All Hands On Deck

Feedback - flight or fight – it’s due to enzymes.
God put it in our brain, safeguard for crimes;
fear is normal, a good thing many times.

Facts fog up when fear uses its strong-arm.
What is meant to keep us sheltered from harm
can fail just like any other alarm.

A freeze from fear forces all hands on deck.
When fears become phobias, take time, check
your fear can be a liar, a roughneck.

Facing the fact of a fear of failure
pray to God; ask others to help for sure.
With effort on your end, you’ll find a cure.

 Focus on the freedom you can achieve
 when your irrational fear goes on leave.

The Ray of Light

"HOPE"
                                  THE RAY OF LIGHT

AS THE SUN SETS,THE NIGHT APPROACHES,
MY NERVES SINK,MY HEARTBEAT INCREASES.
WITH THE START OF A NEW DAY,
THERE IS A HOPE,THERE IS A WAY...

I MAKE A PROMISE TO ACHIEVE MY DREAM,
BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY,
I FIND MYSELF, USELESS TILL THE BRIM.

I FIND NO RIGHT PATH TO TAKE,
I STILL NEED A LOT OF EFFORTS TO MAKE.
WITH A NEW HOPE EVERY DAY,I AM ALIVE
THOUGH INSIDE IN THE OCEAN OF TEARS,I DIVE.

THE SAME ACT EVERYDAY I REPEAT
TO INCREASE MY STRENGTH, THE WEAKNESS TO DEFEAT
BUT,AT THE END,I AM NO WHERE TO BE FIT.

THOUGH I AM LESS,I LACK CONFIDENCE,
THERE'S NO LACK OF WISDOM AND PRUDENCE.
I KNOW,I NEED TO HAVE FAITH ENOUGH,
I CANNOT BE,TO MYSELF RUDE AND ROUGH.

I KNOW,I NEED TO STILL HOPE,
WITH MY DEFICIENCIES, I NEED TO COPE.
TO ACHIEVE MY ASPIRATIONS,
TO ACCOMPLISH MY DREAMS,
I NEED TO HOPE,I NEED TO START
FROM THE BEGINNING...

INDEED TO SMILE,I NEED TO HOPE,
TO LIVE MY LIFE,I HAVE TO HOPE...

I HOPE TO SEE THE DAWN LIGHT,
I HOPE TO SEE THE SUN BRIGHT,
I HOPE TO SEE THE BLISSFUL NIGHT...

I HAVE TO WAKE UP, I HAVE TO LIVE,
I HAVE TO DO,I HAVE TO GIVE,
ALL THAT,IT TAKES TO REVIVE
ALL THAT IT TAKES TO SURVIVE.

THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY,
I NEED TO FIND,SO AS TO SWAY,
I HAVE TO HOPE,I HAVE TO HELP MYSELF
I HAVE THE WILL,SO AS TO TRY
TILL I CAN SEE THE LAST BRIGHT RAY...

EVEN IN THE DARKEST OF CLOUDS,
THERE IS A SILVER LINING,
IT IS THE "HOPE"
IN THE SKY,
THE LINE THAT APPEARS SHINING...

Broken

A picture paints a thousand words
What does your mirror say?

Victim
No control over life
Good things only happen to others

Victor
Achieve the impossible
Steel forged in fire

Your world is so full of anger and hate
You take your bad life out on everyone
Changing only the people and places
The pattern repeated over and over
Always in a fire and still not forged
Your useless dull blade

A picture paints a thousand words
Your mirror is speaking
But the words fall on deaf ears
Borrow my mirror and see
It says the same words as yours
Because it reflects a thousand words for you
But you only need to hear one

"You showed me the courage and strength
      to achieve all things- I hope you are proud."
                                                            by Poet

A simple man was he, one child of ten,
   who lived and worked the farm with family.
But stardust fell on him, time and again,
   he hid away to read his books to see

what life could offer him, and he'd give back,
   if he would leave the farm to chase his star
with talents that would keep his dreams on track.
   And so he left to raise his future’s bar.

Concerned for family and what he’d done-
   one son of three now gone, and only two
remained to work the land beneath the sun;
   but still, he followed stardust trails anew.

No school beyond eighth grade, he still pursued
   production of the tube-based radio,
in nineteen-thirty, when its parts were crude
   yet intricate- and he became a pro.

