
Do not be afraid
For fear is a trap
For the wrong reasons
Live with stern love
That your days somehow
May be a blessing
To each a precious gift
Given that you may
By choice give to live
Seek then and be bold
Walk the narrow path
Where grace funds love
Do not let fear
Make you feel lost
Life springs hope eternal
If you must pray
Be beyond reason
Let faith fund fest
Make your words simple
In poise, choice and voice
A simple prayer echoes:
"Thank you God.
I love you God.
Show me the way."
Simplicity is subtle
Plain and effective
A cause that works
Then rest your soul
Cast off your burdens
Be enlightened, set free
Beyond cause and course
Truth speaks sternly
For beauty is pure
No need to worry
Just feel happy
As you can be
No fuss needs no buzz
All things happen
For a good reason
Be content
With being
A becoming

Singapore
i want to invite you over to my place
i have surprisingly been in the doggone kitchen
i had to clean the dust out of there first off of everything except, of course, for the microwave
i baked a chicken and tuna casserole
i made shells and cheese with bacon bits
i made some homemade honey butter biscuits
i even included some chicken soup with rice (a la carole king)
for dessert, i prepared a classic buttercream cake
i also, for the first time ever, tried grandpa's famous cinnamon apple pie
now would you like to come over to my place
if so, then all you have to do is bring the cool whip and your appetite
i will take care of the rest of the rest
the pleasure of your effervescent presence will be joyfully welcomed
i will actually be looking forward to the doorbell ringing
Her angelic smile and darling face,
Melted away a bitter place,
Her graceful presence, genuine and sincere,
Helped my purpose to become exceptionally clear,
For pleasing sounds ran through her hands,
On zebra keys they seemed to stand,
Her unfermented, pure, natural sweet
Performed notes that danced to noble beats,
A delightful fragrance of sheer perfection,
Gave way to an emotional resurrection,
Beloved friend with a cinnamon heart,
Words cannot express where I yearn to start,
When describing a bud that has blossomed into a rose,
Pleasing to the eyes and delightful to one’s nose,
Careful selections of words must be conveyed
For her exquisiteness dries up all weeds that once laid,
In her garden of rejuvenation
Nectars only inspiration,
Not one part of her is stale, dull or stifling to ones appetite,
She is simply beautiful throughout the day and beyond the night.

What is it about two elderly folks holding hands
That says so much about life
First of all it says love sweet love
But when you see couples in their golden years holding hands
We smile and say awww!
It means after a lifetime of ups and downs
These people are still in love, are still the best of friends
All too often, we loose that loving connection
When the trials and tribulations that confront us each day
Put love on the back burner and we forget about the one thing
That brought us together in the first place... love
Try to remember that feeling and how overwhelming it was
How we lost our appetite, how we couldn't focus on things
Exasperating yet the most glorious feeling we've ever felt
Unfortunately we can lose that as we age
To be replaced by a more mature kind of love
But OH... that first glance, that first kiss, that first embrace
The first time someone says, “I love you!”
Nothing can match that glorious moment
We find ourselves wishing we could relive those joyous moments
But they are replaced by a mature love
Because to maintain that youthful exhilaration
Would certainly make it difficult to carry on a normal existence
Oh the memories, thankfully we have them
Exhuming dreams buried in time:
you are in constant denial.
And concealing your misery,
truth's hidden by a plastic smile.
Forged upon empty promises:
delusion, warps reality.
And you're lost in a fantasy;
where hurt's a matter of degree.
Flattery's lies confuse your heart:
for they are never what they seem.
And, as your doubts, gather in strength:
Hope can't suppress a silent scream.
Anxieties accumulate;
morphing into a restless night.
For scraps of love are not enough
to satisfy your appetite.
The years flow like the sands of time;
to where disappointment awaits.
And donning a mask of fake smiles,
Hope diminishes, while Death baits.
She left home early;
After two hours,
She had to go to the studio
Of her friend, who was a painter
And who was going to make a portrait of her;
She thought:
There was sunlight
And it was the perfect day to lay on the beach
Which was much nearby her house;
As soon as she arrived there
She took off all her clothes
And nude laid on the sand;
Her full breasts and pubic hair
Glittered under the sunshine;
One passerby,
That was walking nearby,
Stopped as soon as he saw her;
He went to a place nearby,
A quiet corner
Where his looks would not disturb her
And sat in order to look at her;
Two men that were laying on the beach nearby.
Somehow altered the tones.
And speed of their conversation.
And time after time took a look,
At her blossomed body;
Quietly and gently not to disturb her;
The same with two men,
That were standing at the shore;
Time after time they would turn their heads
And admire the nude that was standing,
Still enjoying the rays of the sun;
As time went by,
A lot of people that were passing by,
Would slightly turn their heads
And look at her breasts,
Her pubic hair,
Her thighs;
It all went on for two hours.
And then she began to wear her clothes.
And headed to the studio of her friend;
She had promised to pose nude for him.
And she was getting a bit late this time;
She walked for twenty minutes.
And then as soon as she entered
She took off her clothes.
Leaving them at the chair.
And lay on the bed;
Her friend in appetite and content
Just as before a good meal
Began his drawing;
Its like trying to be normal
Do you question yourself whether to be sane?
A remainder time to only borrow
With only a reminder how time will never remain
Nevertheless, we quicken along with time
Eager to judge, eager to gain succession
Leaving but vital secreted details behind
We prove yet again as to why everyone is beyond comprehension
A need be to be carefree in order to accept
Seems nothing can be said whence one is stubborn
There is life to be lived yet of humanity we lack
Have we evolve beyond or simply never wanting to learn?
I never did favor life given the presentation
To only wake to each day searching for something to laugh at
Let the world move on, I shall move with my own illusion
For I’m sure I won’t be missed for world’s appetite be fed
I suppose I need not be normal... Yes?
Somehow, seems much easier to be insane... No?
Our remaindering time we borrow, we chase
