Wherever I may hop
and plop them down
in summer my hind feet
are a shade of brown
yet in winter white
which leave large footprints
each and every night
but then by day
I'll have you know
they give the game away
as is my inborn habit
here there and everywhere
for at best I'm less a rabbit
more a snowshoe hare
I'm the vessel of your verses
The voice of your vice
The product of the dream you nurture
The nature you hide
I'm the vessel of your verses
For better or worse as
I killed as much as I healed
For your own selfish causes
Though like I
Sprinkled in time – a wrinkle in time
Distort this course of pattered patterns
As we try to advise
I come from a plight your voice invites
Yet through that noise my choice is mine
I'll rhyme with vice from time to time
But rhyme my course through what is mine
To frame my words:
Picture my verse reversing a curse and nursing a hearse
Purging the urge to merge with the merchant of murder or worse
Piercing the person that persecuted my pride
Piercing the Plight that worsens the worth of the words I write
Purging my urges, the grudges held from the judgment of hurt
Purging my hypocrisy, when it gave you hurt much worse
The stanzas alliterate to reflect the repetition
The verse of illiterate veterans on a mission
To verse you in their permanent "medicating" religion
Most mean love, while most only deliver what's given
How fast can I fall?
I have been stuck in limbo.
How hard will I land?
Sunny bunny hip hop gave a spin and a slide
Fell on her head, and gave the floor a ride
What is she doing? The ballet dancers asked
Being her grandma, I wished that I was masked
I guess they call it hip hop, a tap dancer said.
She tapped her feet all the way to the head.
Hop hop? What is hip hop? Asked Mrs. Middle
I am not sure, I said, but it frightens me a little.
Herbert the hip hop mouse
twerked and tweaked around the house
His dancing was causing some annoyance to some
He is so lazy, he is a bum!
His father was the one to scold.
He’s young, said his mother, you are just old!
Herbert’s dancing was big and bold.
He hoped to win a contest’s gold.
Echoes of the 90s Hip Hop
In the dawn of the nineties glow, Beats dropped heavy, spirits in flow, old school vibes, raw and true, rhythms that kicked butt shaped a culture anew/
G-funks smooth, West Coasts ride, East Coasts hustle, man, pride you can't hide, from Tupac's voice to Big L's rhyme, legends etched in the sands of time/
Boom bap beats and scratchin decks, Classic cuts that still connect, Undergrounds dance steps, popin' and deep, secrets that the old 90's school keeps diggin' on ya, that's for keeps/
Mix tapes spinning, smokin' joints alive, every rhyme a hustle, a story to survive, from Diddys
drops to Ice Cube's boombox stance, Hip hop's soul a fierce dance/
So, dig this, here's a high-five to hip hop's golden age, the craft, the passion, the music, rapper's rage, forever in our turntable hearts they stay, the timeless sound of hip-hop's "beat down" lies in its aggressive, stripped-back rhythm, take no prisoners sound, a blueprint for heavy social commentary/
Man, it's the message, hip-hop history, forever new/

The majestic position of the lion
Clad in mud, olive-brown, warts and slime,
Across the lawn, a slow, squat, toxic blight,
Dinner-plate menace, poisonous glands
The warty invader takes all our time,
Flesh-webbed feet in the dead of night—
Spreading fast over native lands.
Nothing stops them, not native nor hound,
We watch them, the curse,
All of the toads.
In thousands now on the ground,
Worse.
Charlie, the hip-hop bunny was a skater too
his floppy ears flying out further than a cow can moo
He had a way about him that said I am confident
His self-value was way over one hundred percent
Other bunnies admired him, they felt his power
He embraced their admiration, he did not cower
Charlie the skater and hip-hop bunny was a role model to all
We observe him skating every spring and every fall
A Well known Noun was signing autographs at the:
Music Verbing Area in a Noun, outside of Nounia.
Someone in the booth began playing the song
"Dipathong Montra" and everybody started dancing.

I’m listening deeper than the words you say,
Hearing what your silence keeps safe.
The boy with the ladybug on his shoulder,
Guess they were right when they told us—
“No more you and me, now it’s we,”
Funny how truth sounds holy.
Love grows, feelings anticipated,
Lips touch, time stays satiated,
Dark abyss, starry cosmic, obliterated,
My body an oasis, water weeps, don’t keep me waiting.
Every second’s heavy, every moment weighted,
Heart like a hazy orange, dream sky in the morning,
Light spills through my soul, every thought still roaming.
No more you and me, now it’s we,
Falling slow, but it’s everything,
If love’s a dream, don’t wake me please,
Stay right here inside this feeling.
No more you and me, now it’s we,
Your touch speaks in poetry,
If happiness is believing, then believe with me.
punky spunky hip hop mouse loved to dance
he took his show from Sweden to France
Shook his tail and stomped his enormous feet
best of all, had lots of tasty new things to eat
His hair was purple, pink, orange and blue
Always different colors, said his sister Sue
She traveled around and watched him dance.
Best scones, she said, she found in France.
