Halfway Through the Dream, I Stopped

He called for my help and hurried I came
I helped as needed, it was a piece of cake
Then at the side of my eye
I saw the hidden knife by
His acting was so good, I was an easy game

I thought of so many solutions
To this horrific revelation
I thought of using some gas on him
I thought of locking the door behind him
No knife on my back, so the dream was due for cancellation

I am proud of my subconscious
Pulling out in the middle of the heat was very courageous
No screams without sound in my dream
No running without speed in my dream
And my back was still smooth, good morning precious

God's Gift To Humanity

God gave us a gift
this blue marble we call Earth,
He had a divine plan
during the Universe's birth.

He scattered the stars
throughout the galaxy,
His paintbrush was never put down
He was thinking of you and me.

The planets were created
so we wouldn't be alone,
it is nice to travel into space
away from our blue and green home.

We should think more clearly
about what He's done for us,
stop and smell the roses
instead of making a big fuss.

We are ruining our home
by polluting the air we breathe,
instead of loving our gift every day
something that was created for you and me.

We fight over a piece of dirt
one that's owned by everyone,
God holds sadness in His heart
to see the children we have become.

God's gift to humanity
was created from His heart,
I take pride in it every day
and am thankful for His beautiful art.

I was sitting and watching t.v. and I had a couple of lines in my head I couldn't seem to lose. I decided to sit down and write this. After the first couple of lines, the rest of it was a piece of cake.

I Will Wait

I will wait
I will wait till the sun falls down
Till the moon goes away in a frown
Till my name’s no longer a noun
I will wait till my dress is no longer a gown
Till I no longer live in a town
But I’m six feet under the ground

I will wait for at least a whisper
Till I escape the noise in a bar
When I don’t have to read a star
Till I feel your voice not far
And my thoughts it does mar
Till I hear your call and say sir
And im sure its you father
I will wait

I will wait
For im clear you never forsake
Clear as the lake
For indeed I you did make
And thou it was a piece of cake
But your breath for me you did take
And have loved me for my own sake
So here I am wide awake
Till my thoughts you overtake
And I will wait for eternity make no mistake
This is me saying I love you (a retake)
