Inexorable Poems | Examples

Inexorable

I want you to come to me
Like the moon comes to the sun
Like an inevitability
Like dawn after deepest night

I want you to come to me
Like waves breaking on the shore
Like a natural order
Like calm after a raging storm

I want you to come to me
Like the moth drawn to the flame
Like irresistibility
Like sweet release from exquisite pain

I want you to come to me
The oxygen breathing life to my fire
Like symbiosis
The reciprocal synergy of desire

I'm doing my best, at what I can, I've absorbed some
Life from boy to man, uncertain at times, now i find
Times are uncertain..' Much fear and denial while some
Are tearing the curtains.' The established fear-mongers
Peddle; the lies, same as before, so much sympathy? homilys
DIsguise; and furore.' A main threat is something will be taken away'
As such is attempted, by night and by day you recieve your
Matter and always you pay, as the object decreases its value
But hey.! When you're all done chasing, and storing; adoring' all such
You in turn; will be offered as goods, pretty much! You'll be stored up
And cleaned up, and boxed up, for ill or for good? you get eulogised
Lionized, maybe buried at sea.? Or feted then cremated?
Or a diamond could be.? Its all human mullarky, from the
Start to the end, while someones always paying, Its death and Taxes my freind !

An old man set in his ways
He picks up cigar smoking
Good luck getting him to quit
He's intransigent

The Inexorable Snake

The snake slithers on
An old bird sees and shivers
Another door shuts

Another candle
A chin held in empty palm
Gloom on floating bloom

The butterfly flies
From the tightly held old chest
For another rose

For sure none can know
The black emptiness before
As well as after

In between this pearl
Maroon dunes in the blue curl
Pink thrill you unfurl

In his hall no dance
The snake has devoured the toad
Generates deep dance

Inexorable Fate

INEXORABLE FATE

                                                Inexorable fate

                                               --all joy is lost

                                               Vanquished am I

                                               Sea winds tossed.

No wave of death will set me free--

                                       Guilt-forced breath has ravaged me.

                                       My heart's delight I've sacrificed.

For dire neglect I paid a price.

The lust of Fame ate precious time.

                                               I sacrificed my love sublime.

                                      Inexorable fate--pure Joy has fled.

Vanquished is hope--my Love lies dead.

Inexorable Amity

The wind is strong, the sky so gray,
The storm seems not to abate,
Your heart embarks on peril voyage
o! he falls into the abyss of disarray

The storm is great, the dust forms cloud
The dust is like a vibrant ocean tide
The heart is in the heart of Sahara
o! she sees an oasis afar

Having a genuine and candid pal
Amidst this ferocious weather
Is like drinking a cold water
In the heart of Sahara

With them, our hearts are mended.
Like the celestial Angels,
they hold us up when
our wings are broken
