Helen's brick house
was built by her grandpa James
with a specific design in mind:
the front black cross-windows
riminded one of Christ's sorrows;
when the off-white roll shades opened
the neighboors saw Helen wearing a rosette
on her blouse she herself had created
on a foot paddle sewing machine...
copying it off a Cosmopolitan magazine.
The porch's wood was cracked and faded
not a perfect dispay for begonias,
amaryllis, hydrangeas and roses
that Helen watered on drought days
to perserve them, never to be whitered
by a lack of rain when the grass yellowed.
A staircase led to her bedroom kind of mystique,
the queen bed was covered with macabre art linen sheets
and had a wrought-iron bedframe almost an antique;
often Helen heard whipers of folks who had lived
there, and she wondered if it was her imagination or dread:
" Dead people are harmelss, only living people harm others! "
No garden in that neighbohood was prittier than hers,
sweet Alyssum, purple Ageratum, white Alemone growing
under Japanese maples and strawberry trees so tempting
made it so harmonious and so lively that amazed others;
would it been complete without the merry warblings
of the canaries,of the mockingbirds and of the wrens?
The roof shingles needed replacement, they often fell down on piled logs,
and Helen stocked them up neately in a corner to save money later on;
her income was kind of low and expensive utility bills kept on coming in,
the pension her husband left her was spent on food, not on luxury goods.
When rain fell the front lawn and garden became fens able to transform
their loveliness, hundreds of leaves were left by the last tropical storm;
and Helen was saddened staring at the devastation of the lovely grass,
only the day before she got rid of those ugly weeds hiding the wild violets
and the crimson clove along the fence where birds built their nests...
I can imagine how helpless she felt seeing such devastation in minutes!
The faded timber door fought severe winters and they lasted night-long,
spring brought pleasant days, it stood open to greet their fragrance;
no thief invaded a house protected by good spirits and benevolence,
God was there and that made Helen feel at home where she belonged.
CHEPH 111: Chapter 6IX
The Matron IOLA
She was frowning at the bulkhead “How does this THING even Fly?”
It looks just like a giant dandYlion seed released into the wind.
The “Amaryllis Two” just sat glistening in the sun the primary one
Newtonia the third Earth from the sun. MarYlin Mist puckered her lipps,
she has lisped a bit from her youth she has had it from a child a little lisp from
the left of center smile. “Hello this is the MATRON IOLA”, she said not unkindly.
Bostonia has lost its most pleasant Matron, welcome to my IOLA to thy new
home Oh IOLA. IOLA neared the access ramp which was lowering she looked
just like a dear roe deer caught in a rubber tramp camp in the headlights of a
pickemup truck. Yes, but how does STOKKER make it run? Charlaxandroidone
The hydrogen and the water is converted from the water than the water is
reconverted to assimilate into FUNCTION. It is rally quite complicated eye can do
the mathematics of course and so can MarYlin Mist she is a mathematician’s
dream a nerd of ample proportions OH CHARLAX MARyLin
said just stop confusing the MATRON she is a newby just let her learn her duty.
On board THIS ship is pleasantness. Let STOKKER tell her He is so much
smarter now that he is sober. He knoes how to run this ship EYE paused
And did not tell her how STOKKER had failed to seal the damaged damper but
eye had let him alone then later fixed the resealer my self alone.
It is a secret process developed in 2004 by Charles Beau ford. How the
Hydrogen can be taken from the water and the water that remains then converted
back to portable potable water again. STOKKER does not even knoe
the process said charlaxandriodone. STOKKER was near the machine the new
TELEX machine intently recording his hydrogen damper manual again the eye of
this androidone was pleased. This is MATRON IOLA she will be riding to CHEPH
111 with us on the “Amaryllis Two”. MarYlin Mist went into the control room the
ship was at halffull capacity of the water UTUBE and the Hydrogen was almost a
third to the BARS. The Crew was now ready for the trip into the stars.
My love lies bleeding among the meadowbeauties, purple,
entangled by hairy caltrop around her delicate feet and ankles. Climbing upward,
its thistled fruit prick my fingers and palms; as I unsnarl the dodder from her full
lips, its stems strengthen around her sultry paps and loins, and the binds tighten
around her slender arms and hands, forced to the base of her back. I strip their
adherence from leeching upon her naked form, all the while cursing myself
within, and the puncturevines mysteriously vanish at her side.
I see the small spikes have left their marks. Then, I unveil her face
hidden by her tresses in a blue mist. My heart pounds for her; my eyes rush like
the nearby stream, and my bare body collapses upon her with a firm embrace.
From where did this evil come? To where did those spiny heads go? What
opportunity did they find to rush upon her? For my love never trembled or
tottered; she was never in idleness. She is young and beautiful, but now my love
lies dying among the meadow rues, the ravens walkaway. Onlook the
meadowsweets and the lark, who consoles my lovesick heart, as I prepare to
gather up her limp body.
Folding her arms across her breast, I cradle her neck and crown of
black curly locks with my left arm, and with my right arm under her sculptured
legs, I lift her out of the soft furrow. The colorful ribbons we had tied in her hair
bounce and sway as I walk the distance to gently lay her figure upon the altar (the
same altar to which she had been led to me) coiled with ornamental shrubs of
flowers in cymes, snowdrops and aster florets.
Within the garden's border of thornless rose bushes, I wash her body
with the evening dew fallen upon their petals, likened to silk cloths. Longingly
and lovingly, I wail before her on my kness; gazing upon her, coupled with the
heady scent of jasmine, I am held captive there, but urgency frees me to rise and
leave her body well-gaurded by an array of gladioluses, amaryllis and
sansevieria.
Wrote this for the contest but was to late as usual, guess the jokes on me.
My Amaryllis
Amaryllis your beauty so profound's me in the early spring
Brings off a beautiful scent as if your could initially sing
Calming effect for one and all to view and fully able to see
Developing in beauty among my flowering garden brightly
Eternal youth as when you were first a tiny ball of a bulb
Forthright to watch every step of the way as if you were small dub
Given off a profound beauty for at this special time of the year
Heartfelt color like a simple shepherdess goddess living so bright and
near
Initially, your color invites all to want see and one and all to pick
Joyfulness in watching you grow, so, so pretty and quite slick
Keeping my flower garden so bright and colorful and real red
Loveliness and learning beside my garden view of my floral bed
Meandering and meeting of all my flowering floral flowers
Nourishing them all as if they were like my children with powers
Often I pick some to make a special floral ensemble
Precious beauty now sits on my dining room table
Quickly I water them with my plant's herbal nourishment
Readily they flourish and spreads off a beauty of sweet scent
Spreading great beauty to all my family and friends
Timeless I hungrily talk to them and offer stories of pretend
Ultimately my family love's this beauty of red flower my Amaryllis
Vibrant hues I extremely appreciate with all my enthused happiness
Welcoming this Shepherdess Goddess while I'm so close and near
Xavier will be coming over and be my loving partner so quiet dear
Yearly I pot and plant my favorite plant this lively Amaryllis
Zestily, I drink and water it with care for she is my queen plant I really
must confess.

