Black and white motives, it was simple;
The camera rolled before words came,
an adventure played on screen;
Technicolor breathed even more energy
into that delicious cinema magic;
It was all about the best way to tell a tale.

Once upon a time Hollywood had a story to tell..

As it chased what the dollars dictated
slowly the red carpet flames faded;
It didn’t matter who was creative
no chances were going to be taken;
Art locked out of every studio door
exchanged for recycled reboots;
No risk in more of a sure thing;
Now we are left with creativity dying;

Once upon a time Hollywood had a story to tell..

Work places know to keep off of topics
that are known to impede their business;
The film industry is not exempt from this.
Create the most compelling product,
leave out their allegiances keep their art.
Bring back all the ‘Happily ever after.’

Once upon a time Hollywood had a story to tell.

Before 18

Before 18
Is not funny any more
This crisis never end
In the third worlds
Every four years is same story
In different ways in Africa
Brothers and sisters dying
Every corner of the world
Is never a breaking news
Please show me the boss
Show me hiso office
He needs to see how
The young dreams are a nightmare

Before 18
Is not funny any more
Cos I was told that the youths
Are the great future of tommorow
Oh God could this be the biggest lie
I ever had to know
How ignorance and silence
To our needs
Becomes the out cry of every youth
As young as we are
From our early age
We are never far from abuse
Before 18

Before 18
Please I tell you
Is not funny any more
How this life of the third words
Is like a hell and a torture
Why must we always dwell on
Same brutality
Always trigger my spirit
To pull light in to darkness
Our life are always on same story
Our men are most commoner
Our women sexualities
Are not with moral no more
Our young women at teenage age
Are already enslaved to sex by poverty
That make me more crazy
In a dying world
Cos at our early age
In the third worlds
It difficult never to be abused

The ‘I-thought’ separates us from the heart,
assuming an identity distinct,
which causes pursuit of desires to start,
resting only when our soul is love inked.

Melding head with the heart, poised in the void,
the light of Self then is all that remains,
whence no longer by ego thoughts decoyed,
free from delusion, heart’s cleansed from all stains.

To reclaim the light which is always ours,
nothing need be done save remaining still,
whence divine magnetism heals our soul’s scars,
on surrendering to God, egoic will.

As we become the all, there is no wall ~
All that that is, is a benign bliss squall

Sonnet 18: William Shakespeare

Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st.
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Sonnet 18: William Shakespeare (my way)

In comparison to days in summer,
You are surely lovelier and milder.
Cold winds, at times, shake nice florets even in May,
Sadly, a summer’s life is short to make plenty of hay.
Though the sun is quite warm sometimes,
Its gold sheen is covered by cloudy climes;
Everything lovely doesn’t look pretty anymore,
By accident or quirk of fate it changes to be sure.
But I am certain your ageless warmth will not die,
Your beauty too with you will continue to lie,
Death would not gloat that in its shadows you lived,
Captured in my eternal verses forever you thrived.
As long as men live and can see,
This poem will be read and you will be.

Year 18 and a Half Ceiling Stare Thought

life is that seesaw battle that you do not desire to be on at times
seems all there is to do is work, pay bills, wish, dream, and wonder
on the computer screen, the details of a luxury beachfront resort is my bedtime story
on my knees i pray for the more important stuff
in my mind i am wrongfully questioning the wrong person for the wrong reasons
sometimes in the wee hours of the wee hours i just want to take a ride and never return
oftentimes in the middle of the day i want to lasso time like that dude in that movie wanted to lasso the moon
then the alarm becomes a burglar once again reminding my defiant ears as well as my naked eyes
maybe one day i will get there again....i think i'll wear black to work today

18.61
“For the deluded one,
even rest is an activity
For the wise,
even action bears the fruit of stillness”

Stillness within all chaotic movement external
Not by control but as a reflex orientation
Paves way to cognise movement in stillness internal
We may call this meditation in continuation

Meditation effortless
There being no doer
Presence in stillness
Has the Divine as the mover

Verse revisited on 02-March-2022

Let’s do a mind-body scan
To know constitution of man
We begin with the head ovoid
Senses and mind by ego buoyed
Our spiritual heart lying in neglect
Burdened by fear, can’t stand erect

Each half breath holds key to freedom
Void of polarity exchange in body prism
When all thoughts cease, we are at ease
Poised in silence, mode embrace-release
Ego recedes since we choose to feed it not
Head melds with heart, no longer fear fraught

The path’s so simple, ending our inner conflict
Thoughts, words and deeds, now love inked
Mind-body vessel becomes a love crucible
Grace in-pours, the complex now simple
We play out earth life in as is assigned
One with God, nothing to be divined

