In Iceland we settled down in a comfortable downy bed.
My man’s arm was a comfy spot for me to rest my head.
It’s a light show that you will see only once in your life.
I loved hearing his voice, knowing he now called me wife.
This honeymoon was a dream I did not think possible at all.
Yet, my husband made it come true; he is certainly a doll.
When he showed me the tickets I loved him a tiny bit more
Which is unbelievable for he I truly a hundred percent adore.
The light show began about nine p.m. Iceland time.
The photos do Northern Lights no justice, they prance in a rhyme.
I watched with fascination as they showed off their magic in the sky.
I know I will never have a better honeymoon, thanks to my sweet guy

Had I been a lout I could have married the princess;
My wife's brother has married a banker's daughter.
My neighbor Jacob's wife Megan is a curio-shop owner.
My friend Lucas is blessed with Annabel a Google CEO.
My brother is honeymooning in Hawaii with Grace Kelly.
But fate..I know his status.
Poor, bankrupt, will soon end up in jail.
Fate, I ain't a goddamn muggins like you.

Minnies bow and mickeys ears
A land of joy and never tears
Little children having fun
Rising early with the sun
Adults are acting young not old
Warm sunshine, not freezing cold
Pin trading and big parades
Fancy rooms and friendly maids
Yummy food to eat and share
No fighting-- just fun everywhere
Crowns and dresses
Gifts to send
Never wanting it to end
Entertaining plays and shows
Fireworks that shine and glow
Characters that come to life
A honeymooning man and wife
So much fun that always lasts
As days and nights go by too fast
Leaving is the toughest part
As memories will fill your heart
Of the good times you have shared
With loved ones and friends who care

MORNING DELIGHT
In one clasps of our hands
Suddenly the murmurings
Are becoming warm and intense
As boldness left behind dumbness
As together now we sing melodious
Songs, caressing. kissing, and playfully dance
Till the wee hours which greatly inspired us.
Even the dawning sun it seems
It was kept at bay
And the stars twinkling and clapping
Witnessing how sweet we have shared
A blissful contrast of a newlyweds honeymooning
A balikbayan to waiting gentle hand
Though jittery they stood together to a
morning glory!
Now, shall we let it go
Vis a vis the doldrums
Of yesteryears which we didn't denied
After the high school years
Autographs, roses and chocolates
Were fads of the late 60's yet to a funny fan
Bestows to a man's erudite love for poetry.
The more it comes straight from the hearts
The constancy of exchange writings of messages and poems
Have become part of life's spontaneity
Even at the middle of the night, we are awaken
Laptops connected, phone conversation
Every little sweet words reverberating through!

The breaks screeched to avoid melodramas
" Free Kittens" - a sign said next to the port...
Name: Thomas Bahamas In Pajamas
Thus, he became my son's pet of some sort.
Inflated fur ball with four skinny legs
Greenish eyes and a mane like a lion
The last "warrior" was he at mom's "kegs"
In his quest to become Himalayan.
We brought him to Sophie - a rescued cat
Abandoned at birth, her eyes almost closed
No mommy taught her how to chase a rat
"I'll be showing you the ropes", he proposed.
So, Thomas Bahamas In Pajamas
Demonstrated his seductive techniques
Now, the couple is gone among llamas
Honeymooning and expecting in weeks...