The stardust led him to a higher plane
   whereby in time he owned a factory;
employed so many workers who would gain
   good living in a time of poverty.

Oh, Dad, you hushed the stars- you did not fail.
   With inner strength, you followed their bright glow,
to choose this path, which led you to prevail
   and help so many people live and grow.

This gift of courage you have offered me
   to follow and make use of dreams to share;
to let our stardust paths lead on to free
   the will to seek the best on this life’s stair.

Premium Member The Walk of Sacrifice

I journey in thoughts in breathless strolls
every turn straightened, and bumps made smooth
my life whose trust in God, faith controls
pass sparked eyes, climbed smiles, the wealth of souls
perks in life that gift my heart and soothe

Be the stills of the night that shades day
the noontime of Spring and Summer Eve
and Autumn colors having their weigh
to impress snowflakes, window display
roam throughout my blest years I achieve

At work, everything is play by play
but I shake and bake, easy as pie
friends for lunch at a sidewalk cafe
at the church, had communion and pray
then trekked home, smiling that satisfy

The internal spirit externals
the facts of my life great from the start
each passing day juices my kernels
joy jogged entries, my daily journals
when my life part, find me in your heart.

Premium Member Our Mountain

We are born into this world
and placed into the fertile valley
of our dear, loving mother's arms...
into the peaceful and nurturing,
protected serenity of life.

And as time goes by, the valley
opens up into a field of beauty
and wonderment of life explored.
So soon the uphill journey begins...
the push to attain growth and goals,
and challenges to compete for
the rewards of a meaningful life.

And the hill gets steeper each day...
with strength and will we go on.
The upward climbs lead to levels
of flat plains where we rest and
revitalize for the journey ahead.

Moving on, we see our mountain...
that huge mound before us,
our chance to make our mark in life...
to reach that summit that defines us.
Looking up, it seems insurmountable;
but then, gradually, we proceed.
Up, up, we climb, and each winding
trail leads to another level of hope
and the thrill of accomplishment.

This is our mountain, our life, our
personal purpose, to achieve the top,
the potential individual to each of us.
At the top of our mountain is the
glory and fulfillment, and the vision
of peace that we have done our best.

Premium Member See Me

Am I your desire needs you want change
Heart's kindness touch depths, rendering virtual reality
Is it I who walk in peace you search endless;
gratitude of man great respect he be found
Is love weak our pain hunger thirst, revolution of
soul battling darkness
Who are we really that we don't see ourselves
See me, his beauty follows presence our journey
Image of portrait finely drawn the masterpiece

Is it war we fight inside that makes the monster,
a spirit must be guided to truth, eyes not to fear
Can it be we find strength in love we desire survival
We can achieve, even conquer being that breath,
choice isn't right or wrong but you hold
humanity destiny
Your attitude perceive's the arrogant prick you are
but you've fallen to world
Losing me while you lose your own dignity
See me, everybody fights me I'm easy to find,
I'm even there when your battles are fought

It's Unacceptable

Open your ears, patriots,
this is the new anthem
of the courageous souls;
nobody wiill be held to ransom.

It's unacceptable
to let the lion weaken its roar,
it's despicable
to allow disdain grow and smear
our values and principles
with dirt and grime;
our freedom is simply sublime!
shouts,
" We'll invade your country
and drag all into slavery. "
God is our sole witness,
our rage we'll express.

It's unacceptable
to mock ideals and principles
that are the solid foundation
of the greatest nation
that achieves the impossible.
No threat can shake
our devotion, it will not trumple;
we won't sleep but stay awake,
we'll renew our vows
to achieve our goal.
Keep those eyes on the frontier,
don't breathe fear.

Grandiose Wishes

I wish I could capture today
A pocketful of azure skies,
As I stroll through this scenic way,
Store it with photographic eyes,
And present it as a surprise;

I wish to collect in my hand,
Little trinkets of sunshine bright,
And gather those sunny pearls grand,
Scattered on the lake in dawn’s light,
Then none need be scared of the night;

I wish to hold a rainbow small,
Bottle some lightning and thunder,
I wish and wish somehow to ball
Some spongy cloud, and then plunder
A bit of moon's magic wonder;

I wish to store a jar of breeze,
Aurora's kiss of freshness sweet,
The scent of fresh flowers to freeze,
A glass of dew would be a treat;
If I achieve these, what a feat!
