Injunctions Poems | Examples

Thou Shalt Not

The world is not driven by greed
it’s driven by envy …
Commandment 10 is carved in stone
positioned at the end
Where old injunctions miss their mark
a covetous reminder
Desirous of another’s place
—the devil painted green

as if drawn by an invisible jury

the mood inched closer

to adjunction

incrementally and with

unbearable slowness of progress

it nibbled away at sizeable apathy

pinched a tiny chard of gloom

until the clouds burst into silent tears

not without questioning the sanity

of its success neurons returned

to previous still rusty function

redefined normality

of what was to become

not without mocking

waste and waistline

as if to say

you need a belly ring for flotation

it will ground you when levitation

takes the mood swings too far

the verdict not guilty

merely colluding as a minor offence

released on bail

no further injunctions

and hard work ahead

Ridicule

Covid 19 was viewed as the virus of the Chinese nation
It was even echoed by the Head of a very big nation
But it has now spread to all the European nations
Ravaging both the Asian and the African nations
Also breaking the arrogance of the American nations
Eating up the luster life of all the global nations

The lesson is don't ridicule any constrained nation
Because you too can follow in their succession
That is part of The Almighty God's injunctions

Story of Independence

The resources of India were medley,
the areas were uncoiled from her posture.
We were indifference,
we homage to the dictators.

But they ne'er venerable those words
those were hard vintage for us,
they set about the verb
we started to loose our nerve.

As they recovered their senses,
the life of Indians became limp
the narrow domestic walls were built
the Indians were tireless striving for win.

They founded the way to clear stream of reason
to make the deary deserts sand of dead habits
conditions,of her for achievement.

Spent 200 years under injunctions
twisted by dungeon,
the country was awake
from the gift of sleep.

The foreign lost its way.
The Indians got what deserved they.
They got the unforeseen win.
All the futile one exiled from the country.

The Indians sedately settled in free India.
Everyone started to amble in their own garden.
15.August,1947wasv sealed with amethyst
it got the special amber days.

After the exuent of dictators,
they got their Independence
we became democratic.
This was the 'Story of Independence', we got.

Rumor Mill

Crank up the innuendo spindle machine,
I predict an uptick
in textile conjectural manufacturing
Tabloid logs of disparaging hardcore data
come rolling on a gossip conveyor belt
Lies and self-promotion gets shaped
into a loose fitting, fabricated article
Woven for profit,
using speculative material
cheap as they come
The rumor mill is on a rickety hum
Paparazzi garment products
getting poorly reported news labels stitched on
Unreliable eyewitnesses
are making that old lying metal beast
groan as it run
Forcing half of the naked victims to get
dressed up in lawyer fancy worded injunctions
And the other nude half
racing to get their full metal jacket guns
Seems the off switch never gets turned,
as the rumor mill continues to churn
Cranking out dubious scandal grade clothing ...
Reputation buyer beware
of public paucity for consumer scarce loathing

Gift of Joy

You warn me that our bond won’t last,
That time and space will drive away
Our love, whose passions cannot stay
Our lives’ injunctions once they’re cast.

I lend compassion to your doubt,
Though I already know full well
That heartfelt ardor cannot dwell
For long where wisdom’s yet to sprout.

I’d rather hide this knowledge deep
Within my mind and tread along,
Because what binds us is a song
Whose gift of joy’s too hard to keep.

Can You Forgive Me

Forgive all my attempts
To make you a magician
Coming to you in dozens of time
Like a musician and an artisan
At times like a comedian.
A true art of chameleon in religion clothing
Approaching you only for assistance
Never making a remittance but
always giving you the remnant
Even on that i failed to ruminate
But act like a ruminant
I used every instrument of the
mathematician (that on tithe)
Neglecting all your epistles to the
Corinthians, Ephesians,
Philippians, Colossians.
Especially, the one to the Thessalonians.
I omitted the acts of the Apostles
I did not take after the act of Joseph of Arimathea.
These portray the true heart of a politician
and not a Christian.
Forgiveness is a decision
Forgive and forget Is a household song
How do i deal with the incisions?
To be safe from infections and perversions
That leads to perdition without neglecting my
friends affection and persuasion
That is the nub of this notion
Only by your injunctions and inscriptions
It may be by information for reformation
I can make the right corrections
I must reach perfection
O Lord can you still forgive me?

Premium MemberBird Lady

City and county judges have ruled against you.
Despite the court injunctions, you still feed the birds.
There you are again, up at five-thirty in the morning.
You have thousands of seagulls and pigeons flocking to the street.
The noise they make can wake anybody up out of their sleep.
They defecate all over. The street is matted in white.
Those flying creatures are insalubrious. They bring diseases.

Birds get plenty to eat anywhere else they fly.
They can cover hundreds of square miles in a day.
You feeding the birds is just like putting Donald Trump on welfare.
You also have to steal to feed your dogs and cats.
How can you keep seventy-five of them in your house?
Are you the reincarnation of St. Francis of Assisi?
I can’t wait to see the day you are evicted.
