A Climb with a Dead Dog

A windy blow
uphill all the way
dog running ahead
we are going somewhere
we are going to the edge

to the edge of a steepness

Climb dog climb

we are both pulling at a leash
mine is long and inelastic
dog has a bone in her soul
she won't let it go

I got a rope for my life
in case that life gets stuck
on a ledge
or in case it doesn't

Blow wind blow

my darling is dead
the howl in my head
keeps me doggedly panting

Dog looks back
deep brown eyes
wide

the dead
see the top of every climb
see beyond

She is a ghost in my mind
dog will go no further
she sees the yonder

her concerned bark
a warning
about the rope

the end of my rope

Truth and Lie Poetrix

truth is inflexible inelastic
           the lie in reverse
it is fully elastic and malleable

A Climb With a Lost Dog

A windy blow
uphill all the way
dog running ahead
as if we are going somewhere
we are going to the edge
the very edge of a steepness

Climb
dog panting
maybe me breathing
both pulling at a leash
mine is long and inelastic
dog has a bone in his soul
he won't let go of it
I got a rope for my life
in case a life gets stuck
on a ledge
or in case it doesn't

Blow wind blow
my darling is dead
the howl in my head
keeps me doggedly
clambering
bent to the gale
Dog looks back
black eyes wide
she's seen the top of the climb
knows the ghost in my mind
will not go further
her worried bark
a warning

Mr

BOUNDED.
I'm so lost in a place I know too well,
I'm equally broken and confused,
I'm just lonely in the midst of people,
And I'm surrounded by beauty and the beast.

My life is someone else's idea,
Someone stole my past and my future,
And wrote my own stories,
With the ink of my tears and blood,
And the emotions I seriously fear.

Daily, I cry and try,
In my perfect imperfections,
To erase the pain of solitude and lack,
With an amplified silence in my voice,
But all remained as inelastic as a wooden spring.

I'm bent like a wand of willow weaved round an empty dream,
Representing a symbol of emptiness and sorrow,
It's hard to be myself when I'm a mystery and victim of circumstance,
Because I'm bounded by the narrow fences of life.

Nerdy Confessions

Hey babe, I have a confession to make.

When you and I first met, a perfectly inelastic collision must have happened,
Because now all I can do
is to stay by your side.

When you and I first met, I know we’re a one-to-one function,
Because you are
My only solution.

When you and I first met, You got me falling for you,
and I can’t stop
According to Newton’s first law.

Babe, so tell me that you love me,
Because you are the
Counterclockwise torque
That is turning me up.

Tell me that you love me,
Because if I am silver chloride
You must be nitric acid
The only one that can completely dissolve me
And break into my heart.

Tell me that you love me,
Because I want to know that we are not two lines
On different sides of a vertical asymptote
Whose futures shall never cross.
Give me a chance to be your nth degree taylor polynomial
That is tangent to every little bit of you,
So tell me that you love me.

Homunculus

Ago I watched a woman coax
A fellow back from death.
Sand clung to the drowned
Man's shoulder, briny fluid
Dripped from clustered hair
Breath pushed lung to throat

In that moment inelastic life
Crashed back upon the dead
like a shadow tsunami
A curl of pale and bilious gas
Fumed from chimney nostrils
Solidified in black to wight

A crowd appeared though I alone
Observed that embryonic beast
Queasy, shivering afright,
I marked its flight beyond the foam
And with a sudden acumen
retrained my sights on death undone

Anon the surly imp invades
My repose, persists, cajoles
Courses as the Golden Horde
Across the spear grass steppes
Lodges of despondent darkness
Curtains drawn in masquerade

Where to the sopping man, renewed,
Removed I have no honest clue
Yet, with Lutheran conviction:
Beware the mirrored urchin clone
Loosed against our universe
Deceptive doppelganger who'd

Concuss humanity, earthbound
Sedate the benefactor faction
Throwing shade across the globe
Foment a foul and frothy chaos
Their like exists, implicit legion
Homunculi, contrary of the crowned

New Knowledge

The New Knowledge.

Early September, days are getting shorter and evenings longer;
the breeze that blew had pockets of cold air, a reminder of
things to come. Dawn when I got up looked into the mirror
and saw my father’s aged face. Lucid now and for once fully
conscious I had been asleep for forty years and lost the time
between youth and old age. In a foreign country and I could
no longer remember how I got here, or how to leave.
I pressed fingers to my cheeks, in quiet despair, finger marks
on inelastic skin that only slowly faded. Father, why did you
let me sleep so long, how can I now recapture my adult years?
A rumbling through the house, a picture in the living room
fell off the wall; it was of my mother and she looked so young.
The intensity of my reawaken consciousness overwhelmed me,
walls fell and naked I stood in the ruins of my unlived life
