Hala Poems

Premium MemberTurning Point

Everybody has experienced a turning point
It’s a natural part of life; it’s part of growing up
Life is a sleek roller coaster that goes down and up
There’s a Carrefour which we must turn to a point
To pause, think, fathom and reflect upon and to move on
To face a neoteric reality, an ingenious centaur with apron
Unusual or strange events take place all the time where
Nobody is in control; nobody dares to face the bad bear
Life is more than an enigma, a hieroglyph, a mystery
Nobody can really predict anything under the hala tree
One must do his/her best to use the turning point to be
A newer individual, a courageous leader and a brilliant apprentee
Only schlemiels don’t change; only zombies have no hope to be better
It’s scary and sad that the world is following the demented monster.

Pasko Sa Dagat

Habang nilalakbay itong karagatan,
Iba't ibang kulay ng ilaw ang nasisipat
Kadilima'y alay rin sa mamamayan
Puting walang galaw, iba nama'y pakipat-kipat

Premium MemberFullness

Fullness

This morning I was full moon gazing
While the sun was fast asleep
And my inner fullness felt amazing,
A profound peacefulness that runs deep.

Peace and gratitude for all life brings -
This lush valley of stunning rainbows,
The draping hala tree, the cardinal that sings,
Life's kindness to me and the path it chose

For me to journey in this lifetime
And learn the lessons of pain and pleasure
Flowing in the current of life's rhythm and rhyme
In its countless mysteries I'll always treasure.

May this fullness be shared by all mankind
During this season of Thanksgiving
I pray all discord be left behind
And our focus be on the joys of living.

Kulpazan Oldu Bu Gece

Ben burdayim canim yuregim
Ya sen nerdesin bilemeden kendini
Soyle kim kime kulpazan kurdu bu gece
Yine dinlediler mi telefonunu
Bir kipirti sende bir isyan bir haykiris
Uyarmistim seni gitme be ustune
Hadi be gordun mu yine kazandim
Sen hapiste senelerce bilemeden sucunu
Ben burdayim hala sesimi cikarmadan

** For the people who raise their voice and paid the penalty in jail without the verdict. For the people who elected in house without a verdict in jail in two years...
What makes them strong and seculiar is riped apart..... Play the game who?**
