Softly murmuring, the river’s raspy voice
Settles my soul with its rumbling choice,
Rustling quietly beneath a glowing moon,
Splattered by the sound of the river’s rejoice
Light trickles from stars who’re strewn
Across flirty skies where dreamers swoon,
Leaving the heart full, moaning its needs,
While witnesses tell tales much like cartoons
Roaring rapids reveal what the mind reads,
In stories of crashing winds with its dark deeds,
While the river gulps and hiccups on its course,
Promising to bring us its astounding proceeds.
Waters boom and belch, such a mighty force,
Revealing God’s strength, the only true source,
Mighty waters rip out a path like a racehorse,
One that most gamblers would surely indorse.
The football dream
Jesus, the famous trainer for Benefica
football club came to me in a dream
said: I didn`t stop drinking beer he
Would not indorse me to be the club`s
next goalkeeper.
After a week not drinking sitting on
my training bike in my den, Jesus
Appeared again: said I was too old
for a goalkeeper, thought to play
in the midfield would suit me better.
The Religious Mafia.
There was a great tragedy in a small town many children killed
and there was great sorrow. Then the Jesus brigade descended
telling shocked and grieving parents to pray…for what? And hope,
hope for what? These men, in suits and moist handshakes,
hugging everyone… and talking nonsense about God´s forgiveness
and everlasting love. If that was the case what is the forgiving for?
The pastors are telling people what god or his son want, how do they
know do have they a direct contact with the creator?
No, of course not, they are blinding the parents with prattle, asking
them to donate to their church, naturally, so they can all be saved.
It is all about money, financial gains, these people are worse than
automatic guns, which they, no doubt indorse, it is what god want. No?
