Yellow and black zebra long-winged
Butterfly, brought joy when I spied
Three-quarter century life and first I've seen
An internal joy that made my heart sing
One little packet of flower seed
Two plants survived my feeble attempts
From those plants I harvested with greed
Many more giant zinnia seeds to plant
Those zinnias have drawn butterflies
And moths all this hot, long summer
Some days when feeling down, mourning doves cries
Bring sadness and frowns then there's a butterfly
I look out through the kitchen window there
Fluttering and drinking nectar in large numbers
Turquoise hummingbird moth draws me away to plop
Upon the outside chair where dreamy thoughts come in large numbers

quivering wings
on windless day
in flowers sway
hummingbird moth
drops of nectar
glisten in sun
rainbow colors
unfold the dawn

When I thought of the springtime;
The weather laughed, I sigh..cried;
Lo, I spy ...
O, la hummingbird moth silken lines;
Beautiful springtime before my eyes;
I felt compelled to sniff the flowers,
Of beautiful marigolds in it's beauty

Beauty walked straight into my life
Opened blinded eyes to glory
Everything now highlife
Beauty touches this story
With gentle soft scented breeze
Even blue Morning Glory
Beauty accompanies dawn
Days of red fireball brawn
Beauty touched white Luna Flower
Moon beams gives this flower power
To open__ beautify night
Wafting scent draws Hummingbird Moth
Beauty opened my eyes__sooth
Creation offers free gift
Each day a new story
Commenoratory
When beauty walked into my heart
New view of life the total part
Beauty never now depart
Feed my spirit lift me up please
On your gift my soul will appease
Beauty open doors, windows
Touch on my heartstrings ease
With rainbows no shadows
