You ask me dear
So many questions
All sincere
Yes I can hear
Answers meet questions
Far and near
~~~~~~~~~
You say it's true
Doubts and deep desire
Right on cue
Yes I pay dues
Faith and fate inspire
Fond review
~~~~~~~~~
You say be clear
In lovely passion
I love you
Yes I feel cheer
In loving action
Me to you
~~~~~~~~~
You say to me
Forever abides
Here and now
Yes I feel free
Love sits side by side
Let joy be
~~~~~~~~~
You touch and tell
Of moments magic
In plain feel
Yes I can spell
Of sense magnetic
Words can heal
~~~~~~~~~
You ask me when
Times turn old and grey
Will love stay
Yes I know then
Grand finesse portrays
Love funds ways
~~~~~~~~~
You ask me how
The future attends
Our plain feast
Yes I know now
Life's ongoing trends
Love blooms peace
~~~~~~~~~
You ask no more
Beyond that and this
Rainbow route
Yes I adore
Simple profound bliss
In and out
I want to write
Hope into a life,
Smiles that never sigh,
Gentle that abides,
A music that aspires to write…
Joy into a song,
Gentling the wind,
Coloring the heart gold,
Arising through the knowing…
Of a light who will not fade,
Glistening beyond the grave,
Remembering – in tones of praise,
Where He is, there is grace.
I want to write
Healing to the soul who grieves,
Blessings to the one who kneels,
Beauty to show the heart who sees,
Laughter to the song who agrees…
There is comfort in the wind
There is music in the trees,
There is a song that believes,
Where light is, there is breath…
I want to write
The moment when I believed,
The flames that I still seek,
The dance between this day
And the yesterdays that I held….
In my hand, almost like sand
Falling, tumbling, sinking
Beneath the earth, buried at birth
The wonder beyond thought,
The wonderful caught…
By a heart who knows
Wherever it goes…
There is a love that clings to those
Who simply believe
He is the way, the truth, the life
He is the moment when I find…
I want to write…
About the love of my life,
The love God designed,
The love that is alive – stirring
The story inside, the one who abides…
So I can write…
What I find – is light
Supplied by the vine,
The vine who feeds my soul,
The vine of lasting hope,
Where my story decides
The difference in wrong and right,
Is the love that comes alive
When Jesus speaks to a heart,
When Jesus leads a soul
When Jesus sends His Spirit, His light
So the story – I can write…
Is more love than ink,
More hope than yarn,
More glory than legend,
More God than nature!
I want to write….
About a love that never dies,
A love that came to life
When the Lord came to us,
Giving us hope that is worth….
More than my pen can inscribe,
More than my heart can devise,
More than my soul can compose,
More than anything in this world…
I want to write – His love
Across the lives of those who believe,
Across the world, where we’ll finally see
What it means to truly be free,
What it is to know Jesus in me!
When the rising tides of the storms of life assail,
My hope abides fastened secure to the Rock.
When the chilly waters cause my strength to fail,
My heavy anchor and God’s eternal love interlock.
When the blasts of fear come near my soul,
And the tempest my confidence can defy;
My anchor in the daring straits securely hold,
And firmly embraced in God’s loving arms am I.
My anchor keeps me safely moored in the wind,
Strongly tied to the Rock that commands the calm.
It keeps my vessel’s hull secure and me within,
And never drifts into the waves of a dangerous storm.
And when the floods of death make cables strain,
The hand of God holds tight against the wave.
So my faith in my Savior can fully intact remain,
And my hopes I retain secure and my anchor I rave.
