Inventing a Video Game

First of all a spider falls out of the sky
Landing on your head
Which is not funny because it is a heavy spider!
So you fall down into a potted plant

Wood ticks begin crawling up your arms now.
You have to use your controller to smash them
If you leave even one, you will pay later for it.

You have a choice now. Enter haunted castle
Or enter haunted tree.
Something is screaming “Don’t go into the castle”
It is up to you to decide

Because there are foolers in this game
And if they fool you they steal some of your points
But here is the tricky part. There are helpers too.

There are witches, goblins, ghouls, and gargoyles.
They steal your coins if you are not careful.
You have to eliminate them quickly.

Draculas, devils and other evil demons are
curiously on your side; you have to remember
which ones to kill and which ones are helping you.

Trickier still – as you play the game the goblins and Draculas
can change roles, always keeping you on your toe.
The game is called “Watch your Back” – Good luck!

.... I was afraid you were telling story of your recent gardening misfortune! Have read the comments. Funny, fast paced. 'Granny's Garden' was the predominant (only) game played in school in 1985. There was absolutely nothing educational to it, so go figure!

No one. This was a prompt to design a scary video game for a 9 year old boy who would be the judge of the contest. Mine was the only entry, so the contest got scratched. GRRRRR.
