- Holy Spirit -

Not a period
                                        maybe a comma -

                                            Why illness,

                                          why suffering,

                                           why injustice -

                                          I light a candle
                                         for care and love
                                           Let the light 
                                                shine
                                             like dawn

                                         Give us strength

                                             and hope -

                                        In faith and trust

                                      Nothing is impossible

                                               by God -

                                        The Lord's promise -

                                     Oh God, hear our prayer

                                                 Amen
