woo oh, woo oh, oh oh oh
woo oh, woo oh, oh oh woooh...
I wanna be there in a better well;
I wanna go where there is happiness,  still;
Forever and a day;
Where we can sing, and dance and pray;
Sing hallelujah, each and everyway, for always, for always.,..
for ALWAYS...

I wanna go to the better side;
where my spirit will be free;
and I..
won't have to ever die no more, no, no;
I'll live rejoicing in liberty and my soul will;;
sing forever praising the joys;
for my God is great
and He will constantly provide for me
forever, forever, forever;

(from Anthology "Reverence" by James E. Lee Sr. 6/ 2017
I wanna go where God resides;
I wanna go to the better side;
no need to hide, no need to cry;
I am better now, cause I'm on the better side;

Happiness is where Jesus dwells;
No more death nor sorrow wails;
I'm gonna be forever happy here;
In the arms of my Father;

I wanna be there for a better well;
I wanna go where happiness dwells, and..
For ever and a day;
We will sing, dance and pray;
Forever in eternity singing hallelujah;

I wanna go to the better side;
Where my spirit will be free;
I wanna go to the better side;
Where I will be His bride;
And forever and all eternity, I'm gonna be free;
Everlasting forever in His arms I'll be embraced
On the better side;
I wanna go where I know my great-great grandmother is;
I wanna live with Jesus and all my cousins and them;
I want to abide with the angels and my ancestry pride;
Live and be alive with my God on the better side;
My grand parents went to the sweet by N by...
I want to live where, there's no more weather....
Where there'll be nothing but God's cover...
I am talking bout' HEAVEN..
the better side Heaven
the better side, the better side
Heaven
the better side, the better side
Heaven is the better side, the better side;
I wanna  go where I know my Savior is;
I wanna go  where God lives;
I want to abide with my God on the better side;
Be with my grand parents on the sweet by N by...
I want to live where, there's no more weather...
I wanna be where forevermore under God's cover...
What am I talking about..
This is what I am talking about
I am talking bout' HEAVEN, HEAVEN;
I wanna go where I know my Savior is..
Where God lives....
Heaven
I wanna go to the better side;
that better side is...
Heaven;
I wanna go to the better side;

Premium Member If You Were My Bride You Be By My Side Until the Passing

If you were my bride you'd be by myside until the passing
until the passing
If you were my bride you'd be by myside until the darkest hour
My God would shower you with dreams and vision
Awaken you, make you a nurturer
If you were my bride you'd be eye to eye with me as we praise the Lord together
There would be no place we could hide
Never, ever being selfish or reeling in our pride
standing together always until He comes for us
Separately or together
Love

If you were my bride you'd be by myside until the passing
until the blessings of God
surrounds, engulfs us, together forever until death
and even beyond our sins
and even beyond our flesh we will be birth again

If you were my bride you be on loan to me;
From the heavenly one, Father above
He's gave you to me on loan for just a moment
You see you(we) all belong to Him
Never, ever being selfish nor reeling in our pride;
Standing together always until He comes, He comes for us
Separately or together
What is the meaning of this
Love
If you were my bride you'd be by my side until the passing
You would be there until dawn
And if by chance I'm wrong, then I'll see you on, see you on the other side
If you were my bride you'd bee by my side until the passing
until the passing
ever lasting, ever lasting whom am I to lie
There maybe better guys
But you better had asked God. . .
If you were my bride
Thank you for the moment in life God allowed you to be with me
Wasn't a daydream but a honored reality
together we were
There was no place to hide
Never, ever being selfish or reeling in our pride
standing together always until He comes for us
Separately or together
Love
Standing together always until He comes, He comes for us
Separately or together
What is the meaning of this
Love
If you were my bride you'd be by my side until the passing
You would be there until dawn
And if by chance I'm wrong, then I'll see you on, see you on the other side

Ever, leave me alone;
That is why I worship you alone;

Verse 2.
I am gladden so happy that you share your time with me;
I'm a burden filled with sin nature, till your spirit came to me;
Now I'm forgiven, now I am living, and I am so, so very thankful;
I am saved, been remade and I thank you daily for what you've done..

