Premium MemberLee Watches Thrillers on TV

I rarely see a ghastly sight said Lee
Nothing grisly or gruesome except on TV
I watch homicides all day and night long
What murderers do to bodies, is usually wrong.

Why don’t you watch uplifting shows? Mama said
They don’t interest me or excite my head.
Liking the macabre seemed weird to her.
Especially since Lee used to be pacifist-pure.

I’m still all about peace, Lee quickly said.
My fascination is with the ones who are dead.
People who got taken by an unknown killer.
I like a twisted story, especially a thriller.

Terror Ten Years Ago

Ten years ago today, four innocent people in a pharmacy were shot.
It took just thirty something minutes for the murderer to be caught.
The two employees survived but the pharmacist and his customer died.
The murderer is in prison for two attempted murders and two homicides.
The murderer shot those four people because of some medication.
He left two families without fathers and caused a lot of devastation.
When the victims loved ones were informed, it brought about misery and tears.
The victims are still missed by their families and friends after all of these years.
I was in that pharmacy and left just five minutes before the killer came there.
I was shocked and disgusted because what happened was horrible and unfair.
Because of a tray of Oxycontin pills, four people were shot and two of them perished.
But those two men haven't been forgotten and they will always be cherished.

(Dedicated to Stephen Lovell and Richard Sommerville who were murdered ten years ago today on May 23, 2013)

Premium MemberHalf-Mast

Old Glory’s at half-mast today.

I wonder who just passed away?

Was it a hero from some battles past?

A dead leader whose influence lasts?

Were servicemen killed overseas,

Or humanitarians died fighting a disease?

Seems most of the time I don’t know why

The Colors only at half-mast fly.

More and more it seems to be

The flag’s mourning some local tragedy:

A lunatic shooter with a gun or rifle

Killed innocents for some reprisal;

Or people contemplating suicides

Go out committing multiple homicides.

I think the worst is killing schoolchildren.

Will this obscene madness never end?!

Gun Control

A touchy subject among many
In 2022 18,221 died by homicides
with guns
In the USA

Automobile Deaths
25,841 male drivers and 10,676 female drivers
Totaling: 36,517 deaths
In the USA

12,000 people died falling downstairs
In the USA

No one has ever died writing poetry

Needless to say:
Don't get shot or ride in a car and never buy a two-story house
the only safe thing left to do is:
Write Poetry

Premium MemberWith the Heart of a Lion, a Tribute To John Fetterman

With the heart of a Lion, a tribute to John Fetterman
John was the Mayor of a ghetto town and used his
family resources to turn things around. Where
buildings were abandoned and things looked stark,
John brought new life, parks and art...
With the heart of a lion John worked night and day,
homicides dropped, crime was held at bay...
Recovering from a stroke with an occasional pause,
this 6 foot man debated the polished Mr. Oz,
because that's just the things he does...
Some might view John as cavalier, he made a
few enemies here and there, but isn't that politics
every where??
Vote John Fetterman, Pa.'s better man!!

My Dog and I

4/7/22

I often smoke it up, the amount is of a colossal size
Drinking whatever even bottled wines

For a long time
Always in a fog and high
It's just been my dog and I

Clueless or watchful eyes
Get with it or fall in line
Sick and tired of such novel lies
Ya'll guys
Some small fries
Still acting like a hostile tribe
During difficult and awful times

What was done was not that bright
Therefore never got it right
Leading to constant loss of life
As well as homicides
Staying on the rise
Leaving families traumatized
What happened was wrong alright
You should be disqualified

Pockets empty or full of bills not pocketknives
When I look in my mama's eyes
I know I gotta try
In order for our lives to be optimized
Does no good to compromise

Before becoming fossilized
Putting it all aside
I'm not going to apologize
Because I make sure that any of my wrongs I right
Changes made occasionally the plan modified
So much still on the mind

Humankind

Give me a quite room with a pen and book
Let me tie my shoes and reminisce about old school,
Underneath these massive rocks of my mountainous youth
Let me unleash the hidden truth.
What will come after modified food?

Let me meet the man behind the essence of this rule,
In those mountains serving as mirrors
To see those wonderful creatures living outside our loop.
We cry not for those who had to choose.

