Intend Poems

Premium MemberI Intend to do more lollygagging

lollygagging is something I intend to do more of
because I am older now
many would say OLD
I despise that word

I lollygag here there and everywhere
pausing in between lollygagging to watch tv,
play word games, and play with my two dogs
wait a second.
Isn’t that also lollygagging?

Loving my retirement moments
I tried to lollygag this morning
but I had a doctor’s appointment and an EKG
and no one let me lollygag for two and a half hours
This infuriated me

God Intend That Killing End

How will killing ever end?
here is what God did intend;
His Son to us should send;
Much time with them spend.

With them both we will blend;
Church service again attend;
Saw coming around the bend;
My hand to them shall extend.

We Wondered What God Did Intend

We Wondered What God Did Intend

Always wondered what God did intend,
When a terrible tornado he would send;
Wind with power,
And rain shower,
Bringing things we built to their end.

Instead of Suspend Do Intend To Send

Instead of Suspend Do Intend to Send

What I want to do is instead of suspend,
And should do is to go ahead and send,
For a while thought;
My message sought,
Was one I did intend and no one offend.

When I Die - I Intend To Sleep In Peace

When I Die – You will have peace

When I eventually die
It won’t matter so I won’t cry
As what’s the reason for wondering why

I came I saw but knew not what
I struggled to find it all out
Never to ever know
Why I am here or where I go

Then it hit me
That I am here just to be
As I am not you
And you’re not me

As my life was only mine
So is yours in your own time

But I hope together we might just be
Living life somewhere eternally

Maybe at last sleeping in peace

God Does Intend To Send

God Does Intend To Send

So our sins can finally come to an end,
How much money will we have to spend?
Dollars and cents;
So much suspense;
An estimate God does intend to send.

When I still did sin day by day;
God would always know anyway;
Came to terms;
Were no germs;
In my room again made me stay.

You have to read Forward Day By Day.

Weekend Intend

Weekend Intend

Week begins and ends in same weekend;
During each many things to do did intend;
More battles of our minds again are brewing;
Gave up and nothing had ended up doing,
If rules were to bend would you I offend?

Intend To Attend

Intend To Attend

Your attention want to apprehend
And also greetings to you extend;
Make sure thought is in your mind;
To everyone should be ever so kind;
Always attend church do intend.

No Intend Offend; Intend Ascend

High-frequency T.V.'s and Mp3's-
fortune five-hundred execs
getting high on profit specs,
and migratory bird disease.

We live in a time where
teenage single mothers still have sex,
and the majority recieve hourly checks;
we all look on with an empty stare.

Illegal plants but legal drinking;
everyone is worried about what they wear.
They say it's bull, I say it's bear.
Fast-forward movement prevents forward thinking.

Prosperous few in a prosperous nation,
good on top, but better off below.
Destruction kills but also brings re-creation;
makes it easy to see some's inspiration.
High rise towers falling to their knees,
everyone wants, but forgot how to say please.
Tragic flaw pops up to say hello;
cross-examination of moral desecration.
