She was a kept woman
alone most of the time
up in her tower

the mistress on
the other side of town
out of the way

she was the other woman
and didn’t mind
it had its perks

she lived a life
of fantasy
love and vacation

unreal untrue
living a lie in shadows
on a bed of roses

Gaylane...

adversity the road well travelled...

we did not take the societal route...

there is no conclusion to your illusion...
married today-gone tomorrow
too many woman weep regretful sorrow...

self preservation, or divorce...
"no thanks, we enjoy Gay course"

you can talk amongst yourselves-
we must leave,
a more pressing engagement,

a place alone with her,
my choice my favourite...
to make love with her I would not miss
...to fall into her luring kiss...

this love, this society, you labelled-

we call being free, not a kept woman...
no great mystery...

but I'll tell you this,
this stroll I've taken I never looked back...

this love after twenty nine years is still magic...
how many straights can say that!

so please yourself it's your decision,
this Gaylane we travel this Gay love, you can criticise,

but remember your way doesn't
work, not long term, money is spent to advertise,
more and more people realise...

Gaylane is for the love wise...