CHOURS:

You

People, open ended, bargain BASEMENT
Everything’s on the fence, quickly done;
Fifty-nine cent penny candy, and plastic bubble gum;
Quick decision, triple vision
Saints on the run;
We all need an relationship, a relationship with God
Pray for healing, no more drug dealings, spit out that aspirin…

Pulpit screaming
Of neighborhood robbing, drive by shootings, murders and guns
Every LIFE MATTERS
NRA and the Political systems a joke…
Anyway though….
Don’t need no religion, don’t need no religion
With any of my decisions;
All I need, all we need is a
We need an relationship with God
We all need a one on one relationship with God, with God

All I know it that;
You and I aren’t right;
And that when you’re up, you’re UP but after this, (after that comes) comes the fall;
That just beats all

Pulpit screaming
Of neighborhood robbing, drive by shootings, murders and guns
Every LIFE MATTERS
NRA and the Political systems a joke…
Anyway though….
Don’t need no religion, don’t need no religion
With any of my decisions;
All I need, all we need is a
We need an relationship with God
We all need a one on one relationship with God, with God
We all need an relationship, a relationship with God

Blue horizons, grown men crying;
Bout’ what not they haven’t accomplished
Grown men yes they to do need love and hugs
Help them Lord, Oh God, help them Lord;
In life you see only in God is there victory
I want to be free in the spirit of Christ
Slow ambitions day old hamburger buns
In the winter time placing my tongue on the frozen fence post
Children though that this was just fun
Prayer of deliverance
Man’s wheeling’s and dealings, will we ever past the tests;
Don’t need mercy we’re had are duties
Warring on now we protest
My best is not second best, I insist;
Wonder faces, beautiful places;
Quick decision, triple vision
Saints on the run pray for healing
No more drug dealings, pulpit screaming
Of neighborhood robbing all the drive by shootings murders and guns
Don’t need no religion, don’t need no religion
All I need ever need is…
All we need is a relationship with God
Let us pray on
We need an relationship with God

========================================
{There will be ‘nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.’ UN climate report warns of ‘code red for humanity.’}

========================================

You, unfeeling creatures
Who call yourselves human,

You, fleeting bubbles of reason,
Accidental parasites of time,

You, filthy microbes of cancer,
Ephemera of invincible eternity,

You, who try to fill your vanity
With abominable crimes,

You, insensible butchers of animals,
Notorious destroyers of pastures,

You, contaminators of oceans,
Deleterious polluters of rivers,

You, menacing beings of harmony,
Transgressors of universal laws,

You,
Who deliberately have put me through
The tormenting agony of dying
By
Strewing your treacherous dark web of
Your unworthy ambitions, all over my face,
Shadowing my generous fertility and
Rendering me sterile,

Behold,
For the time has come for you
To feel my wrath and my fury
Boiling lava over you
To flow every day,

Kneel,
Your tiny mortal beings
In front of the immortal cosmos,
For the shiny heavy sword of
Universal justice,
Punisher of transgressions, guardians of
The eternal laws,
Over your thoughtless heads to fall
With vengeance and rage
Decapitating the most of you and
Those who would survive
Shall feel the torturing pain in
Their hearts
For
Uncountable years!*

* This poem I wrote in 1985 in Montreal, Canada when, as a co-founder of a peace movement, was making efforts to raise conscientiousness to save mother earth. It was posted here on the 28th of November 2012 with the title:"The Rage of Mother Earth". Now, with minor editing, is re-posted with its original title of 1985: "THE MOURNING OF MOTHER EARTH." THIS IS A STERN WARNING TO ALL OF US WHO DESTROY HER: REMEMBER NOT MUCH TIME IS LEFT TO SAVE OUR PLANET AND OURSELVES!
-
**'Worst is yet to come': Disastrous future ahead for millions worldwide due to climate change, report warns. So it came to pass. What I dreaded back in 1985 is here, according to the UN report. The question is this: What can we do? What should we do? What we would do? LET US DO THE BEST WE CAN TO SAVE OUR EARTHLY HOME!

