HEART THAT ABIDES IN GOD WHO ACCEPTS OUR RIGHTEOUS WORKS
July 26 Heart for God Bible Meditations Based on Ecclesiastes 9-12
Key Verse – Ecclesiastes 9:7 Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
HEART THAT ABIDES IN GOD WHO ACCEPTS OUR RIGHTEOUS WORKS
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His empowerment
Indeed, shining midst sins’ defilement
While reinforcing our commitment
Surely afar from abomination-detriment.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His testimony
Indeed, bright though discouragements are many
Truly strengthening our faith when spiritually rainy
Surely beyond the glitter of easy money.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His holiness
Indeed, radiant against any unrighteousness
While refining our character by His goodness-steadfastness
Surely toward Christ-likeness.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His rulership-guide
Indeed, brilliant despite transgressions side by side
While leading our minds to decide
Surely around perfect will’s door to where we can stride.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His protection
Indeed, resplendent even during gloomy condition
While guarding our devotion and dedication
Surely along gracious compassion’s function.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His light
Indeed, luminous especially at iniquity-darkened night
While illumining our vision against unbelief’s sight
Surely upon prayer-supplication plight.
Our heart abides in God Who accepts our righteous works along His victory
Indeed, triumphant when feeling sorry
While subduing our transgression-caused misery
Surely over weakening doubt-worry.
