Some teens went trick-or-treating for fun
Not thinking they would have to run
Night creatures attacked
Turning them into smacked
They were toppings on a giant honeybun
I don’t want to walk to the front room
Can I have my dinner on a tray?
I wept inside for he could hardly eat
So thin I thought his backbone might well break
I’ll get you a small table, honeybun
Just a mo, I’ll put the oven on
I want a steak ,he called another day
If he could eat it I would be God’s prey
I can’t chew it, pet, my stomach’s full
The fluid from the blood, I knew it well
The valve is furred, his blood is being pushed back
Fills his inner organs swells and racks
I was almost paralysed and stunned
Putting him to bed was quite a pun
Then he woke up from a little sleep
Spoke to me in words so clear and sweet
You have a personality so bright,
The sun must envy you your brilliant light
After that he scarcely used his words
We did not need to speak, it wa
WHAT MADE YOU STRONGER
Just a simple thing to choose,
more than weight that one should lose.
Life on the line, shouldn’t be your fate,
Almost dying because of weight.
'Twas appropriate to slim her down,
If she wished to stay around,
Never a better day to start,
to have a happier healthy heart.
Food was never the enemy,
But depression, loss, and poverty.
Hopelessness makes it hard to eat,
A salad than fries and chips for treat.
Hardship also lends a hand,
to the jobless, homeless, desperate man.
And the comfort of a honeybun,
No one could only have just one.
But now a lifeline is ultimately thrown,
You could not do it on your own,
You find yourself despising you,
The yo-yo fails of your pursuit.
Now you're a survivor regardless to
The measure taken to rescue you,
You'll now live out these words much longer.
What didn’t kill you, has made you stronger.
I called her sweetie pie
She called me honeybun
Her apple pies were nice
She baked them just for fun
And in the fall, she'd make
A sumptuous pumpkin pie
She always loved to bake
She kept me satisfied
But the apple of my eye
Is my lovely sweetie pie
Her ingredients do enthrall
She's my favorite pie of all
So you are the birthday girl?.....Could it be true?
And the very thought is making you blue?
Well.....what can I possibly say on this day, of all days?
some kind of wisdom to comfort and cheer you?
As I would recall....
my mom used to say, if you can't say something nice
don't say it at all.......!
But here's some advice
if your mirror has cracked, like a big hunk of ice
It might be the sight, you have given it fright!
Don't look at it twice!! It will never be nice!
So cover the glass, don't show it your ass
The ghastly effect, will shatter what's left!
If the twinkle is gone.....and a wrinkle surrounds
The frown in your brow, where the crow lines have come
to roost for awhile
just be glad that bees aren't making a hive
in that honeybun sag, where your boobs used to hide!
If your backside is found on the ground facing south
turn your mouth to a smile, just be glad you're alive!!