***I wanted to include this poem in the PoertySoup upcoming Anthology but poetrySoup says it has too many lines!

Leaving heavenly throne to reach-out mankind, the Messiah bore the status of condescension: His birth in the Bethlehem manger brought to Earth’s calendar a divine milestone, while glorious angelic choir and awed shepherds welcomed His babyhood.

Servant-leadership --- Christ exemplified as He ministered with mercy’s optimized best: healing the sick, feeding the multitudes, quickening the dead, forgiving the repentant, pronouncing beatitudes, drawing humanity nigh to the Almighty.

utmost caring shown
compassion indeed at work
blissful selflessness

Falsely accused with blasphemy unpardonable, betrayed by intimate companions, indicted to pay sins’ penalty, Jesus bore the cross to Calvary, giving up the ghost to reconcile sinners to the holy Creator: freeing those who trust Him from iniquities’ condemnation, assuring them heaven’s security, and granting peace so blissful.

grace and justice met
redemption truly fulfilled
blest crucifixion

Entombed, verily secured; yet after three days of burial, the Saviour rose amidst guarding soldiers manifesting His omnipotence: mighty wonder proving His expertise in impossibilities, miraculous act only the Sovereign can do and marvelous magnificence against vanity of temporal existence.

resurrection smiting death
hope of believers

Heeded toward the Father above, the Lord entrusted the Great commission-fruition to His church: to build lives, spread His love, exalt His name through the Holy Spirit’s guidance, gearing, guarding, and girding while advancing His kingdom*.

pursuits accomplished
ascension so jubilant

*Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Premium Member The Longing, Remembering the Sway of the Primal Guide, Translation of Carlos Bousono's Poem

Carlos Bousono’s poem : Recordando a pastora imperio

                         for Damaso Alonso

(Poem published in the collection : Metaphora del desafuero, 1988, and dedicated
to Damaso Alonso, who exerted on Carlos Bousono an avowed influence and
patronage, concludes my own present tribute to the Maître. I confess I had not
read Bousono’s poems – I may have glanced at a couple of poems when I first
bought the Espasa-Calpe anthology some years ago – before I began translating
them on October 16, 2013.)

I have always thought that in the state of sudden immobility
of the immemorial dancer of flamenco the entire dance
is concentrated of a sudden in this posture
of an instant,
under the weight of centuries,
all of its foregoing agitation,
in such a way as in its absolute fixation is to be found
  its passing and its minute ad mysterious simulation :
the flight of sea gulls over the sea, their avid and sudden swoop
  onto the prey,
and she herself, the flamenco dancer herself, becomes in that instant,
like the form most refined and pure
of such an incomprehensible paradox : velocity and paralisation,
becoming more dense in the procès
between Aquiles and parsimony,
or the tortoise and despair…
No, there is no différence,
because to differentiate hère is to make a descent,
while here there is but an ascent.

And has the flamenco dancer understood suddenly
  that to make a move
is an intolerable imperfection
for whoever aspires to the most arduous achievement,
to the supreme compromise with the fire in the beyond
  and the surprise, sacred and full of rejoicing between
  the fresh flames,
a compromise, then,
with the truth of the highest form of living,
and so the dancer of flamenco
remained for this reason without moving
in a difficult equilibrium
to see if that position, without touching it,
in not moving any of the pièces,
without turning a page, without causing the hinges to friction,
could by chance last, keep enduring there,
on the razor’s edge,
maintain itself on the head of a pin’s unlikely verticality,
balance itself on tip-toes, without breathing, each instant
   succeeding the other,
on the verge of the abysm itself,
earth and boulders coming loose,
and one after another in succession, and in succession…
