I'm addressing the Poetry Soup community, not with divine words,
for none of us come close to being righteous. Hurting the feelings
of poets who have suffered a loss is an act of self-righteousness.
Never would I try to stifle someone's poetic art
The words and phrases from their every thought
Most often their lines come from within the heart
So, it would be cruel to say things to tear it apart.
We fill pages writing about the change of seasons
Love that was lost without the knowledge of reasons
We honor flowers and holidays and our precious pets
calling poems that honor them dumb; my ire it begets.
I don't consider myself the stuff of nothing... not ever
Nor do I find such insulting phrases to be clever.
God has given gifts to poets to be put to good use
One who writes insensitively is wrought with abuse

A leaf on a big tree was happily hanging
Favorably for every passer-by just to see
He was appreciatively coloured green
Like a bean, he was very much attractive
A treacherous wind rose up to shake’im fall
Forcibly, on the ground he landed green
He stayed’n suffered some time unseen
That was the moment’s norm to endure
On the ground, he all lied dead wondering
Why the bitter wind slaughtered him untimely
But he learned the truth was alive, not a lie
Black, red’n white ants gathered’round to dine
Eaten gluttonly, he suffered insensitively
Failing to feel the odour of the enemy
Who tiptoed to pitilessly extinguish him
While on the ground, he was lying powerless
But a generous wind to save him has blown
Him up like a living butterfly in the sky
Courageously, a new life he’ll have to try
Posing on a new branch of any big tree
He had died, but a new life he’ll remake.

Some don’t know of you and suffer
Some refuse you and fall in a pit
Some don’t think about you and deteriorate themselves
Some ignore you and insensitively live
For me, trying hard to follow you, but can’t do well
You gave us heart to feel beauty
along with beautiful nature
You gave us ability to create
Music, paintings and poems
to comfort ourselves and others
Even if someone hates me
I hope I can follow your example
I hope...

All the gym's a stage
And all the pale boys merely players;
Unconvincing ones, too.
At the theatre entrance
I part with pride
For a curious form of Vaudeville.
The maxims of inertia invert.
No longer are the masters
Of the ruling class.
To make up for their deficit,
They perform:
Cackle, strut, and prance disgustingly,
Strive insensitively to sound “street,”
To be street.
(Street actors.)
It must be black magic
To float over concrete,
To steer balls
Into circles.
Audience: the girls and I,
But especially
The dark magicians themselves,
Who either sponsor their imitators,
Or disapprove and sneer.
Cheated of my cash again,
I hurry backstage
And recognize the actors
Without their costumes,
Sporting familiarity: Hollister, Jansport, Abercrombie.
The bell rings; they exit;
The shoe polish
Washes off their faces;
They morph
Into rich white boys
Once more.

Avalanche of thoughts
Flooding and tossing
in the cold valley of mind.
It attacks by uneven edges
in all the seasons insensitively.
A sincere wish
to silence this tumultuous..
I sought refuge for an arena
where thoughts hardly exist.
The strongest desire made me
fall onto the lap of aurora.
The delicate calmness sucked
the coldness of clamor
that was deafening.
A soothing sensation
I felt never before.
Unattached completely
from everything, everyone.
The light, lightness and joy
I experienced is beyond words.
I could feel invisible wings
taking me to higher levels.
on the wings of aurora.
The luxurious tranquility
leading to fireworks
of blissful moments.
I wish to remain there forever
While making it as my eternal abode..!

Mr. Limbaugh, such a clown,
Insensitively struts
Within his old-time universe
Where women all are “sluts.”
Contraception is an option
Used by all who need it.
Health care givers must comply;
The law has guaranteed it.
Yet when someone makes her case
Where access is denied,
Rush attacks and publicly,
A woman’s vilified.
He called her “****” and “prostitute,”
Then took it up a notch –
Said she should post a sex tape
So that everyone could watch.
The world is filled with pompous fools
Whose ignorance astounds,
But someone has to shut them up
When they go out of bounds.

Think First
Unintentional
intimidation occurs
insensitively.