Give me the higher purpose in these lanes
To reveal those hidden names.
What about the edited books?
With thousands of words omitted
Dozens of pages missing, facts that were never quoted
And the summary of twisted words
From those distorted hearts and souls.
We are divided by neighborhoods and classified like stooks.

Centuries of homicides, genocides
And piles of dead bodies lying by the valley side,
Out of all animals we are on top of the food pyramid
We decide who live or die as our extinction approaches quick.
Few fear the words they remember when they are pissed.

Premium MemberClean Up In Aisle 5-

rumors of wars
 lives are torn
death of mankind
men and all their atomic toys
political debauchery unholy
dancing and dying
Tension stealing the midnight oils
in the streets middle class children with not enough to eat
black on black crime
used to be I robbed you for dime
Dwell off thinks impoverished by taking care of they're just a treat
my boys run wild down the sewers of my town
Wipe off those tears turn around and frowns
 I need a refreshing
I need more than just a blessing
Homicides of murders on the streets
Lord God we need to clean up in aisle 5

Nothing To See Here

significant and alarming rises in deaths

significant hurricanes and tornados
there are deaths

baby showers
graduations
weddings

domestic violence is significantly up
up being a surge
of consumer consumption
of cars and televisions
anything
killings in the market place

mow the grass
grill

drink more

significant rise in alcoholism
the authorities are stump
the president is stumped
the cops are leaving town
adultery is up
statisticians are stumped
sex crimes significantly up
up being a rise in blood temperature
death by misadventures
gang warfare
social unrest
funerals
upheavals of unrest at funerals
fights with fists

homicides hover over critical mass
significant amount of anger and rage
eruptions
mayhem

take the poodle to the pound
kidnap a Pitbull
mow the cat
kill the dinner
kiss the kids
divorce the mower
drink
jail
drugs
dead head

dead head the blood red roses
sing a song of freedom

Premium MemberSerial Killer Homicides

Serial killers are the most difficult to apprehend,
because they have no connection to their victims.
Most serial killer homicides,
remain unsolved regardless of how hard law enforcement tries,
because there is no connection with the killer and the ones who died.

Premium MemberIf All My Wishes Came True

If all my wishes came true I would be driving a fire truck around town, blowing the sirens.
I would save people’s lives, stop child abuse, and build up bullies, so they could love themselves.

If all my wishes came true, I would live with two hundred and twelve dogs, mostly huskies.
And build a cat tower from here to heaven, so the heaven cats and the earth cats could play together.

If all my wishes came true I would build creative centers in the worst places in the cities,
And the people would come and eat pizza for free, and create masterpieces with their laughing children.

If all my wishes came true, everyone would have a house, clothes, and a lovely marigold-filled garden.
In every country in every universe there would be hope, resiliency, love, kindness, and synergy.

The world would be such a delightful place to live, there would be zero suicides and zero homicides.
The policemen would be around though, so they could wear their badges, and run community gardens.

If all my wishes came true, the world would be such a wonderful place to be, that heaven would smile.
If all my wishes came true, your wishes would also come true, and your neighbors, and mine.

Complacent

Become what you were meant to be
The world awaits your arrival, anxious to see

Evolution is bound to rear its head
Afraid of change, you aim to stay stagnate instead

No new adventures for the lonely, just similar strides
One has killed any chance of change, multiple homicides

Vibes

7/28/16

On either side
We try to strive
And live our lives
In the same or different tribes

Below or in the skies
Near and far from the tides
Seeing things with our own eyes

Among animals and human kind
In close proximities or areas that are open wide

Positive no negative vibes
As the sun shines
And darkness arrives

We all take dives
But what matters is if you rise
And continue to climb
Regardless of if you fall behind

At times
The stars and planets align
Or become trine
Events and occurrences coincide as well as occasionally intertwine
For some they may be difficult to describe

Still to this day and age are homicides
And crimes
As well as hostility causing people to divide

Realize the answer can be hard to find
Even when all efforts are applied
In the end the result just may leave you disatisfied

Jack the Rip-Off

JACK THE RIP-OFF

cold homicides
from clean quills
vices of knives
sharp sharks
stalk down
Piranha’s
with platitudes
of
predictability
but in your brain
red is the pain
without gain
expressing
reality
in waves
no need to
explain
