fabulous fabricated forlorn frenzied Franciscan fable
garnered garrulous geese gathered at Gloria’s gable
harboring a hangout for a hunter with Achille’s heel
identifying idiosyncrasies that are less than ideal
juggling jam-packed jokesters without a good joke
Keeping an eye out for kibitzers and kindly kinfolk
like-minded Lilliputian with a lullaby I like
manifesting mystical magic, then throwing down the mike

Premium MemberBorn In the Year of the Monkey

Being born in the Year of the Monkey did not affect me at all
Except I love surprising, tricking and playing with people.
Trees are my favorite places to be and I hang upside down often.
I like the chitter chatter of lunchrooms, so I guess I was wrong.
It affected me a tiny bit.

I am child-like, not childish, but some people do not understand.
The other ones who were born in the Year of the Monkey do.
They are my most avid fans, playmates, and confidants.
We gravitate toward each other, speaking of silly, fun things.
Banana and peanut butter pancakes? Me too! Me too!

You loved the Curious George books? Oh, yes,
And the man in the yellow hat. We resonate with each other.
We are the jokesters, the players, the thrill-seekers.
We are the ones born in the Year of the Monkey
And we all do it well with a sense of fun.

1582 France switch from Julian calendar
To Georgian calendar
Does it matter
Then council of Trent
No pun intent
 Hindu calendar spring equinox
I bet you thought this was a poem , but guess what
Failed to recognize
The new year moved from April 1st to January first
Butt of jokes
Cruel pranks and hoaxs
Paper fish placed on their backs; Poisson d'avril;
Symbolized uncivilized
Young gullible person reality really made fun of
A jokes by jokesters
I bet you thought this was a poem
But guess what
And this forum
This did I mention
That I mentioned that I forget to give you attention

The Abcs of Puberty

Altered, boisterous, confounded, disruptive, energetic, fine-tune, growing.
Hyper, inquisitive, jokesters kindling love, mystified.
Nervously obsessive, pubescences question radical substance, surprising.
Teasing, uncontrollably visiting wild, xanadu youthful zest.

A Day In the Life

A Day In The life

A day in the life of a shattered boy,
Who grew beyond the use of toys.
Growing legs and a growing mind,
Grew beyond his wanted time.
A frighten child, a timid lad,
Who gave life all he had.
But a secret he would never tell,
Kept him in a solitude cell.
Haunted by touch, afraid to feel,
For the nightmare were all too real.
At sixteen he tried to run,
From jokesters having fun.
Reliving days he rather forget,
Kept his fuse constantly lit.
At twenty-two he took his life,
To be rid of the raging strife.
In a graveyard, three rows deep,
A victim was laid to sleep.
A frighten child, a timid lad,
Who gave life all he had.
Now his candle no longer burns
For life gave little in return,

Amusing Pastime In the Air....

Up high...
gracefully moving in it's circular motion
an Eagle soars between the sun and the earth...
local ravens,those earthly attendants,
rise to playfully pursue their majesic friend...
their jovial caws and beak nipping,an aerialist sport,
after a while,becomes a distractive annoyance...
so...with a tip of a wing,and a tilt of the tail,
the Eagle fastens itself upon a thermal and
effortlessly,glides away toward calmer space,
....smiling at the jokesters left behind....

Premium MemberAll Fool's Day Sonnet

The wolves are out howling at the full moon
Jokesters are next and will be here real soon
I am holding tight to my silver spoon
See you in Dodge City when it’s high noon

My heart skipping and jumping as it beats
Knowing this day will be a fancy treat
Some folks are waiting to turn up the heat
I like this day because it is so neat

All Fool’s Day is remembered far and wide
With a smile I think I will stay inside
My heart will sing and also try to hide
Whisper All Fool’s Day and stand by my side

The wolves are out howling at the moon
Jokesters are next and will be coming soon!
