Do we desire to live an impactful life,
To leave a legacy that would bless and shine?
Then let us yield to Christ’s gentle choice,
And surrender all to His will divine.
Our call is to be tender, to be true,
To walk in mercy, mild, and childlike trust,
Be gentle, sweet, in all we say and do,
With willing feet, be helpful, kind, and just.
For He gives peace amid the fiercest storm,
At His Word - “Peace, be still” - the winds obey.
His voice still calms the turmoil, makes hearts warm,
Though fear may rise, stay close to Him today.
Upon that Cross, He bore our sin and grief,
Now He intercedes to bring us peace and abundant life.

Jubilant soul hopes above firmament
vibrant faith soars midst trials
radiant heart reverberates
melody of hymns, serenely triumphant
to silence chaotic angst
while exalting God Who makes life wondrous
as love-conquered human nature
fulfills functional share that leaves
impactful difference...
yon grave.

Inspired by the fact that Stevie Wonder is a blind musician, yet has never been impeded by his disability to achieve, here am I… persisting to do my best to help my special child attain triumphant milestones.
Ascending amidst impossibility's attacking angst
Bravery blossoms, boasting of blessings
Cleaving to commitment with clarity
Defying despair, disability-distress…
Endeavoring with exhorting excitement exuberantly
Faith toward fruition freely fuels fulfillment for
God guards and guides by His grace…
Hoisting with hope, healing heralds healthiness
Inspiring against infirmities toward what's impossible* to impart impactful
Joy so jubilant to fulfill tasks in life’s journey despite jeering jury…
Kindled with kindness...
Loving my special child toward his liberation
Maximized by milestones, magnify mercy with miracles...
Not and never impossible through the Lord Who nourishes and nurtures.
*Luke 1:37 For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Unknown to mortals,
is the time to depart.
For it is short but insightful,
It is fast but impactful,
Life,
with them tears and laughs,
joy and sorrow,it is purely finite,
for both the early springs and the grey.

Have you ever tried to light up the dark?
Or ever showed kindness from the heart?
What's the meaning of living a life like useless?
Ego, anger, cruelty, greed all are meaningless!
Feels like legacy had ended after your death,
A heartfelt goodbye and feelings beneath.
Have you ever tried to make a difference?
Are you worthy of your own existence?
Hats off Ratan! You lived life like Ratan!
Your friends are waiting for you to serve food!
But this time you didn't come back as all time.
Asking where that man went, who was good!
Waiting! Waiting! Waiting! Gone by the time.
Hats off Ratan! You lived life like Ratan!
What living looks like? I must tell your story!
What believing looks like? I replied in your name!
All my questions and you are all the answers!
You lived life like Ratan!
An inspiring, impactful, innovative life you had!
People or animals all are allied with your thread.
Thank you for letting us know how life looks like!
Travel! Teach! Ups and downs! Like a hike.
Hats off Ratan! You lived life like Ratan!

Robert Sherriff- Nobody’s Home - poet – author - singer-actor – model - American Historian.
Trump or Harris
From a young age, Trump has exhibited the characteristics of a privileged child, using his family’s wealth to avoid the draft during the Vietnam War.
In stark contrast, I deeply respect Kamala Harris as Vice President.
Trump’s policies, such as the controversial wall targeting immigrants, give him a unique, albeit divisive, edge. Conversely, I hope to see Harris ascend to the presidency of the United States one day.
For those who have read my poem, “12th of January 2025,” you know it foretells a grim prophecy in which Trump meets a tragic end. Historically, America has shown a pattern of eliminating its significant figures in 1865, 1881, 1901, 1963, and, potentially, 2025.
On the 12th of January 2025, Trump will face assassination—a fate that aligns with America’s troubling history of silencing impactful individuals.