Doings are done without any fuss
We just go where God takes us
Ensconced in the bliss current
Aglow, alive and luminescent
Karma ends, life is but play
With love as our mainstay

Premium Member Be Always In the Fear of God - Proverbs 23: 17,18

Keep your heart guarded always
be not filled with envy at all
don't let others life entice you
to follow them will be your fall

Keep your eyes focused on God
be continually filled with His fear
making sure your hearts bowed
in reverence to God so dear

Make sure this is continually so
bowing to God in your inward soul
submitting your whole self fully
every day may this be your goal

This is for you an eternal future
in the fear of God to continue
always in a state of divine presence
knowing in reality Christ in you

This is your longed for hope
that it won't be ever put out
shining in your heart so strong
from your Lord's everlasting fount

( 'Let not your heart envy sinners,
but continue in the fear of the Lord all the day.
Surely there is a future,
and your hope will not be cut off.')

Premium Member Day Trip 2 18 2025

chill to take my breath away
the tailpipe streamers
this day trip must take place

a cozy talk
heater on sun-strength
Dad bundled up

dust, sweep, mop
clean and sanitize
drop and talk

olives stabbed
martini sipped
Dad dips
his glass
to Mom’s ashes

preheat air fryer
flipping burgers

preheat oven
turning frozen fries

drop and talk
my Dad’s alive

this day trip must end
with tailpipe streamers
wall to wall traffic

and a warm smile
and a hand
as my husband
helps me unload

drop and talk
after I text
my Dad
and he
texts back a red heart
and tells me
he loves me

Wems Henry Temmy Psalm 18

To know, as at when due, to travel into air farther
You being the lead, my friendly bellwether
For real, I won't have doubt to my bearing
And where exactly, a safe stone to lay head overbearing

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to hide, doing away sword

Without foul play to a late whistle blow
Send me sensitive signal to shine with peace throw
It would be evident my peace know no bound
After true divine measures have hit the ground

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to shine, resisters been outscored

Swift steps at a stance to making a difference
Might have violated endurance bid in ignorance
Marking out pace in one's own designated strategy
Deviating Father's supposed scheme, real analogy

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to walk with You in accord

My head; You built, You reinforce
Most times, my reasoning has no other source
You alone has always sharpens my points out of Thy reservoir
My aid in blue muse like soldiers' armoire

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to run, and be gracefully restored

A needy loneliness, I will treasure
Even when all it brings is displeasure
Lips; running ones, I will imprisoned
Until I am done that time be awakened

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to be silent and not been deplored

My true lying destination, I will unfold
Losing the diamond I've buried long untold
Many cards I've left behind, shall be dealt
Holding on to nothing, until nothing is left

Teach me, please,oh lord
Time to talk when truths have reward

A time being cool is hammered in silence
The forgotten memories are sharpened in accordance
To every path preaching emptiness and trying freedom
Becomes a solidarity; a brave and daring kingdom

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to fight, even for no award

It aches to enjoy music in insolence
Growing forms into a standard vigilance
And keep mute to everyday, its fear
The death's threat, for a staged cheer

Teach me, please, oh lord
Time to be watchful for victory adored

Premium Member Abortion Poem N Prayer 18

The summer before my senior year of college
I had the internship of my dreams
Was poised to apply to the best graduate programs in my field
I had casual sex with someone I had just met, got pregnant
Had an abortion

Six years later, I had landed my first big job at a venerable institution,
Was writing my dissertation
In the early days of my relationship with my current long-term partner
I got pregnant and had a second abortion

In both cases
I was not economically or emotionally prepared to be a parent
Nor was I willing to sacrifice my career goals
Which it seemed like I would need to do, for parenthood

Access to safe and affordable abortion services (Planned Parenthood, for me)
In the company of compassionate companions (women friends in the first case
My partner in the second) allowed me to make these difficult decisions
By the time I was 35 I was far enough along in my career to be an attentive

Loving parent and have a great job as a professor
Helping young people meet their personal and professional goals
It wasn’t easy to have two abortions
But I am fortunate to have had the choice

Will continue to do all that I can to make sure that my daughter
Her friends
and my loved female students have the same human rights
I have benefited from

Almighty Eternal God,
Please forgive me that had two abortions, Please grant me perseverance to stand up on my own, I’m not ready to be a mother yet but I greatly thank You for delivering Courage to me that although it’s the rarest quality of humans to have, I would like to do the impossible because I truly believe in You, grant me Fortitude to have determination in changing my life and patience to be a great mother to my daughter in Father Christ name. Amen.
