Amend

The 14th amendment set us free,
Yet we’re continuously mistreated daily.
The badge takes our purpose and lives,
Lacking any expression of remorse and guilt.

My safety and security is undermined,
The country remains silent and redefined.
If you do not like what I have to say,
Just click the “X” and leave the page.

Believe it or not our system is rigged,
Minorities struggle while majority lives.
Racism is not dead it widely still lives,
No matter what anyone says or gives.

The white man always goes free,
No matter how wrong they treat me.
My people did not fight and die for me,
To be killed for being black on the street.