Silence in the forest
Silence in the heart
Leaves in every color
Leaves, falling through rays
Light pouring out her grace
Early morning rainfall
Caressing my spirit – my faith
Abundant in prayer and praise
Snow kisses – chilling, blessing
With eager shadows, cool
Honest breaths, erasing dread
Creating a winter smile…
For the eyes of every child,
Including me
Tender words
From the one I love
kindness
Filling my mind with light
My heart with life
My soul with the wonder
From love that abides
Inspiring, shattering the night
The warmest welcome
From the dog who knows me
As its ally, its companion
The one it sees as genius
Even when I know differently
What thrills me most of all
Is the grace that smiles
Over my soul, inspiring, reviving
Refreshing so I can always know
He is living down deep inside
Where this love invites…
Shadows to fall away
And light to enter, reflecting
The wonder of His ways,
Escape from the darkest past
Assurance that He lives
And because He gives me hope
I can always know…
Love that grows and grows!
God does not play a child's game of hide and seek
You will find Him standing at the side of the meek
Do not search for Him behind a stone temple wall,
but He will hear your prayer when on Him you call.
Though His reply may not meet your expectation,
trust that He will guide you to eternal salvation.
His Holy Spirit is manifested when you're in need,
He sits at the banquet where on His Word you feed.
Inside a cavern is a place God would never dwell.
His presence is felt on mountain peaks, in each dell.
His home is the Heavens. Invisible to you He may be,
but you can find His hand in everything you see.
He abides in my conscience when I'm about to stumble,
and though I have free will, He helps me stay humble.
I hear Him asking me, "What path do you choose to walk?"
Fatherly advice, for I am a sheep in my Shepherd's flock.
When I read Scripture it's as if I'm listening to Him speak,
and I've felt Him wipe away tears flowing down my cheek.
He elicits every beat of my heart, for He gave me breath.
and He will be with me at the moment of my death.
Never, will I be worthy to look upon the glory of his face
for I am just a lowly daughter, and far too commonplace,
but I feel His tangible bearing when I need Him most.
Seek and you will find* that He is real, and not a ghost.
Since the time God created man and life had begun,
He's had no reason to conceal Himself from anyone.
From His all-seeing vision, none of us can ever hide.
These thoughts I believe, and in you I piously confide.
*Matthew 7:7
God, Lord Jesus, you are altogether Lovely,
sweeter than the honey.
You are strong, passion and compassion.
We have a perpetual date,
in this eternal embrace.
You are Love;
The essence, embodiment and personification and definition.
The love giver to us all; especially to the chosen.
Spirit sweet Love divine.
You are mine and mine is yours.
You first loved me, and I love you.
The Father Love shown.
Eternity and the throne,
where heavenly Love abides.
I say, I do, and do.
For you gave yourself for me, and others too.
I surrender to you, my all, in all.
Love sweet love in my heart.
It stirs in the silence,
Memories bursting from the heart,
Bubbling over with urgency,
Hungry appetites, ferocious cravings
Yearning for the music to start playing,
Harmonizing in melodies joined
By praise and prayer, yesterday’s dreams
So light - like the air, drizzling
resembling rains who wash away the dark,
Pouring out hope, joy, peace
All the beautiful that the broken heart needs
It arises in the misty morning,
Recalling the moments, so tender
Yet so strong – almost like the mountains,
Who cling to the skies,
Ancient promises for the clear, cool winds,
Singing like laughter in the glades,
Whispering pleasures – despite the pains,
Reassuring the spirit that there is a grace,
Beyond the loss, beyond the cost
Grace like His breathe breaking through the
Life who doesn’t see that there is hope,
Hope that never allows the heart to wither
Beneath the flood of lonely feelings
It troubles the waters of yesterday,
Looking for peace that abides in the wisdom,
Insight into the beautiful surrounding –
Yesterday, the memories… enchanting,
Astounding, startling the night with a glistening,
Beneath the stardust moments, a tenderness
Quiet and still, so very real
Even in heartbreak, His love brings a chill
His love, beyond truth, such a thrill to the heart
Though broken, it will be restored
By the One who frees the soul
from its heaviest weight, its worst dark
its hardest loss
Oh world, all swollen with pain,
The opulent smell emits an almost harsh refrain.
Languor fills the air as the sun still hides.
Behind a shroud of clouds, where it softly abides.
Every surface is damp as the rain falls heavier.
