The Magical Season
A joyous season is upon us
The sweet aroma in the air
As snowflakes twirl and beckon forward
Our feelings take on greater flair
The pine-filed scents are effervescent
The honey sap drips from the root
A twinkling glow is ever present
As trees make golden leaves unglued
The wind sweeps up the tiny currents
And fiery foliage strewn about
The message of the spacious forest
Of something grand that there abounds
The sweet aroma sprays the distance
The crispness of the air is fresh
And it allows to lend assistance
To yellowed flowers in the grass
The dew drips crystals on the surface
And they dissolve into the mist
As they achieve their fullest purpose
And give the needle pines a kiss
A miracle is in the making
The promise of a sweeter life
The certainty of something magic
Is whispering throughout the night
The joyous season
Hearts a-flutter
And stars are shining in the night
The place is still
Not even a stutter
As we are captured in delight
