March 8 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Deuteronomy 29-31
Key Verse – Deuteronomy 29:12 That thou shouldest enter into covenant with the LORD thy God, and into his oath, which the LORD thy God maketh with thee this day.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO MAKES HIS COVENANT WITH US
Praise be to God for making His covenant with us:
Saving repentant souls from peril of sin-hell’s plagues
Showing great miracles midst prevalence of diseases’ potency
Securing prosperous days against poverty-propelled pressure
Settling heavenly mansions despite persistence of sorrow and pain
Satisfying dedicated service along peaceful prayer pursuits
Deuteronomy 30:20 Praise be to the Lord Who
is our life we should willingly obey since He:
Lengthens our days with blessings’ rain
Loves to hear our requests, granting us bestowments’ replenishment
Listens to our cry, ready to bring to us blissfulness’ revival
Lifts our spirituality while working on our beauty’s rejuvenation
Leads our steps toward body-building’s refreshment and restoration
Deuteronomy 31:3 Praise be to the Saviour
for going before us by His:
Commandments as He drives us from pride toward praise
Compassion as He directs us from perversion toward perfection
Courage as He disciplines us from problem-panic toward peace of patience
Comfort as He deters us from pessimism toward purposefulness

Touch showing His sufficiency in our toils
Timeliness strengthening trust, thanking Him in trials.
Isaiah 34:16 Praise be to Lord for enabling us
to read His book for our:
Restoration, being His redeemed
Replenishment with His refreshing rest
Revival while responding to Him with respect
Rebuke with His reproofs toward our repentance
Rejuvenation by His readiness to renew righteously
Isaiah 35:2 Praise be to the Saviour for letting us
see His glory and excellency with His:
Command for our consecration, charging us with His courageous commission
Comfort midst our cares as well as cheering us toward Christ-likeness
Change for our conversion, congratulating us in our commitment
Correction along our criticisms, commending us in our chastity
Call for our confidence while cleansing us in our confession
Compassion for our charity, chastening us in our carnality
Isaiah 36:7 Praise be to the Creator
for teaching us to trust Him for His:
Presence and power in our pleadings
Provision with His protection amidst poverty
Progress with His prosperity along persistence
Providence with His purpose against preferences
Performance in His perfection despite procrastination
Isaiah 37:6 Praise be to the Holy Spirit for
giving us answers to our prayers with His:
Mercy while ministering to us with His mirth
Might that meets us in our meekness
Marvels against our materialism
Miracles moving our ministries

Prayer for the 10th Commandment
Oh Father God, You have commanded us not to covet our neighbor's goods
This I must, this I should even to their foods
For when You have given what suits us
We should respect what another fellow has
Oh Jesus Christ, help me not to get other's possessions
Do not allow me to commit such transgressions
To God we must give what is due to Him
From God we take only what suits our realm
Oh Holy Spirit, let me respect other's belongings
This is God's command, this can avoid ill happenings.
Amen.

Listen to His Scriptures
Labour for His service
Lean on His strength
Lift up His standards
Love by His Spirit
I Corinthians 16:2 Praise be to the Lord
for prospering us as we are:
Obeying Him with appreciation
Observing His assertions attentively
Offering to Him our abilities midst our adoration
Opening to Him our affection against arrogance and apathy
Optimizing for Him our all around His attributes above own achievements
1Corinthians 16:22 Praise be to the Saviour for enabling us
to love Him as we engage in His work, always:
Progressive midst His provisions
Productive through His propelling
Purposeful by His pursuit
Perfect for His pleasure
Powerful upon His precepts
Planned in His providence
Prosperous upon His performance
Protective around His perseverance. Amen!

COULD you petition a word for me,
to the heavenly FATHER
I don't think it would be a bother;
Pray for me I'm your lost brother, I'm your brother
Could you send up a prayer for me;
Now you have two knees
Could you bend down and use one for me,
to send a praise report for me;
Because you're not ashamed

Thou Shalt Not Kill
We think in a court of law . . .
Where the death sentence is being carried out
Use of the Holy Bible should never be allowed
For this breaks one of the Almighty Lord God’s
Moral imperatives in the Ten Commandments
Whereby, He declared: “Thou Shalt Not Kill.”
Our verdict on this subject is . . .
This action is certainly not a man-given right
To do such an immoral thing.
The very executors . . .
Of such a heinous sentence
Are no better than the
Monsters they kill,
But kill them they do.
We as human beings . . .
Truly must be better than this.
Or is this trait an indelible aspect of our psyche
And our collective Cosmic DNA?
Perhaps down the line . . .
God himself gives these particular sinners
A full taste of His Divine Redemption or His Divine Retribution.
His Choice.
The death penalty is not justice at all . . .
It’s just an easy way of getting rid of problems
And sweeping them conveniently under the rug.
Life is truly sacred . . .
“Thou Shalt Not Kill”
A timeless Christian virtue.
All of us, as thinking intelligent creatures . . .
Who inhabit this Earth
Should devoutly treasure this divine commandment.

Lies! Lies! All damnable lies!
I know the injustice of malicious gossip.
I know the outrage of a loose evil tongue.
In life, I was Lucy Swain, the maligned!
I was Lucy Swain, the indignant!
In truth, I was Lucy Swain, the law-abiding, god-fearing victim
Who resided over on Milton Avenue
With her bent-over heart-broken mother.
In fact, I was Lucy Swain, the innocent weeping victim
Of a thousand cruel hypocritical stares.
And so, let me shout it out
As loudly as my silent soul can,
From my deep grave here in Clark Cemetery:
I never set foot, not once, on Rideout Ranch!
I never set eyes on the winking blue orbs
Of the devastatingly handsome George Towne,
That philandering cad with the fine derby hat.
I never tasted the warm pulsating kisses from his sweet-tasting, pursed lips.
And I never felt the caressing electric touch
Of his firm groping fingers upon my bosom,
There, under the old cedar tree on Rideout Ranch!
Lies! All lies!
And as God is my witness
I never spent even one gloriously romantic moment
In the embrace of the incredibly strong arms
Of the sexy man married to Fannie Towne!

Lord I kneel before you
Knowing you have blessed my life
You have brought my soul mate to me
Now she has become my wife
You brought our lives together
It was you I must confess
I heard your voice within me
“If you marry, God will bless”
With all your love and wisdom
You provided ties that bind
Gave us love in life we needed
Thank you God, you were so kind
We will share each other every day
On the straight roads and the bends
Live life by the Golden Rule
Seldom have to make amends
When those rare times happen
You will always guide us through
Help us choose our actions wisely
In advance I'm thanking you
Lord watch over both of us
Guide us on to make you proud
I know we will have no regrets
For those promises we vowed.

Was it attraction or affection? One wished to follow
I have no place to lay my head; you said, Where will you go?
Foxes have holes as their home. Birds have their nests. What is mine?
What else but renunciation leads one to the divine?
I should, first, bury my father, one said. I'll follow then.
He heard the clarion call within. Could he say, amen?
When will his father die, and, lo, when will he bury him?
Didn't his discipleship, for you, the Godhead, seem grim?
Kith and kin should fondly bid me farewell, another said.
Will, with bondage, towards heaven, anyone go ahead?
Does any, after placing his hands on the plough, look back?
Shouldn't everyone pass through one's very conscience-made track?
Will you, dear friend, with no burden of the cross, follow me?
Be kind to yourself. You have many more mercies to see.