Oh, world, don't welt the earth; don't be a destroyer.
Don't shush the air; let it whisper its song.
Don't dry the water; let it flow swiftly and strong
Don't engage with fire; let it dance and ignite.
It injects warmth and ardor on cold nights.
Allow me to fit in and wander toward my goal.
Let me speak; let me share with every soul.
My voice needs to rant, rave, and roar.
To echo through valleys and reach distant shores.
Let me walk and let me talk with fire in my eyes.
Whenever there's a flame, words can reach the skies
Oh world, all swollen with rain,
Let me speak my truth; let me not be in vain.
For the earth is in need of a voice that is bold,
To protect and preserve, to break free from the mold.
To remind us of all our duty and care,
To cherish this planet, this world we all share.
So, don't harm the earth; don't wield it with greed.
Let's heal, nurture, and fulfill our every need.
Don't shush the air; let it carry our dreams.
Let it whisper hope as it flows in streams.
Don't tumble the water; let it quench our thirst.
Let it sustain life, for the best and the worst.
Don't be angry with fire; let it guide your way.
Let it bestow light and warmth every single day.
Let us walk and talk with passion in my stride.
Let us spread love and wisdom distal and wide.
As long as there's a flame, my words might fight.
Someday, what I say could inspire and ignite.
Let us join, constantly rise up, and transform.
A higher world, where love and peace will swarm.
In September golden day, so glorious and beamy,
As twilight stains the sky, a cynosure so dreamy.
Dusk abides, effulgent hues ignite the land,
And felicity abounds as we bask in daylight's sleek hand.
Penumbra kisses the horizon, casting a mellifluous spell,
Fugacious twinkles, as erstwhile avian dwell.
A demesne of pastures, comely and calm,
Where halcyon trees sway to the riparian psalm.
Harbingers of sunset, sunburnt and diaphanous,
Serenade the land with their soothing lullaby chorus.
Vesper whispers skid, such an elixir so tall,
Glamour and silence embrace, as the trees do enthrall.
In this bucolic scene, dulcet and radiant,
The purple hues paint a landscape so vibrant.
Slumber approaches, as the red heat fades
Epiphany dawns, a dramatic parade.
The horizon ablaze with refulgent light,
Lurid flames of passion, inflamed and bright.
Beaming through the breeze, the sundown delight,
A spectacular event, incandescence ignites the night.
As the gloaming swings to night, a symphony unfolds,
A dance of shades and emotions, stories yet untold.
In the afterglow, the world retreats,
To a striking melody, where each note meets.
Splendiferous sunset, resplendent and grand,
The nighttime sky bestirs, a resounding band.
Evenfall descends, with its dark flame,
A splendid display, a sight to acclaim.
The striking hues, such a painting divine,
Illuminate the darkness, with a radiant shine.
The nighttime sky, a tapestry of wonder and delight,
A symphony of colors, painting the night.
The evenfall whispers a tale so sweet,
As the moon rises, the night's heartbeat.
A symphony of silence, embraced by the dark,
A peaceful retreat, where dreams embark.
I know the tribulations you face
I know the laughter you keep inside
I know the race is too much for your pace
I know the tears you reveal and hide
I KNOW...don't remind me
I KNOW...can't you see?
You know me by now I think
Our hearts begin to sink
I know the fears you try to fight back
I know the remorse that abides by your side
I know vast grace will embrace you and get you right on track
I know the cheers you show off with your smile so wide
I KNOW...I'm the fool for thinking I'm wise
I KNOW...I've been believing in fairy tale lies
You think you know me to the extreme
Well, humility is above high self-esteem
I want you to have a good mindset
I can't stand, seeing you upset
And I gotta let go of utter regret
I bet you understand...you know , yet...
You don't know...
What I know...
I KNOW we have a tendency to be selfish
But, my wish for you is happiness, not anguish
I KNOW we will get along sooner or later...we will tread this Narrow Path together...all I say is true
But, we must meet each other's standards...be on each other's level...I promise I won't betray you
