Cusher-Ball playoff

gutter edges of the interior
usually located near the front
the edges, the edges
the perfectly binded edges
oh love devine
might I speak you
as lover
we as one
oh love devine
speak me as yours
speak me true
as I might tell the world
you are mine
>>>>>>SHE ANWSERED>>>>
what makes you happy
what makes you mad
are you less trusting
when you are sad
before tommorrow
what is defined as us
love faith and understanding
you define us
guess I can do it
love, to define
what is love
that one of a kind
endearing and specials
most of which
it's all so much engaging
--------------------------------
there's music in the air
inspiration for love
what's better than love
whats better than love

the oh I

the ah oohs
the perfection of beauty
i say to you
what's in the question
what's it all about------

Re-Inventing Yourself

The day I found out I could re-invent myself,
Was the day I came down off the shelf,
And became, more than just a one dimensional elf.

Inventing Peace and Harmony

Humanking our species
seemingly knows no bounds

When it comes to grandiose
design's inventions and creation

Matched only by our inherent
limitless thirst and capability
for then destroying and killing
everything we built up

The only thing we seem incapable
of doing is loving thy neighbor
and geeting along in peace
and harmony

And this is not fresh new
information or a revelation

Worst of all is if history
has not taught us any
lesson at all

Is that if we haven't
found a means of how to
resolve or fix the problem

Of our eternal relentless
bloodlust by now

We probably sadly never will

Re-Inventing

An easy concept once—now turned difficult,
made that way by inexorable time.
Rolled the dice before with nothing to lose and 7’s,
now bets come due.

Gathering threads of what has been
What colors, what patterns and texture,
for what purpose, what has worked out,
what gave pleasure or pain,
fulfillment or emptiness.

Now with those same threads
to weave a different pattern.
To roll the cup with the dice again
now that the horizon has changed, now constricted.

How then to weave, to re-invent?
No signal posts for street signs, no maps, no bread crumbs.
Just the limited view
with the gun-metal clouds, the scudding cold rain.

People known all your life moved on-
with their own threads to weave,
their own magic to make,
their own songs to sing.

Now alone,
to weave,
to re-invent,
One thread at a time.

Inventing Time
David J Walker

The ancient argument of
what’s been done

Measuring the
Rising and the setting
of the daily sun

And how long the night
might last
And all that has passed

Between the birth
and death
Of everyone

Described by the scribes
Of the horologist

With too much time
On their hands

First of all a spider falls out of the sky
Landing on your head
Which is not funny because it is a heavy spider!
So you fall down into a potted plant

Wood ticks begin crawling up your arms now.
You have to use your controller to smash them
If you leave even one, you will pay later for it.

You have a choice now. Enter haunted castle
Or enter haunted tree.
Something is screaming “Don’t go into the castle”
It is up to you to decide

Because there are foolers in this game
And if they fool you they steal some of your points
But here is the tricky part. There are helpers too.

There are witches, goblins, ghouls, and gargoyles.
They steal your coins if you are not careful.
You have to eliminate them quickly.

Draculas, devils and other evil demons are
curiously on your side; you have to remember
which ones to kill and which ones are helping you.

Trickier still – as you play the game the goblins and Draculas
can change roles, always keeping you on your toe.
The game is called “Watch your Back” – Good luck!

Cat
Stares at
The floor then
Smacks at the air
Jump, sprint poofy tail
Repeats process
Clearly she
Is so
Bored!

INVENTING THE PARADISE OF BLISS

Up above the clouds beyond the azure sky
a surreal haven they say lies at astral high,
a transcendent dreamy domain of God
where in glittering meadows angels plod.

Heaven’s beauty wrapped in golden sheen
human beings on earth have never seen
before much desired nirvana they attain
and until the access to paradise they gain.

They join there the kin who departed early,
begin afresh a new life full of divine ecstasy.
Merging with the absolute, the Brahman,
the soul reaches the ultimate destination.

We, the earthly, don’t know where heaven is,
let’s invent in our lives the paradise of bliss.
