Localised Poems

DUST

DUST

The dust has settled in a thin layer
Fine at least in its tiny particle size
But not fine, as it indicates neglect
Almost white with a touch of grey
Speckled with miniscule dark spots
So ignorant of the effect it creates
Yet despite it all, more will accrue
Unless and until, breezes may blow
That will disturb the localised air
And nasal passages too, in a sneeze
Accidental, yet showing contempt
For all that lies there, merely as dirt
Found in crevices and on surfaces
Whether disturbed or otherwise
Can still persist, but in its own time

Premium MemberTranscendent and Immanent

within this lucid dream
myriad objects appear
although it is an illusion
yet appearing so real

our consciousness localised
within a specific organism
we feel separate
from God and the universe

this drama being enacted
within which we play a role
is merely the dance divine
conjured for our soul’s delight

there then is nothing to be done
save making our eye single
that as breath by breath we bilocate
we are both transcendent and immanent

as the all-that-is
localised in form
why’d we struggle
as we so receive
and also transmit
signals from Self
through this vessel

Premium MemberI Am

I Am existence
And non-existence
Held in womb of space

Localised in organic form
I Am yet the all there is
As bliss is my witness

Bereft of thoughts
As awareness self-aware
I reflect my light onto myself

There is no one here within
Save pristine presence
Essence of I Am

Premium MemberThought of the Day

given that space is an entity
within whose womb we are localised
to pierce the veil of space itself
we who are within it must disappear
that thus both transcendent and immanent
we become the vastness of space itself
in everything, yet impacted by nothing

ripples in harmony
with sacred geometry
require joyous resonance
without offering resistance
to the music that so resounds
in the womb of all existence
which we too are in totality
and yet in form localised
thereby forever blissful
aligned and complete

Premium MemberIn the Beginning

In the beginning
what we may call noumena
from a singularity unfathomable
the very first outpouring of God’s breath
created what we now see as vastness of space

but what space is we yet know not

the boundaryless inky black void of nothingness
a bubble of manifestation came into being
occupied by God motionless in stillness
He then created a pulse, the Word
that duality may herein pulsate

the Word is Om ~ sound of the sun

The womb of existence is space
liken it to God’s manifest omnipresence
unknowable, within all and yet standing apart
within which we’re localised as individuated entities
although in truth being inseparable from the all that is

the truth of ‘who am I’ we must discern

as such, since we are not this decaying organic form
to know who we are we must stop the flow of time
for which within the pause of each polarity shift
our attention if fixated in pristine silence
discards false identity revealing truth

that we’re living light in God’s image

be holy for I am holy

our Lords spoke to Moses

           of priests
           &the holy
sacrifices&
               cleanliness
               &laity in worship
orientated for all

our Lords spoke to Moses

of the presence
               of God
permanent
              yet localised
a tent of appointment
a visual rendez-vous
to tabernace anew

our Lords spoke to Moses

to be holy
            not commonplace
purified
sanctified
       a perpetual call
                               to all

our Lords spoke to Moses

of sacrifice for sin
supposing of blessing
&curses
             a twin

our Lords spoke to Moses

of allegiance&redemption
in
    covenant&pledge
    changing of ways
&
   reciprocation
                      instead

our Lords spoke to Moses

in
   scripture inspired
of love
         to others
                        neighbours
heartfelt
with strength
                   mind&soul
to
seek out
            completeness
divine grace
face-face

Estuary

Tidal flats reveal their light grey heads
They replacing green-grey sea in dots and dashes on the horizon,
They toy cheekily with the extracted tide, enjoying their dry sun bathing
An island of ginger sand, void of seabirds, spoils the sea-mud horizon
The tide stands poised, ready for its return journey
Precursory quibbles, sent to shore, make birds at float bob
An easily missed, brief localised splash tells of a tern diving
Orphaned seaweed florets appear to move while submerged in the shallow water
Boats confused and beached on the mud, leaning towards their angle of choice
Paddlers explore the shoreline and water up to the ankle
Crystal white flickers from the water as the sun is reflected from the rippling sea
The tide returns stealthily and punctually, floating stranded boats and refreshing the sunburnt mud