She carefully turned off her laptop and read the latest CHARLAX poem she loves
the way this poet makes his Private stories to be poems. Then she carefully
makes her way into the Newtonian City of Bostonia to recruit the crew for her
infamous star shippe.

Stokker was angry ITS NOT FLOWING he almost shouted his face was red and
he looked beaten like a charlaxoneandroid after a hard fight. WHERE is the
HYDROGEN???
Calm down I'm the voice of reason there is always a reason check the damper
again mabe you just confused it and it's not completely sealed at all??? Stokker
looked at me so thoughtful and he sighed a very different man he seems what
wonders sober seems to be.
He walked back to the damper and carefully reshut it making sure by touch and
feel that it was sealed and finally with an awful evil hiss the hydrogen began its
journey to the holding tanks near the engine where the awful accident had
claimed the "Amaryllis One".
On a much different and a longer day the poet will relate that story to ewe all.
MarYlin had gone into town with some of her friends she was recruiting the
mother of the ship the lady we need to make the little things we do in
housekeeping.
She was looking for a tall matron an older woman with a disability perhaps lame
in just one foot and tall just like an Indian. The hydrogen would now take some
several days to work into the holding tanks so off went Stokker to the shower. And
the androidcharlaxone went to his storage place to do what androids do there in
there place.
I hoped the matron that MarYlin has picked is brown of hair and just some gray
and likes this android after all is said and done for space can be a long long fun
journey on an interstellar craft like the "Amaryllis Two". Where love is true.

Stokker threw the damper switch and got out of his hot suit in recorded time. The
hypertexttransfer was completed.
The water began to reach the hull where it would expand to circulate in the
UTUBE to cool the hull and from time to time shower the MIST girl. The stokker
also for he was now reformed would shower and fill his larder with the life giving
stuff. We believed in groking water. The “Amaryllis Two” would soon be fueled
and ready for the transfer point.
The stokker looked up so thoughtful. He spoke. Very unusual for him to bother to
speak to me the CHARLAX android one. When it is time to toss the damper for
the hydrogen fuel transfer please attend me. Eye had to smile at his seeming
formality while in the reality of the carbonated mind of this android was no smile
forming.
WHY.? The question paused the stokker.
The ship will attend to that. He smiled a knoeing smile eye was just trying to see
iff any part of yew was still a human.
Of course not eye paused now.
Eye will come get yew for the transfer of the fuel.
Even stokker seemed surprised.
OKAY he sighed and went into his cabin.
Hypertexttransferprotocolhyperdrive had been invented by Charles Beau ford
Only four years ago about the same day that MARYLIN MIST had lost her first ship
and yes that story will also soon be told so please kind reader stay tuned to this
same channel to consume the poem of the poet the kind and gentle CHARLAX
one. And it will seem so fun.