Mr Raccoon had received some advice that gave him permission to knit
Why do you listen to humans? His wife groused, having a little fit.
The lady in the rainbow dress likes me, she told me to find my passion.
When he realized this meant getting rid of this wife, his face went ashen.
She makes me miserable, he told the rainbow dressed lady carrying food.
We used to be happy, but now she is perpetually in the very worst mood.
Woo her and see if that works, rainbow lady said, for your children’s sake.
The rainbow lady’s wisdom was as solid and impactful as any earthquake.

Assertive altruism always devoid of arrogance
Benefits, bountiful to share with blessed elegance…
Caring disposition midst compassionate heart forever
Devoted, dedicated commitment, wavering never…
Earnest faith smiting every challenge toward victory
Fervent trust conquering all trials against misery…
Goals that can prosper mankind against greediness
Hope hoisting prisoners to soar midst freedom-graciousness…
Influential force liberating the captives from ignorance
Justice of impactful truth guiding against deceit’s appearance…
Kindness so much to practice beyond functional limit
Love verily overflowing, being exercised every minute…
My reason is to write about divine virtues while reality prevails
Now, I testify that my poetry is inspired by God* Who never fails…
Oh, the Lord I ask for miracles in my muse along His might
Praying that my poems please HIM with my grateful delight.

It was an impactful moment
the 18-Wheeler just kissed my
near-side panel as it slid on black ice.
My truck jolted and shuddered
as if it had been kicked by a rhino.
Rubber left the air for a tick of time,
and then the vehicle
sat down, rocking back and forth
in the middle of the center lane.
A guy I had momentarily forgot
was clutching the steering wheel.
In that instant,
that old someone shouted "fork,"
then his dry lips
whispered
across long submerged years:
"Mama! It's your baby boy."

Life is beautiful she says
while having tears in her eyes
I wonder how she can still be so strong
even while life is doing her all kinds of wrong
“You only live once” though a cliché doesn’t sound like one coming from her
I realise how the life we have the honour of getting only once, to me is all a blur
Her words like no one else’s are impactful
They inspire me, they have a certain pull
“I’m so thankful to god,” she says
Somehow still finding the positives
focusing on how much worse everything could have been instead of how bad it currently is
I realise the need to count my blessings, be grateful always
Her words motivate me like no one else’s
to be the best version of myself, get out of this phase
She’s nothing special, she believes
I wish she could look at herself from my eyes
shes always names countless people whom I should get inspired from
without knowing my ultimate inspiration
is her, my mom
the beautiful woman from whom I’ve received my life’s blood
I don’t know if through all these years she ever realised the person I wanted to be most was her

Vanguard stood over his charge, giving him the go-ahead.
The soldier was unmoving, did he not know that he was dead?
You are alive now, Vanguard told him telepathically.
Why are my senses more real now? Asked the warrior Travish Lee.
Arise and follow, Vanguard said. I will take you to Portal three
Travish was barely aware that he was more than alive, now free.
The battle had been immense, and impactful. His body on the ground.
Travish felt self-conscious as he took a long wistful glance around.
Did the others know they were deceased? Where were their souls now?
They follow other spirit guides, angel said. He read his mind, oh wow!
Travish followed the angel to a glowing circle in the battlefield.
Right through it too, unsure of course, what this orb would yield.
He was in a land of enchantment now, a place of colors he had never seen.
Colors they do not show in the earthly world, where men can be so mean.
As he approached his soul committee, his heart leaped up in the air.
He was home! He remembered this place now; where everyone does care.

Thanksgiving is a time of year
To give thanks to those both far and near.
Be it family, friends, husband, or wife
Or someone else who impacts your life.
Impacting life could be good or bad
Like a deadbeat mom or dad.
Impactful lives help us grow
And at times may even make us glow.
Glowing from a glimmer of hope
In an effort to help us grow and cope.
Help us grow by knowing what we desire
Before that glimmer begins to expire.
When that desire begins to dim
A person’s heart could resent her or him.
The resentment could be from the “what-if’s”
Although others look at you as stuck up and stiff.
So, as you sit together with others
Be kind and thankful to your sisters and brothers.
Sisters and brothers need not be related
For in God’s eyes, we are all equally created.
