Premium Member Out Past Kimba

Don't say too much.
Sparsity is preferable,
allowing space
for other things
to enter or at least
feel at ease
to approach and give
a sense of presence.

Take the wide,
flat plains out past Kimba.
If you speak,
the land will remain silent
and you will be alone.
But if you enter into the quiet
dreaming of the place,
hold it within
and become perfectly still,
after a while
the land will begin
to tell you its story.

You will learn to weep
and each tear shed
will lighten
and make room.
Only then
can you carry
with you a space
large enough to fit
what you have sought
and longed for
all your life.

Premium Member The Gates of Heaven

Last night I dreamed of heaven and I saw the pearly gates.
I saw what was waiting there for me, and it was absolutely great.
There stood all of my puppies each wagging their little tails.
Each one was there to greet me as I came upon their trail.

I saw Ginger and Summer, Kimba and Maddy as well.
I then saw Cujo, Taylor and the Gabs, with many a tale to tell.
I saw every beautiful dog that had been there throughout my years.
I even saw their wings as I dropped to my knees in tears.

I then saw my Lord and Savior he was standing there in their midst.
He was showing me some of his angels that I had loved and dearly missed.
I could also see my parents they were grinning from ear to ear.
They were also standing with their puppies I couldn’t believe I was finally here.

I could see them all but three, then my heart began to sink.
I didn’t see Bella, Lilly or my Lola in her studded collar of pink.
I couldn’t understand how heaven, would bring me such pain and strife.
Then I turned around and looked, they had stayed behind to protect my wife.

Verses Kisses

Verses kisses

How sweet is
my Phenomenal kisses
to taste
to feel
as sweet as guimaras mangoes

from desirous red lips
to meet yearning

puddle with love
inundate heart
fallen repeatedly
like thundering rain

breezing
gorgeous fresh air
to my soulmate
my kimba

if you could only
taste
my verses kisses

let it embrace you
with love
with light

*dedicated to my dearest Kimba*
